~Drifting Apart Chapter 5~

~Blossom's P.O.V~

Buzz Buzz

I retrieved my phone from my back pocket. My eyes widened when I read the text. I thought it over for a moment before pressing the keys on my phone.

*Miyako, tell me everything that happen. And relax, what are the chances of bumping into them? Its unlikely.* As I texted this, another message came up.

*I SWEAR IF I SEE THAT GREEN-EYED FAG, I'M RIPPING HIS THROAT OUT!* I sighed. Typical Kaoru.

*You can't do that, we have to stay low if the boys are around. Be on guard! Don't use violence unless needed.*

*Ugghhhh, fine. Whatever, but if he gets too close, he might be leaving this place without a limb.* Kaoru replied.

Finally, Miyako answered back. *It was like Boomer didn't even know me. When I was acting upset, he asked me what was wrong. I told him to leave or I'd call the police. Then he just left.* 'Hmm… that's interesting…' I thought to myself.

*Well… it seems that they've forgotten all about us. It's going to be easier for us to stay low. Avoid them at all costs, that's an order. I won't let those jerks ruin our vacation!* I quickly texted back.

*Got it, leader girl… by the way, have you seen Usa?* Kaoru asked.

*WHAT?! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH HER!* I yelled (in texting form).

*Whoops…*

*Look for her now!*

*KK, TTYL.*

I sighed and shook my head with a sweat drop on my forehead. I jumped when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hey have you happened to see-"

"Ah!" I screamed once I saw who it was. I punched him as hard as I can which sent him flying a few feet away.

"Stay away! I'll hurt you if you come any closer!" I shouted.

Brick groaned and stood up. He clutched his cheek and glared at me. "What the fuck?! Why would you do that? I just fucking met you!" 'Oh right… he doesn't remember me…'

"J-just stay away!" I ran away from him, trying to find my sisters and friends. I cringed. I can still remember the scars. I was running when I bumped into someone. I screamed again.

"Oh, hey there, I'm Butch, and you are?" the green-eyed ruff asked picking up my hand and placing a kiss on my knuckles.

"OH MY GOD! EW! GET AWAY FROM ME! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I screeched as I pulled my hand away and wiped my hand. Butch turned red from embarrassed, but he quickly hid it.

"Oh, you're feisty. I like it~" I shuddered.

"What's your number?" he asked getting closer.

"BLOODY MURDER!" I screamed out, not hesitating in running as fast as my legs could carry me.

After about three hours of hanging out while trying to find the others, I finally spotted someone I knew and didn't hate.

"MIYAKO!" I ran to the area we set up at.

"Oh my! The things I've experienced were so terrible!" I told said as I latched onto her. She rubbed my back.

"It's okay Momoko. Just tell me everything that happened."

~Miyako's P.O.V~

I dropped to the ground, laughing. "Ha-ha! Butch made a move on Momoko!" I yelled once Kaoru and Usa came into view. Kaoru's face turned dark.

"Did… Did he touch you?" Kaoru asked Momoko. Momoko hesitated before nodding.

"I'LL KILL HIM! NO ONE TOUCHES MY FUCKING FRIENDS AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Kaoru yelled waving her fist in the air.

"Kaoru, you need to chill. I pretty much embarrassed him in front of everybody here. He won't be going near me anytime soon." Momoko stated.

"Well, now that we're all together, how about we get back to the house. We can have a bonfire and tell scary stories!" our pink-eyed friend suggested.

"I'm in," the rest of us chimed.

"YOU!" yelled a voice. We all turned to see three Ruffs. Two of them were extremely pissed.

"You're the one that embarrassed me!"

"You're the one that punched me out of nowhere!"

"Ha-ha… I do not know anything you're talking about…"

"You're the reason he has the big bruise on his face? Good job, Momo!" Kaoru told Momoko. I can tell Kaoru was trying to stay calm. She really wanted to beat in Butch's face.

"Ha-ha, I know right! You should've been there! He went far!" she replied, forgetting the boys were there. Kaoru and Momoko fist bumped.

I hid behind Usa. I didn't want anything to do with those boys… especially after what they've done to us. "Are these the guys that hurt you?" Usa whispered to me. I simply nodded. She continued staring at them, but this time with a slight glare.

"Hey! We're still standing here!"

"Oh… hey, I completely forgot about you and your unimportant presence," Momoko said with a smug smile. The two elder ruffs glared at her.

"We need to get going. It's starting to get dark," she said picking up the basket.

"You're right, Momoko," Kaoru agreed. She put all of the surfboards in the back of the truck. Usa folded the blanket while I pulled out the umbrella and closed it.

After we were done getting all of our stuff, Momoko turned to the boys, who were surprisingly still standing there. She jumped into the driver's seat.

"I call shot gun!" shouted Usa. We all got into the car.

"I hope I never see you guys again, or it'd be too soon!" Momoko yelled out the window as we started to drive on the sand. She made a sharp turn causing sand to get all over the boys. I had to stifle a laugh. So far, this summer has been really interesting… and I have a feeling this is just the beginning.

I'm sorry it's short. I have more ideas in mind for the next chapter. Thanks to all of the people who are supporting this story!
