A/N: So as bad as it sounds, I really did not think I was ever going to write another chapter for this fic, or any Bechloe fic. Then Pitch Perfect 2 came out and cue all these reviews and messages asking me, begging me to finish. So here I am. But you know what really drove me to write this evening?

This review:

Katherina

Well I haven't sent you a review so far because I knew that you wrote this quite a long time ago but now I want you to know that after the release of pitch perfect 2 I even more fell for bechloe and read your fanfics and I am so in to them I can't even tell!Your writing is stunning but I appreciate it if you have not a lot of time for writing more but I just felt like I need to tell you that there are people waiting out there for the ending for so long and I thought maybe if you read this you want to coninue this amazing story and bringing it to an end..This needs being brought to an end I couldn't handle it if there was no ending...So yeah you're probably not even gonna read this but then I have even tried (sry if my english sucks but I'm from Germany so yeah I think you get the point ;) )

Your English is fantastic by the way, and thank you for the lovely words and helping to motivate me.

Here is the second last chapter, it's been awhile since I wrote anything so I hope it's alright!

Chloe entered her parents' house with Charlotte in her arms, followed closely behind her was a very upset and freaked out Beca.

"What happened to you three?" Chloe's mother asked, noticing the very tense environment.

Beca clenched as she waited for Chloe to sell her out to their family. However, she was surprised to see that's not how it went at all.

"We lost Charlotte for like five minutes," Chloe replied, looking at her brother with a tired frown plastered on her face.

"Oh god, you had me scared there for a second thinking someone died or something." Joanne let out a breath of relief.

"Wh-what?" A very confused Chloe replied, shocked that no one else was freaking out like she did.

"Oh please sweetie, a lost kid in the mall? That's not that big of a deal. I mean please, if I had a nickel for every time I misplaced you or your brothers I would have had enough money for that boob job I wanted a few years back." Joanne replied.

Chloe shook her head from the quick, but not so pleasant image that had appeared in her head for all of two seconds. "Boob job…what? I mean hold on. We basically lost your daughter; don't you have anything to say about that?" Chloe looked over at Chris, surprised to see he was laughing.

Chris shrugged. "Good on you for finding her?" He replied as more of a question than a statement. "Look Chlo," he continued after seeing Chloe's unimpressed reaction. "Am I glad my daughter is okay? Obviously, however, kids get lost all the time. It's nothing you or Beca should be beating yourself up over. Charlotte is safe, and that's the number one thing that matters." Chris had ended with a soft smile on his face, looking over at Beca who he could tell was more freaked out than anyone.

"Oh," was all Chloe could reply with as she thought about how she must have made Beca feel. Why did she react so poorly about everything? Why did this seem more of a big deal to her than anyone else in the room?

"Well, we'll be outside if anyone needs us." Joanne gestured to her son to follow; as she could tell Beca and Chloe needed some privacy.

Beca kicked her shoes off and slowly walked upstairs. She entered hers and Chloe's room, scrunching her face at the site of all the Leonardo Dicaprio photos plastered on the wall. She collapsed on the bed, face first. A moment of silence passed before she nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt another hand on her back.

"It's just me," Chloe whispered. Beca moved to the other side of the bed, to give her wife some room. Chloe lied down on her side and stared at Beca.

"I am so sorry," Beca frowned.

Chloe quickly shook her head. "You have nothing to be sorry for, I came in here so I could apologize to you. I completely over reacted and if it wasn't for my family I would have never seen it that way," she frowned. "I have no idea what came over me."

"I do," Beca turned onto her side and propped her head up and to get a better look at her wife. "I think our past makes us a bit more sensitive to everyday situations like this. It's not something we can help and when we have kids, we're probably going to be those crazy over protective parents we always swore we'd never be," She finished.

Chloe couldn't help but smile at her wife's words. "I mean assuming you would want to try with me again." Beca quickly replied realizing what she had said.

Chloe bit her lip as she admired how adorable the other woman gets when she's nervous. "Beca," Chloe brought her face closer to the brunette. "I'm not ready to try for kids just yet." She started, making the other woman look down in disappointment. "But when I am," Chloe lifted Beca's chin with her fingers. "You'll be the one raising them with me." She finished.

And just as if it was some romantic cheesy fan fiction, both women slowly leaned in gently pressing their lips together, sharing a long and passionate kiss. Chloe hummed in content as she pulled away, biting her lip. "I forgot how much you can take my breath away; it feels like it's been forever."

"Yeah," Beca smiled at her wife. "It really does."

-December 2019-

Beca could feel a heavy weight in her chest as she pulled her car into the driveway of hers and Chloe's home.

Home, home was supposed to be a place you felt happy and safe in. Not a place you spent most of your day avoiding like a teenager going through puberty in high school.

She took her time getting out of her car and walking her way up their driveway. She finally entered her house and was surprised to see Chloe standing in front of her, dressed up. "Chlo," Beca said shocked.

"Aubrey is dragging us to the bar." Chloe filled her wife in, knowing she'd be confused.

"Not tonight," Beca sighed. "I'm exhausted from work and…"

"Of course," Chloe rolled her eyes.

"Here we go."Beca muttered.

"No it's not here we go Beca, it's here I go because god forbid we ever go anywhere together anymore." Chloe stated.

"And whose fault is that?" Beca snapped, surprising the other woman. Chloe had gotten into a very depressed state since she and Beca had lost their child eight months back and as much as Beca tried, she was not able to make it better for her, somehow she only seemed to make it worse.

"Oh are you putting this on me now? That's really nice of you Beca." Chloe retorted.

"That's not fair. That is not what I meant and you know it!" Beca's voice rose, along with her temper.

Chloe went to reply but was interrupted by a car's horn outside. She stared at Beca for what felt like an eternity before finally opening her mouth to reply. "Well," Chloe started. "This is your last chance, Beca. Are you in or are you out?" She asked intensely.

"Out," Beca replied. She then looked at Chloe and could see something different in her eyes, something she couldn't quite point out, something that probably should have made her worry. But because she was already exhausted and upset, whatever it was didn't stop her from turning on her heels and walking the opposite way, regretting everything that had just happened. She cringed as she heard the door slam behind her, mentally kicking herself.

"You did it again, Mitchell." Beca whispered to herself as she walked to the kitchen to pour herself a glass of scotch.

-Present 2019-

Beca and Chloe were in a very deep sleep, wrapped around each other's bodies. It was not even 8am when Charlotte barged into their room screaming.

"It's Christmas Eve," Charlotte screamed, making both women jump.

"Good morning to you too Charlotte," Beca groaned, making Chloe giggle.

"Did you guys hear me? It's Christmas Eve! Santa literally comes in five hours!" She squealed.

"Not quite five hours kiddo, but nice try." Beca muttered, earning herself a slap from Chloe.

"Well then, shouldn't you be getting ready for his arrival?" Chloe smiled tiredly at her niece.

Charlotte's jaw dropped as the realization dawned on her of how much she had to do in such little time. "Good point," she replied before quickly turning around and running out.

"Alright,"Beca yawned. "I guess we should be getting up." She went to get out of bed but was immediately stopped by a pair of arms.

"Not so fast," Chloe mumbled into her wife's ear.

Beca looked back at wife and was suddenly met with a pair of lips, followed by a pair of very touchy feely hands, which came as a surprise to Beca. She and Chloe had not been intimate for nearly six months; so to say sex was the last thing on Beca's mind would be a bit of a lie.

Just as Chloe had moved herself on top of Beca straddling her hips, they were interrupted once again, but this time by someone they had not expected to see whatsoever.

"Now normally this would be something to completely gross me out, but after everything that's happened this last year I have to say nothing makes me happier." The voice shocked both women and nearly made Chloe fall off the bed.

"Aubrey," Chloe had to wipe her eyes to make sure what she was seeing was real.

"The one and only," Aubrey replied with a giant smirk plastered on her face, crossing her arms.

-December 2019 (same night)-

Beca lied awake in her bed, staring at the wall in front of her. It was nearly 1am and Chloe was still not home from her night out. However, before Beca had the chance to run any ridiculous scenarios through her head, she heard the front door open.

"Beca,"a voice yelled.

It took Beca was seemed like .5 seconds to jump out of bed and run downstairs. "What's wrong?" A very protective Beca replied. As much as she and Chloe stopped getting along, not a day went by where Beca didn't watch over Chloe, whether the other woman knew it or not.

"We need to talk," Chloe's eyes were bloodshot as she stared at the brunette.

"Okay…and this can't wait until tomorrow morning?" Beca raised an eyebrow.

Chloe shook her head and headed towards the kitchen. "It can't…I can't."

"You can't what?" Beca's heart started to pound, fearing where this conversation was going. Had Chloe cheated on her?

"I'm not happy," Chloe turned back around and looked at her wife, who just stood there speechless. "I'm not happy and neither are you."

"What do you mean? We're just going through a rough patch, once the rough patch is over everything will go back to normal again." Beca was truly confused at this point.

"No, you have to be delusional to think we could ever go back to normal." Chloe argued. "Ever since the miscarriage things just haven't been the same. Each day they get worse and worse and I'm at the point where I finally see clearly for the first time in eight months."

Beca took a step towards Chloe, making her take two back. "Beca stop, we can't." Tears started to form in Chloe's eyes.

Beca froze as she watched Chloe wipe the tears from her eyes. Her heartbeat sped up even more than before. She could feel what was coming, and as much as she wanted to just turn around and run the other way; she knew there was no fighting it. It's funny; she had played scenarios in her head hundreds of times to set herself up, in case it ever happened. But here's the thing about scenarios, no matter how many times you play it out in your head, how you think you're going to feel if it ever happens, or how you make yourself feel when you think about it, It's always going to feel 1000X's worse.

Finally Beca had mustered up the courage to ask the one question she knew she would regret asking. "We can't what?" She replied quietly, feeling a lump taking up half of her throat.

"Beca, we can't go on doing this anymore." Chloe replied what seemed like an hour later.

"Doing what?" Beca's entire body began to shake as everything around her started to close in. No matter how bad she and Chloe had been doing, she was not ready to face whatever was about to come.

"Pretending to be happy and in love when we're not." The tears stained Chloe's cheeks as she practically forced herself to finish what she had started.

"Chloe…what are you trying to say?"

"I…I want a divorce."

It was then at that moment that Beca had thought back to when Chloe left the house just a few hours earlier.

*"Well," Chloe started. "This is your last chance, Beca. Are you in or are you out?" She asked intensely.*

*"Out," Beca replied.*

-Present day 2019-

"Oh my god," Chloe quickly got off the bed and ran to the other woman. "What are you even doing here?" She practically knocked Aubrey over as she hugged her tightly.

"Yeah dude, I have to say out of all things I could imagine myself waking up to this morning, you did not once cross my mind." Beca got out of bed as well and approached her, giving her an awkward Beca like hug.

"As much as that pains me to hear Beca, I think I'm okay with that." Aubrey retorted.

"Okay but seriously, what are you doing here?" Chloe raised an eyebrow.

"I came to see how my plan was unfolding, obviously." She smiled deviously.

"What?" Beca and Chloe both replied in sync.
