Disclaimers: As much as I may want to claim ownership of these two productions, I can't because both Harry Potter and One Piece belong to a whole lot of different companies that I can't remember the names of at the moment. Any characters that appear in this fic that are not a part of either original series, belong to me so don't take them without asking first.

Timeframe: The Harry Potter part of the storyline in the prologue takes place the summer before the start of Harry's second year at Hogwarts; while the One Piece part of the prologue takes place twenty-four years before the series starts, making Harry to be in his early thirties when he returns, while only two years have gone by back home in the Harry Potter universe. I'm also making it so that Harry and everyone he would have known in Hogwarts in his first year are all born in the 1990's instead of the 1980's.

Author'sNotes: Okay, so to clarify things, thanks to Dobby, Harry gets sent to the One Piece world during the summer before Harry's second year at Hogwarts, with amnesia and has been deaged a few years. He gets found by Whitebeard and joins his crew, and thanks to his amnesia is renamed Marco, and later gets the Mythical Phoenix Zoan Devil Fruit just like canon Marco did.

To My Reviewers:
To all of the reviewers who asked for the titles of stories I asked for help looking for at the end of my last chapter: Check out the bottom of this chapter for the titles of at least two of the stories I'm looking for. The Black Butler one is there.

Koper: No promises. Ginny was never really my favorite character, and it always seemed suspicious to me that after five to six years of NOT noticing her, and mooning over OTHER girls, suddenly the two of them are together? Especially since in one book Molly was BRAGGING to Hermione and Ginny about how she had managed to snag Arthur away from the other girls in school by pumping him full of love potions, and had even offered to teach the two girls how to make the potion themselves.

Plus what kind of guy actually wants a girl who EVERYBODY keeps REPEATEDLY telling him would be a perfect match for him, simply because THEY see him and Ginny as mirror images of Lily and James when they are together back when his parents were still alive? That alone should turn him away from Ginny, because what kind of guy would want a girl who everybody says reminds them of HIS mother and not be creeped out by the concept, especially IF he had grown up with his parents IF they had survived Voldemort's attack all those years ago? lol If their roles were reversed, I think even Ginny should be a little creeped out by this too, if she wasn't such a fangirl. lol

Besides I also think Harry deserves the right to be with somebody who loves him and only him, and not because they claim to love him because of his status as the boy who lived. Ginny's the perfect a stalker girlfriend, who openly admits that she's dreamed her entire life of being the new Mrs. Harry James Potter, all because of make believe fairytales that were written in Harry's honor over the years before his return the magical world. She didn't know Harry at all yet says she wanted to marry him without even getting to know the real him, the him who's nothing like what those fairytales portray him as? For all she knew, the real Harry Potter could have been a bully or a guy who beats up on girls or a total playboy and womanizer, or even gay, or something worse yet she still wants to be his future wife no matter what? How's a guy, who sees nothing but hero worshiping fangirls all around him in the way they stare at him since day one of him re-entering the magical world, supposed to truly know if the girl he really loves him for the person he is in real life, and not 'love him' because of some kind of imaginary fantasy image she's dreamt up of him being like which probably doesn't match up to the person he truly is? And with mind altering spells and potions out there, what guarantee does he have that they ladies won't use spells or potions to try and 'change him' to fit THEIR dream idea of who THEY want him to be instead of accepting the person he is now?

Ddragon21: Oh yeah. Ginny's definitely going to throw a fit over the fact that the 'boy' she's been crushing on is no longer available. Though technically since he's been missing since before her first year at Hogwarts, they've never really met beyond those brief few seconds outside Kings Cross before Harry's first year, so he wouldn't feel anything for her anyway even if he did get his memories back.

He also wouldn't really care if her feelings are hurt over the matter or not since she was a virtual stranger to him even before he lost his memories. As an adult, all he's going to see now when he looks at Ginny Weasley is a really annoying, immature young stalker fangirl who's half his age who's bothering him about something that's NEVER going to happen between them as far as he's concerned even if he wasn't already with Robin. lol So will a lot of other girls, especially when they see the kind of man he's grown up to become while he was missing.

The Phoenix Requiem
Chapter 4: I'm Harry Who? The Name's Marco
By: Sakura Lisel
======================================

-~Hogwarts Grounds, Black Lake, October 23, 2006-~

Back on shore, the crowd of witches and wizards was getting agitated, as they tried to discuss what they were going to do about the unexpected arrival of what appeared to be a pirate ship on Black Lake shortly after Harry Potter's name had come out of the Goblet of Fire.

Some of the people who were gathered were speculating and voicing their opinions on whether or not their missing savior might be somewhere onboard the pirate ship, since the goblet of fire had summoned it from where ever it was before, while others were trying to decide whether or not whoever was on board was a threat to all of them and their students and how they would handle the situation if the people onboard truly were a danger to them.

Everyone that was gathered on the shoreline had heard of pirates, and the sight of the black flag with the skull and crossbones emblem, that had a drawing of a long white mustached where the nose would have been, and flaming blue and green wings behind the skull, on it sent shivers through the bodies of everyone who had seen it. Who hadn't heard of pirates? Just like in the muggle world, there were legends even in the magical world about pirates and what they were capable of and how dangerous they truly were and were considered to be ruthless barbarians bent on destruction, and nobody there really wanted to tangle with the ones onboard the pirate ship unless they truly had to, without putting their young charges in danger if the pirates chose to retaliate.

The three headmasters of the schools participating in the Triwizard tournament had their students, who had followed them out of the castle to see what was going on for themselves, escorted back into Hogwarts to wait inside the Great Hall until they were told otherwise to do anything else, and the students had reluctantly followed orders as they marched back into the castle by Rubeus Hagrid and Argus Filch, while Albus had his hands full being confronted by the other two headmasters from the visiting schools.

"What is the hell is this, Dumbledore?! Is this some kind of trick you're trying to pull?" Headmaster Igor Karkaroff of Durmstrang Institute of Magic demanded as he glared angrily at the older headmaster in irritation as he shot a worried look at the new ship that was now anchored in Black Lake not that far from Durmstrang's own ship, as he wondered if he should relocate his ship just in case before returning his mind to what was happening now, "first Hogwarts cheats by somehow having two Champions names being summoned from the Goblet of Fire, but now this, this pirate ship has appeared?! The tournament hasn't even started yet, and already Hogwarts is cheating to win it."

"I will have you know, Headmaster Karkaroff that Hogwarts had nothing to do with the events that transpired tonight during the selection ceremony," Albus said defensively as he turned his gaze onto the other two headmasters as they glared at him with pure anger at what happened earlier that night, "I was just as surprised by the outcome as everyone else who witnessed what transpired in the Great Hall."

"It does seem to be very suspicious, Dumblydore," Madame Olympe Maxime, the half giant headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic declared just as angrily, as she stood over the two smaller men, as she focused her angry gaze on Albus, looking at the older man as if she was searching for any sign that he was lying, before letting out a huff of irritation, as she starts looking around for something, "This Harry Potter boy, has obviously cheated his way into the tournament and needs to be properly punished for his misdeed. Where is the boy anyways?"

"Harry Potter shall not be 'punished' for anything, because I can assure you that there is no way he had anything to do with the fiasco that took place tonight, since he's officially been missing from our world since the summer after his first year here at Hogwarts back in the year 2002. So the very idea that the two of you are implying that young Harry Potter," Albus said sincerely as he watched the shocked and wide eyed looks that quickly appeared on the other two headmasters faces at his announcement as he quickly continued speaking before either Karkaroff or Maxime could say anything more, "personally had a hand in 'cheating' his way into the tournament is both laughable and highly unlikely since he would need to actually be here on campus in order to do so to begin with, which means somebody else put his name in the goblet of fire and forced it to spit out his name to make him compete though it should be well known fact by now that he's been missing for the last three years. Until tonight we had no idea where he even was."

"What do you by 'until tonight' you didn't have any idea where he is?" Madame Maxime demanded, as she felt her anger at the situation slowly start to melt away at the news and proof that there was no way to Harry could have possibly put his name in the goblet, "what has changed tonight that makes you say that?"

"You both saw what happened tonight after Harry's name came out. It's because of that pirate ship over there. The fact that the goblet of fire summoned it here almost immediately after Harry's name was called out which indicates that Harry," Albus said, as he waved a hand at the ship in question, causing the other two headmasters to turn their attention back on the pirate ship with wide eyes as understanding hit them at what Albus was telling them, "has to be onboard that ship, if my guess is right as I'm sure it must be. After all these years we finally have an idea of where he might be. That white owl all of us saw flying towards it just confirmed things as well, because it belongs to Mr. Potter and she must have sensed that her young master has returned and has returned to him."

"If the boy truly is onboard that ship as you claim, then what are you planning to do?" Karkaroff asked, as he felt his own anger starting to disappear as he stared at Albus curiously.

"As this is a Hogwarts matter, you do not need to concern yourself with our problems. The two of you should return to your own students and see them situated for the night," Albus said as he gave the other two headmasters an indulgent grandfatherly smile, as he waved a hand at them as if to shoo them off in a clear dismissal, as he turned his gaze back on the pirate ship once more, "I'm sure that both of you have a very busy day tomorrow and need your rest as do we."

"Fine have it your way, Dumbledore. Please keep us appraised about the situation later," Karkaroff said with a slight huff of irritation as he glared back at the older wizard for a moment, before turning his heel and marching back towards the castle, with Madame Maxime right behind him.

While others didn't think the pirates could be a threat to them at all, as the same time the witches and wizards were discussing the sudden appearance of a gigantic blue and green flamed phoenix that had appeared out of nowhere from somewhere onboard the ship to save the ship from plummeting to the ground after the Goblet of Fire had left it hanging in the air a few hundred feet straight up above the Black Lake, before the phoenix disappeared from sight as soon as the boat was safely settled down in the water, as the gathered magicals tried to decide that the pirates couldn't be that horrible if they had a Light creature like a phoenix onboard with them.

Albus Dumbledore was busy contemplating the situation as he started making up plans on handle things. If Harry Potter truly was onboard the ship, they needed to get onboard so that they could retrieve him.

'Harry must be onboard that ship. Why else would the goblet of fire have brought it here otherwise almost as soon as Harry's name came out of it? Plus the fact that Hedwig appeared and headed straight for the boat is another sign that her master is there. If young Harry truly is onboard that pirate ship,' Albus thought silently to himself, ignoring the conversations going on around him by his staff and visitors, as a determined look appeared on his wizened face, as he thought up a plan to try and handle the situation without anyone getting hurt, as he glowered at the pirate ship in displeasure at the current situation, 'then I must pull out all stops to get him away from those unsavory individuals. He has a reputation as the savior of the magical world to uphold. I wonder what the poor boy is doing with pirates to begin with? Well no matter. Once we have Harry safely in hand, we can deal with the pirates afterwards. And I will capture that beautiful phoenix I saw as well and make it my own. Fawkes can have some company in my office when I'm not around. A majestic Light creature such as that doesn't belong with a bunch of bloodthirsty cutthroats like pirates...'

"This is truly typical Potter behavior. It's like I always say, that the brat is just like his father, causing trouble and making people to worry needlessly about him, when he's probably been having a grand old time all these years," Severus Snapes sneering voice said as he walked up to the headmaster as he glared hatefully at the pirate ship that was anchored in Black Lake, as his black robes billowed behind him as he walked, as he crossed his arms across his chest as he glowered at the pirate ship, "Though if the brat is indeed onboard that pirate ship, since the goblet of fire brought it here, he has a lot of explaining to do about where he's been for the past three years."

"Severus Snape will you be quiet for once in your life! That's no way to talk about Harry, after he's been missing all these years! I wish you would get over your petty grudge on the poor boy who has done nothing to you to personally earn it," Minerva snapped angrily as she and a few other teachers also came forward to stand by Severus and Albus' side, as she shot the younger man a dark look that seemed to almost dare him to contradict her on the matter who huffed a bit in irritation but remained quiet for the time being, before she turned a worried gaze on the pirate ship on the lake, just as torches could be seen lighting up onboard the ship to illuminate the deck and they could see the silhouettes of multiple people milling around the ship's deck, before turning her gaze on Albus, "Albus do you think its possible Harry might be on that ship? The chances that he could be are astronomical. Though I'm worried about the company he's been keeping for the last three years if those truly are pirates he's hanging out with."

"We'll handle the situation as delicately as possible, Minerva. If Mr. Potter is indeed onboard that ship as I suspect," Albus said calmly as he glanced over at his deputy headmistress for a moment, as he gave her a reassuring grandfatherly smile, as he reached into his robes sleeve and retrieved his wand from its holster, "Then properly retrieving him will need to be handled carefully, because there is no telling what may happen if we do this improperly. Alastor, Poppy, Minerva, Severus I would like the three of you to accompany onboard the pirate ship. Poppy's services as a healer might of use on board in case anyone was badly injured when the ship started falling from the sky."

"Of course I'm coming along, Albus, as if I'm going to miss out on this," Alastor Moody said with a grunt as he glowered at his longtime friend for a moment, as his magical false eye whizzed and whirred in its socket as he scanned the area in the direction of the boat, "You'll need all the help you can get on this."

"All right, Albus. I'm more than eager to go see Mr. Potter as well. I hope he is doing well after all these years," Minerva said, nodding her head in agreement to what the headmaster had just said, as worry filled her over the thought about what her missing Gryffindor cub might have been through over the last three years, and what the pirates could have done to him in that time, as her hand tightened on her wand as she pulled it out, "If those pirates have harmed him any way, I swear I'll make them suffer for it personally."

"All right, Albus, but we might have to wait a bit. I need to head back to the hospital wing to get any needed supplies I might require," Poppy said, as a frown appeared on her features at what Albus had just said, before she turned on her heel and started making her way back up the path towards the school to get the things she needed after getting the headmasters approval.

"Why the hell do I have to go onboard as well?! I refuse! I'm not setting foot on that ship even for a second, whether the brats onboard or not," Severus demanded angrily, as he glared rebelliously at Albus for a moment as his eyes narrowed suspiciously at the older man, "I am more than sure that you can handle the situation without my assistance, headmaster with simply just Minerva and Poppy at your side. I have more important things to do."

"Severus I truly must have to insist that you accompany us. Your refusal to come is neither welcome or needed because you will come along nonetheless," Albus said cheerfully in a grandfatherly tone in his voice, though the hidden sternness in his madly twinkling eyes could be seen by Severus as he stared at the younger man for a moment as he gave Severus his best disappointed look that caused Severus to flinch a bit, "we may need your expertise in this situation, if we are to retrieve Mr. Potter safely. As soon as Poppy returns with the required supplies, the four of us shall apparate on over to the ship."

For a few minutes, Severus glared mutinously at Albus for a bit, his face looking so pinched like he had just sucked on a really sour lemon drop candy, before he reluctantly agreed to go along with the others to pay a visit to the pirate ship.

-~Archimedes Battleship, Black Lake - October 23, 2006-~

Just then they all heard a loud hooting sound, and looked around to find a snowy white owl with golden eyes and a few black specks on her white feathers, perched a nearby railing behind the crew as it looked at each crew member with what seemed to be a critical look in its eyes as if it was searching for something.

"An owl? What's it doing on the ship for?" one of the crew members asked as everyone turned their attention on the owl, "where did the blasted thing even come from to begin with?"

"Don't ask me. I'm clueless too." Another crew mate said in response.

"Is it just me or does it look like it's looking for something the way it's looking around?" another crew mate asked, as the unknown owl continued to look around for a moment, as she seemed to be looking directly at each male crew member with an intense look on her avian features.

"Somebody should make it go away. We have enough problems with birds on board, we don't need to add owls to the problem," another crew member growled out angrily for a moment.

As the crew voiced their opinions about why the owl was onboard their ship, Robin stood by Marco's side as they stared at the owl with thoughtful looks on their features.

"What do you think of the owl, Marco? I don't think it's even a wild owl with the way its acting." Robin asked, as she glanced over her at her captain for a moment, just as the owl flew off its perch and landed closer to the group of pirates to look them over some more, "Marx is right, it does seem to be searching for something onboard."

"I don't know what it could possibly be looking for onboard our ship. I've never seen it before now. Just leave it for now, as long as it doesn't cause any trouble, it'll go away on its own." Marco said with a slight shrug of his shoulders as he stared at the owl for a few moments longer in confusion, as he doubted his own words, because the longer that he stared at the owl, he had a niggling feeling in the back of head that seemed to be trying to tell him that he did know the owl before him, but he wasn't sure how or why, and the feeling wouldn't go away the longer the owl was there, "Though I don't know. There's something about this owl..."

Just then the owl turned its gaze fully onto Marco as it seemed to give up on whatever it was looking for in the other crew members, and as their eyes met, causing Marco to stop speaking and to stiffen a bit as pain suddenly filled his head, as his eyes close for a moment to try and block out the sudden pain that was now filling his head as he closed his eyes for a moment to try and block it out.

-~Flashback-~

Marco didn't know how long he had his eyes closed, as the pain in his head finally started to recede for a moment, before he finally opened his eyes once more only to look at his surroundings in shock.

As he looked around at his surroundings, Marco could already tell he was no longer onboard the Archimedes ship, but what appeared to be some kind of unfamiliar looking marketplace with buildings and faceless people of all ages dressed in what looked to be bathrobes walking around him. He couldn't really tell exactly where he was, because everywhere he looked everything was all white, and the signboards from the shops seemed to be blurred out so he couldn't make out what they said when he looked directly at them. He also noticed that he seemed a lot shorter than all of the faceless people who were walking around him.

'What the hell happened?! Where am I and what happened to the ship and everybody else? Did that owl do something to me?' Marco thought frantically to himself, as he stared curiously at the oddly dressed faceless people, as he glanced over at a nearby building and saw his reflection, and saw a scrawny young boy with black haired wearing broken glasses and raggedy clothes that looked to be several sizes too big for him staring back at him in the store windows reflective surface, causing him to reach up to his face to touch the glasses and he could almost feel it against his fingertips and he reached down to touch the clothes he was wearing and saw his reflection doing the same thing, 'Why am I looking like a kid again? It looks like me, but I've never looked like that before and I've never worn eyeglasses before either...'

As the faceless people continued to walk around him as he watch them pass him by in confusion, when he suddenly felt a large hand land on his shoulder, causing him to jump in surprise and spin around, to find another faceless figure, who looked to be almost as tall as Whitebeard, standing behind him holding a cage that contained a familiar looking owl in his hands. At first seeing the man behind him put Marco on the defensive, but then he forced himself to relax as something deep down told him whoever the unknown man was wasn't going to hurt him, but Marco had no idea where the feeling was coming from.

"Happy birthday, -! I really hope you like her. The pet store owner said she would make the perfect pet for you. You can use her to send out and receive mail from whoever you write to," the man's voice was saying in a heavily accented voice as he held out the bird cage towards Marco who instantly took the offered gift, though the name the man was calling Marco seemed to be blocked out like everything else, "I bought her especially for you on your special day, and to help welcome you back into our world..."

"Thanks a lot, -! I love her already. Hi, I'm -, and I guess I'm your new owner as of right now." Marco found himself saying, as he felt his lips moving on their own as he spoke, though like before he couldn't hear the names that were being used, as he stared down at the owl as she stared back at him with intense golden eyes, as Marco started to feel a smile starting to form on his lips as the owl hooted back at him as he poked a finger through the bars of the cage and the owl took a gentle bite out of it, "I'll take really good care of you I promise."

"What are you going to name her, -? The store owner said she doesn't have a name yet," the unknown man asked, as he watched the exchange between boy and owl, as Marco had a feeling that the faceless man was grinning proudly down at him, "so you are more than free to name her whatever you want her name to be."

"I already have a good name for her, -. I saw it in a book I was reading when I was waiting for you," memory Marco was saying, as he glanced back up at the unknown man after thinking for a few seconds, as he felt his smile widen some more, "I'll name her..."

Just as the name was coming to him, Marco noticed that the area around him was starting to fade away, as he started to hear his name being called by familiar voices that sounded far away to his ears.

-~End Flashback-~

-~Archimedes Battleship, Black Lake - October 23, 2006-~

"Marco? Marco?! Can you hear me? Come on wake up! I don't want to have to do this but..."

Robin's voice anxious voice called repeatedly, breaking through the fog that was filling Marco's mind, as he slow, as he felt himself being roughly shaken as the voices of Robin and the rest of his crew finally reached his ears, followed by several sharp slaps to his face as his name was called again.

"What the hell, Robin?! What was that for?!" Marco exclaimed angrily, as he held his now throbbing face in his hands, blinking his eyes for a moment as he glared angrily at his girlfriend as she let out a relieved sigh once she saw that he was awake, as she canceled out the five extra arms and hand that she had created with her devil fruit power which she had used to slap him with, as a petulant looking frown appeared on his lips, "Why the hell did you hit me for?!"

"I hit you to wake you up! When that owl showed up, you suddenly stiffened up when the owl looked at you and then then you started staring off into space with this blank look on your face, and you wouldn't respond to us anymore," Robin exclaimed angrily, causing Marco to pause for a moment in his own anger, as he stared back at Robin in confusion, as he glanced at the rest of the crew to see all of them were nodding their heads in agreement to what she had just said, "We thought something was seriously wrong with you, and hitting you was a last ditch idea when everything else we tried failed."

"I was staring off into space? For how long?" Marco asked, confusion filling his voice, as he turned his gaze towards a certain snowy owl who was now staring directly back at him with an almost questioning look in her golden eyes, before he turned away to look back at the others and ignored the owl for the moment, "Did anything else happen while I was out of it?"

"You were completely out of it for a few minutes, Captain, before Robin finally resorted to smacking you to wake you up," one of the crew members said, worry still filling his voice as he and the others looked Marco over, "You had us all worried there for a moment there, Captain. How are you feeling? Sure we get the ships doctor to come check you out?"

"I'm fine though a bit of a headache is forming because of whatever happened?" Marco said, flinching a bit as he clutched his aching face and head, as he closed his eyes for a moment, "I can't describe what happened exactly, but I don't think it was something really bad other than the headache..."

"That blasted owl did something to you! Let's get rid of it before it does something else!" another crew member exclaimed angrily, as he pulled out one of his guns and took aim at the owl, fully prepared to end its life right there and then.

As what his crew mate just said caught up with Marco's confused mind, his eyes snap open as an unfamiliar sense of protectiveness filled him, as he saw the crew mate point his gun at the owl, as he felt anger begin to fill him though he wasn't completely sure where it was coming from.

"Belay that idea, Wilson! Nobody is to harm that owl!" Marco snarled out heatedly surprising himself and everyone else on board by his declaration, and causing Wilkins to falter a bit in confusion as he turned bewildered look on Marco for a moment, as Marco shook his head for a moment as if to clear it, "She didn't hurt me at all. I think I know her, and nobody's is to hurt her, do all you understand?! She's my owl!"

"What do you mean by your owl, Marco? Didn't you just finish saying you never saw her before now?" Robin asked, as she reached out to touch his shoulder in concern, as she saw the look in his eyes, before her eyes widen in surprise as his long blond hair started to darken and return to its natural black color, as her eyes narrowed a bit in worry, "Marco, your shifting your hair back to black again."

"I know, Robin. I don't know how to explain it properly, but I know this owl. When our eyes met, I had a vision. Or maybe it's a memory I don't really know," Marco said as he shrugged his shoulders as he reached up with one hand to brush back his now black hair for a moment in exasperation, as his frown deepens a bit as he stares at the owl, "In the vision, somebody gave her to me as a gift. They said she was to be my birthday present and also a welcome back gift. Though after all these years, why is my memories coming back now?"

"If your memory was triggered by this owl, maybe she means something to you," Robin said reassuringly, as she looked from Marco to the owl and back, as a contemplative look appeared on her features for a moment as she tried to figure things out, "but that would mean your originally from around here, where ever here is."

"Whatever it was, that owl is the only clue I have," Marco said determinately, as a stubborn look appeared on his features once more.

"If she's really yours, Captain Marco, then what's her name? Or doesn't she have one?" Wilson asked, suspicion filling his voice as he stared at Marco doubtfully for a moment, as he reluctantly put away his pistol back into its holster.

"Her name is Hedwig, that's about all I can I remember about her, and..." Marco said automatically, as the name came to him instantly as soon as he was asked the question, then let out a startled yelp, as Hedwig let out a loud screech suddenly took to the air and dive bombed him, with her talons causing him to immediately duck before she reached him and started backing away from the now enraged owl as she flew at him, "Now Hedwig. If that's really your name there's need to be mad, girl. I don't even know why you're mad at me to begin with..."

"I knew I should have shot the blasted bird!" Wilson exclaimed angrily as he started to pull out his gun again, but the look Marco shot at him stopped him in his tracks, "But captain..."

"Don't you dare, Wilson! I'll handle this myself," Marco exclaimed, as he dodged another aerial attack from Hedwig, as Wilson and the others reluctantly took a step back and settled in to watch their captain try and deal with the angry owl.

This went on for a while before the two of them finally tired, and Hedwig sat on a nearby railing sulking a bit with her back turned to Marco as she tried to catch her breath, "I think she's just mad about whatever happened that got me sent away from her."

"Are you finally calmed down and done attacking me yet? Or do you want another go at me and claw and peck me to death?" Marco asked cheerfully, though he was still worried as he stared at Hedwig for a moment, as he figured that she might be able to understand him seeing her reaction when he had said her name earlier, as the owl turned her body around on the railing to face him after a few seconds to glare at him once more before finally hooting and bobbing her head in agreement that she was finished trying to attack him, "Good. So does this mean we are we friends again?"

Another hoot came from Hedwig, as Marco hesitantly held out his gloved hand towards her, and Hedwig instantly climbed onto the outstretched arm, and he brought his arm closer to his body, and let Hedwig cuddle against him, as he gently ran a hand through her soft white feathers.

'This feels so familiar, and I can't believe I actually forgot about her. Though at the same time it seems impossible,' Marco thought silently to himself as he continued to pet Hedwig gently, as a slow smile crept to his lips, as he heard Hedwig hooting happily in his arms, as a confused look appeared on his features for a moment, as his eyes narrowed a bit, 'Seeing the age I looked like in the memory, I know I've never seen her before, yet why did it show up when it did? What happened to me before I lost my memories all those years ago?'

"That's a weird turn around, Marco. One second she seems to want to tear you apart, and now she's acting like nothing wrong," Robin said as she moved over towards Marco and Hedwig, as the black haired man turned his gaze on her as he took his eyes off of Hedwig for a moment, "I guess she really is your pet.

"To me, she's not just a pet. She's my friend. Though I think that I've just been thoroughly scolded by her when she 'attacked' me. She wasn't going to really hurt me despite it looked like. Plus she can understand what I say." Marco said, as his smiled widened a bit after a moment as he turned his gaze back down onto Hedwig who was now looking up at him curiously as she turned her gaze from Marco to Robin and back with a questioning hoot coming from her beak, as he set her on his lap so that she could get a better look at both Robin and himself, "Let me properly introduce the two of you. Hedwig this is Robin. She's important to me, so I would like you to get along with her okay?"

For a moment, Hedwig look at Robin for a few minutes as if appraising her, as her golden eyes seemed to be searching for something, before she suddenly flapped her wings and flew off of Marco's lap and landed on Robin's shoulder, startling the archeologist for a moment, before Robin giggled a bit when Hedwig starts cuddling against her neck and gently nipped Robin on the ear with her beak, causing Marco to laugh at the owl's antics.

"I think she's saying she approves, Robin," Marco said chuckling a bit at the look on his girlfriends face, as she reaches up to gently pet Hedwig as the owl rested on her shoulder.

"Great, just what I need is an owls approval for anything," Robin said sarcastically, though the wide smile on her face showed that she didn't really mean anything rude by what she said, though Hedwig did bite down hard on her ear in retaliation before flying back down to land on Marco's own shoulder, as the rest of the crew gathered around to inspect the newest member of the crew who indulgently let some of them pet her and feed her whatever treats they had on hand.

Just then there was the sound of several loud popping sounds onboard the ship that caught the attention of everyone onboard, as everyone quickly pulled out whatever weapons they had, or activated whatever Devil fruit powers they might have as they all turned in the direction of the popping sounds, to find a strangely dressed group of five unfamiliar people standing on the deck all wielding sticks in their hands like they were weapons.

One of the figures was an old man with a long beard dressed in ugly purple, green and orange colored robes who seemed to be the leader of the group, and next to him was a hook nosed man with long greasy looking black hair, and another man walking around with a cane and had a freaky looking false eye, while the remaining two intruders was a stern looking middle aged woman with graying hair, and a second woman who was dressed like a doctor or a nurse carrying a medical bag in her hands.

"All right whoever you are. What are you doing here onboard my ship," Robin demanded from her spot behind her crew, as she took charge for Marco who was still sitting on the hard floor of the deck, as he sat there and being careful to not jostle Hedwig as he stood up, as he let his black hair return to its blond color as he goes, "Your trespassing on private property and we could have the lot of you keelhauled for that."

"Hello everyone. Pardon the intrusion, and there is really no need for any form of violence but we come from the castle on the nearby shore over there and saw your arrival in our lake," the old man with the long beard said benevolently as he looked among the crowd of pirates as he ignored the guns that were pointing at them, "and have come to off our assistance if anyone was in need of medical help."

"We don't need your help. We already have our own doctors onboard to take care of our medical needs." One of the crew mates said, as a slight sneer appeared on his features as he looked at the five intruders for a moment, "But you still haven't answered our captains question, old man. Who are you people exactly?"

"I am Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardrdy," Albus said still smiling as much as ever as his eyes twinkled behind his glasses as he starts introducing his companions to the pirates, and starts pointing to each one as he said their names, "and these are my companions Alastor Moody, Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape and Poppy Pomfrey who is our schools resident healer."

"Fine. So other than offering us medical aid, is there something else you wanted? We're not going to cause trouble for you or your 'school' if that's what you are worried about," Robin said as she eyed Albus with a critical look in her eyes for a moment, as she held her own gun in hand towards the group of magicals, "We don't even have any idea how we came to be here to begin with. Otherwise you can leave and go back to where you came from."

"Actually maybe you can help me with something before we leave you for the night. Our school has been missing a student of ours for the last three years," Albus said calmly, as his eyes continued to twinkle merrily for a moment as he looked at Robin, though at the same time he looked angrily at the group of pirates as his eyes started searching the crowd once more, "we have a reason to believe he might be onboard your ship. He's should be around fourteen by now with messy black hair, green eyes with a lightning bolt shaped scar on his forehead, and answers to the name Harry James Potter."

"We don't have any kids onboard our ship, Mr. Dumbledore. Everyone here is well into their twenties, and especially none of them are named Harry James Potter or match the description you just gave," Robin said as her eyes narrowed a bit in confusion at what he had just said, as his description matched only one person on board the ship, and a quick glance at Marco and the others told her they had all realized the same thing, though the age description had to be wrong, "What makes you so sure that he's here onboard our ship, if you truly haven't seen him in over three years?"

"For you information, you foolish woman, the reason we know the brat is here is because its his being onboard that brought all of you here to begin with," Severus snapped angrily, irritation filling him at how much time they were wasting talking, when he just wanted to grab the boy and leave the ship as quickly as possible, "So stop stalling and bring the brat out so we can get going back to the castle."

"Not so fast pal, what do you mean exactly when you said its this Potter kids fault that we were brought here to begin with?" one of the crewmates demanded, as everyone turned their angry glares on Severus for his insult to Robin, causing Severus to wilt a bit under the looks he was getting, "how's that possible."

"Our school is having a tournament with two other schools, and during the selection ceremony to determine our Champions who will be representing our schools in the tournament, using a magical artefact called the Goblet of Fire, when Mr. Potters name came out of the goblet," Minerva said as she started to explain the situation to the group, as they all turned their attention on her as she started speaking, "and then seconds later the goblet started acting up and brought you and your ship here. The only way that could have happened is if Harry James Potter is somewhere onboard here. It's imperative that we speak to him and bring him back to the castle so he can be prepared so where is he?!"

"Like we said, there isn't any kids onboard answering to that name, so you need more proof than that," another crew member said dismissively.

"Did a snowy white owl appear on your ship? We saw her fly this way earlier. If she's hear then she's already found Harry then, because she's his familiar," Albus asked, as his eyes finally stopped twinkling as irritation began to fill his voice, at all of the interruptions to his planning, "once we see where Hedwig has gone off to, then we will have found our Mr. Potter and we'll be out of your hair and..."

"Don't bother, she's right here with me," Marco's voice called out, as he pushed himself to his feet with Hedwig still resting on his arm, as he pushed his way through his crew to stand before the magicals who were now staring at him in shock, "Though I believe you got the wrong guy."

"H-H-Harry? Harry Potter? Is that truly you my dear boy?" Albus asked as he stared incredulously at the obviously full grown adult man standing before him in disbelief. At first he hadn't thought the man before him was Harry Potter, but on closer inspection of his features, he could see James Potters face staring back at him with Lily Potter nee Evan's emerald green eyes, 'This is impossible. If this is really Harry Potter, why does he look so old after only three years? Where's the fourteen year old boy he should be right now?'

Similar thoughts were running through the minds of Albus' four companions as they all stared Marco in open shock as they recognized him as the one they were looking for.

"Merciful Merlin, what happened to you, Mr. Potter?" Minerva demanded, stifling a gasp of shock behind her left hand which was covering her mouth, "How are you so old?"

"I don't know what you people are talking about. My name isn't Harry James Potter. I've never seen you before in my life," Marco said dismissively as he crossed his arms over his chest as he pointedly looked the group over for a moment with a critical look in his eyes, "The name is Captain Marco D. Anders of the Whitebeard Phoenix Pirates, or Captain Anders to you. Now would one of you mind explaining why you think I'm this Harry Potter person?"

To be continued...

Author's Notes:
So what do you guys think? This chapter is completed at 15 pages. This is my third attempt at writing a Harry Potter crossover, involving One Piece. Please tell me what you think of it in reviews. Do you guys love it? Hate it? What? Though extremely rude flamers won't be tolerated. Please tell me what all of you think of this story of mine.

I couldn't remember exactly what was said or done the day Hagrid gave Hedwig to Harry/Marco on their first day in Diagon Alley in the original version of the Harry Potter series, so I improvised in the scene as I wrote it. So what do you guys think of Hedwig being the first one Marco starts to slightly remember from his old life in his home world? She was both his first birthday present and first best friend ever so I think she would mean more to him concerning memories at the moment.

I've decided that I majorly suck at writing accents, so please just assume that Hagrid and or anybody else who is supposed to have an accent IS speaking in an accent, even if it's not showing in the story itself. lol

Don't worry about my other stories. I know I haven't updated my older ones in a long time, but real life got the better of me, and I'm working on trying to get more than one story update out at once, at least before the end of December hopefully, and while working on the other stories, I wound up writing this one and completing it. Rather than wait for one of my other stories latest chapter to be finished like I originally planned, I decided to just put this story up now, while I'm thinking about it.

If anyone is interested in reading the stories I asked for in my last chapter, here's a list of story titles that people sent me for some of them. Thanks again everyone who helped out. Hopefully we can find the rest on the list. lol
