Chapter 15

Night time had fallen across the city of Magnolia, and everything was dead silent inside the Fairy Tail guild, everyone couldn't really say a word as they saw the blonde wolf slayer pacing the wooden floor, some could have sworn that they saw smoke flying up every now and again with the way she was going, biting her thumb, wearing just a pair of blue jeans, black vest and white leather jacket, her hair was tied up showing off the tattoo on her neck proudly, but deep in her mind was concern and worry.

After reading the note on her bathroom mirror, she had begun to think irrationally and was about to march over to the priests hiding place to trade herself to get her friend free, but Laxus had seen that and teleported them straight to the guild, once Master Makarov saw the two enter the guild, Laxus explained everything while team Silver star stopped their leader from running out of the guild, surprisingly it was Natsu who was able to talk some sense into the wolf slayer, enough for her to begin pacing the guilds floor.

Stopping and looking over to the bar where Master Makarov was sat cross legged on the wood, a mug in one hand and a staff in the other wearing that stupid stripy hat, her patients was wearing thin thinking of the panic that Minerva must be in, the woman hated the man just as much as Lucy did, biting her lip, "Master please….let me go." Cracking open his left eye, he studied the young woman closely, her brown eye's held so much pain for her friend in the sabertooth guild, it broke his heart, he let out a heavy sigh, slicing through the silence, as everyone made no effort to move, but he could tell that Team Natsu, Team Shadow gear, Thunder god tribe and Team silver ready to move.

"No my child, I know she is your friend and you both went through something that no one else can understand, but you are too emotional right now child, Laxus my boy, your team will go and investigate this man's hideout, Team Shadow gear, I want you to go to the council and dig up any records of this man, we will go through proper channels with this one. Lucy you only know him as you was a child at the time in your captivity correct?"

The blonde nodded, keeping her head down, she was disappointed that her team wasn't going on the rescue mission, "Yes that's correct master"

He rubbed his chin, "Then, do you know if he used any magic? I know these memories are painful for you, but any information you can give us will make it easier for the thunder tribe" she gave a sigh, sitting down on the bar stool next to the master, her bangs covering her eyes, not wanting to show any fear to the guild, she gritted her teeth slightly, "Not that I remember, he did use magical restraints so no matter on how much me and Mina tried, we couldn't use any magic…..but it's been a long time he could have learned magic by now….he's a very dangerous man master, I …. I don't want anyone hurt…"

A gentle hand was placed on her shoulder, she looked up into the eyes of Mira, a faint trace of a sad smile on her face, but she knew the older woman was trying to comfort her, she could see that Mira wanted to go herself, biting her bottom lip, she placed a hand on top of the take-over mage, "Master I'll be staying at Lucy's tonight along with Laxus and Kane, if we do not get any contact with any members of Laxus team within 24 hours, we will be going ourselves, I know we must tread carefully, but Sting and Rouge are on the edge just as much as we are right now."

Makarov watched the twin dragon slayers, both men had been hit hard with the knowledge that their friend had been taken by this mad man, "I can agree to them terms, now I know you can't wait any longer, grab what you need and head out, but be careful!"

With that teams began moving, Mira grabbed drinks from the bar for her team, Erza was giving orders to Team Natsu, Team shadow gear including Gajeel had given Lucy a quick hug before running out of the guild.

Laxus had gone over a quick team talk with Freed, making sure they knew all they could before heading out, once he had finished he walked over to where his mate was and sat down on a stool, "Blondie, look at me." But it was like she wasn't listening, he took his hand and lifted her chin, he didn't like seeing her like this, she looked lost, he never wanted to see her in this state, not after she broke down the other day when she told him the story about her past.

Picking the blonde of the seat bringing her into the safety of his large muscular arms, breathing In her strawberry scent, "We are going to get her back, and I'm not going to leave you alone ok?"

Lucy's head nodded, but words wasn't registering inside her mind, she could feel the warmth of Laxus, and how safe it felt to be in his arms, how right it felt, but all her mind could think about was if Mina was ok.

Deep in the Heartfilia Land an old abandon church laid on the outskirts right next to the rather large forest, all the lights was off, apart from one right at the back of the church, and a very loud scream was heard.

Unfortunately, everywhere on the land was isolated, Jude Heartfilia didn't trust many people, so it wasn't a wide known area to commoners, and that made it harder for people to know what really was going on behind the doors to this holy place.

A loud laugh was heard, going into the back of the church, a man with slick back raven hair, glasses over his hazel eyes, with a slight speck of blood on them, his priest robes had been ditched to a pair of black slacks, and a black t-shirt, you could see the evil glint in his eyes, as he held a torch in his right hand, "that's it baby….scream for me!" Minerva looked up to the man, disgust was held on her face, parts of her body was red, as the skin was blistering from where the flames had burnt into her skin.

"Fuck you, you crazy bastard! Once Sabertooth know about this, that guild is going to come down on you like a ton of bricks!" the man stood up straight, a sickening grin held on his face, he pushed his glassed up the bridge of his thin bony nose "Oh I don't think they will my little sweet, even if my little pet has bought back this land, it's still known as off limits to the public as stated in Jude Heartfilia's contract with the council, so all I have to do is contact the council for harassment and all your little friends will be in jail quicker than you can think about it."

He reached over placing the torch on the wall, and sighed taking his glasses off, cleaning the blood away, and looked up to her, "Sadly it wasn't you I wanted, but that bitch has that overgrown baboon watching her every move, I'm surprised he survived her rage though, I had expected her to actually kill him when she snapped."

"You were watching that! You sick mother fucker! You are the main cause of her to lose control" he couldn't help but grin and walk closer grabbing her chin, breathing his breath on her lips, "oh yes, and what a fun experiment it was, I had heard wolf slayers lose control and when go into a fit of rage that its uncontrollable until the last person is dead…. I was disappointed that no one died" taking out a packet of cigerettes from his pocket, and placing the white stick into his mouth, using the torch to light it he took back some and blew the spoke into her face.

"I have a feeling Fairy Tail will coming looking for you though, they know no respect for the rules, and since Lucy is a member of the Heartfilia family, she has the authority to give the go for them to be on this land, so I know she'll be less protected, meaning I can leave here and get in there undetected." He walked over to the fireplace where there was iron resting in the flames, you could tell from the orange glow that it was hot, "but before I leave you all alone here, I'm going to have some fun with you"

With that he took the hot iron and placed it against her hip, leaving nothing but screams and scars.

Magnolia – strawberry street

Laying on the pink sofa, Lucy was anything but happy, she had been forced into her apartment by her mate and Mira, Kane was already there inspecting the scent that was left from the priest, one arm covering her eye's, while she had the other hanging off the sofa, the white jacket thrown over the floor, her boots hanging half off her feet.

"Hey Lucy?" but the person got no answer, "Oi Silver! Are you listening," Kane walked over and knelt down next to his sister, his hand reached out, stroking the long golden hair hanging over the arm. A small sigh escaped her cherry lips, "Kane, what am I going to do? I should be out there looking for Minerva…. Sure she was a bitch during the GMG, but, she was what kept me going in that nightmare." His eye's scanned his sisters body over, seeing the teeth marks on her ear, and slight scaring on the girls wrist once she removed her sweatband, he just wanted to go and murder this guy himself, but he had promised Mira that he would stay and help protect Lucy while two teams was out on missions for the master, "I know how you feel Silver, it's like when you went missing all over again, I just wanted to go looking for you but I couldn't, I was young and the clan wanted to make sure I didn't get involved with anything that Jude may have set up."

He sat down with his back to the couch, but his head near his sisters head, he began picking at the carpet, Mira was in the kitchen listening to the siblings talk, she was cooking up a meal for them and also to keep her mind off the events that was currently happening, she had already spoken to Laxus and Kane about taking watches through the night to make sure no one broke in, and more importantly, to make sure that Lucy didn't sneak off in the middle of the night.

It broke her heart to hear everything her friend had been through, no not friend that didn't sound right anymore to her, more like sister, she was technically married to Kane so that did make Lucy her sister in law, Laxus felt the same way about Lucy, he was torn between going with his team and staying here to watch over the person he loved.

She had never seen Laxus so torn over someone, especially the very light of the guild, he had even spoke to Team Natsu in a friendly manor, Natsu had agreed he would keep watch on the roof, as his dragon senses was more attuned than the other dragon slayers, a small smile was on her face, it would never cease to amaze Mira on how much Natsu loved Lucy, he knew that the girl was taken, but he was Lucy's best friend, the one person who first showed her love and caring, her first real family member in a long time so it shouldn't come to a surprise that Natsu would be the first person there to help out the blonde wolf slayer.

Then it came down to Lucy's spirits, she knew that they loved Lucy just as much as she loved them, the girl had an ever growing family of people who cared and the girl didn't even know it, Lucy had touched the hearts of everyone she ever came across, with that charming smile and large heart, everyone wanted to be her friend.

"when he finally let me go Kane, I was so ashamed of myself, I felt like such a disappointment to father, I had shamed our mother, someone had caught me using my slayer magic and they enjoyed watching the pain and torcher they inflicted on me, they took my innocence Kane, if my father had found out….i'd have been even more alone than what I already was, I'd hate to think about what he would have done, No Kane Father never struck me, he just ignored me, I know what you was talking to everyone about when we went on that mission to crocus, I never went through child abuse"

Kane raised his eye brow, Lucy never ceased to amaze him, her wolf side was a lot more stronger than his, "Sorry, you just held so many secrets from everyone Silver, and you know I worry about you…." She used her free hand and rubbed his sandy blonde hair, "I know you do Kane, but I'll get through this once Mina is back with us and William hunter is in jail….or dead…." Kane couldn't help but laugh, "As much as you'd love to, I know you don't have it in you to kill anybody, not unless you go into rage mode."

That made the blonde smile, finally uncovering her brown eye's, looking at her brothers lop sided grin, "your right, I'd feel too much guilt for killing him, despite what he's done to me…" she sat up but leaned her head backwards, her nose catching the lovely aroma of Mira's cooking, causing her stomach to grumble slightly, "Hey where is Laxus anyway?"

"He's talking to his new best friend on the roof, come on, how about after dinner, I run you a nice hot bath, and maybe wash your hair like when we was kids?" she blushed knowing everyone could hear that but nodded, "I'd like that, i'm sorry for making you all worry about me, come on, lets see if Mira needs a hand in the kitchen before shouting them two idiots for dinner? I just hope the Thunder god tribe, brings Mina back, I gave them permission to be on my land, damn I need to remember to change that stupid law my father placed out," both of them stood up Kane wrapping an arm around his sisters waist, in a comforting side hug, "yeah, that sounds like a good idea"

They walked into the kitchen to help the take-over mage who was grateful for the help, Lucy shouted the two males down and enjoyed a nice meal together.

Heartfilia land

Freed, Bixlow and Evergreen had just arrived at the church, all three of them in shock as they felt the heat from the flames that was caging the church, black smoke raising high into the sky, "Oh….god….lets just hope she's still alive!" spoke the fairy magic mage, both men nodded, "Let's get to it team!"
