Okay so I've finally finished this anime after 4 years and I've always loved these 2 together so here is a story I wrote when I finished it the other day.

Doremi Harukaze sat on the bank of the river under the bridge. She was not happy. Actually, she was the complete opposite of happy. She was pissed. Cause: Tetsuya Kotake.

"Stupid Kotake", she mumbled. "Why did he say that?"

*Flashback*

Doremi and her new friend, Jimejo, walked into class. Doremi was talking about her new crush of the week. Kotake, who 'just so happened' to overehear, said "Dojimi, when will you learn that he's never gonna like you?"

"Shut up, Kotake. No one asked you. Besides what do you know anyway?"

" I know you'll forever be alone." Doremi started to tear up.

"Kotake, you really-", Jimejo started but was interrupted by Doremi shouting.

"KOTAKE YOU JERK! GO DIE!" With that she ran out of the classroom.

*End Flashback*

Doremi's anger slowly diminished into sadness.

"What if he's right?"

"If you honestly think I'm right then you're an idiot."

Doremi turned around to see Kotake. She was shocked but then he anger resurfaced.

"Why aren't you in class?", she asked venomously.

"Well, uh, I wanted to apologize for what I said. I was way out of line and I didn't even mean it."

"Then why did you say it. It hurts you know."

"I know. I'm sorry. Really I am, but I can't tell you why. You wouldn't believe me."

"Okay, then why do you bully me all the time in general?"

Kotake thought for a moment. He knew the answer but saying 'I like you' wouldn't cut it. He went and sat down next to her before he began.

"Have you ever heard that guys bully a girl when they like them?" Doremi could only nod slightly. "Well, it's kinda like that."

"So then. is that why you said that? Because you like me? That makes no sense. You realize that don't you."

"Yeah I do but I can't really explain it any other way. I like you so I don't want you to be with anybody else, but I never thought I would actually tell you the truth so I would never be with you. It's just a whole big crazy mess."

"Kotake, can I tell you something?"

"Hm?"

"First, do you remember in 6th grade during the camping trip? I hurt myself and you helped me."

"Yeah, so?"

"Well, that made me realize that you're not as bad as you seemed, until you started teasing me again, but there was always something I felt from that time that wouldn't go away. Now, I think I've figured it out."

She turned to look him in the eye.

"Kotake, I think I like you too."

Kotake was shocked. After everything he's done to her she still feels that way about him?

"Are you serious?" She nodded. His eyes lit up. He jumped to his feet picking her up and spinning he around with joy. All Doremi could do was giggle in her own happiness.
