2 years later.
Santana was excited. After a year of dating, and 2 years of engagement, she was finally going to get married to the love of her life!
She stood in the dressing room, wearing her wedding gown and had flowers in her hand. Quinn, her maid of honor, and Rachel and Brittany, her bridesmaids, helped her get ready. Now, she stood alone, waiting for her dad before walking down the aisle.
"Are you ready, mija?" Her father asked as he entered.
He looks at his daughter. "You look so beautiful" he walks towards his daughter and kisses her cheek.
"Thank you, daddy" Santana says to her father.
"Are you nervous?"
Santana shakes her head. "I'm ready. I'm about to become Mrs. Smythe, and I can't wait."
She loops her hand into her father's arm, holding the bouquet of flowers in her other hand, and they proceed to walk out. She was so glad that her wedding was held outside by the ocean.
They slowly walk towards the aisle as Quinn, Blaine, Kurt, Rachel, Jeff, Brittany and Nick walk down. Soon, the wedding anthem began. The audience stood up and looked towards Santana and her father.
Santana looked up and saw Sebastian, as handsome as he is, in a black and white tuxedo and a black bowtie. She smiles at him, and he smiles back. She finally reaches him, and being traditional, Santana's father kisses her hand before placing it into Sebastian's. Santana steps up to the alter, hands her flowers to Quinn, and holds both of Sebastian's hands.
"You may now sit." the priest says, and everyone sits down.
"We are gathered here today in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy matrimony. I understand that these two have prepared vows. Sebastian?"
Sebastian cleared his throat before speaking.
"Santana, when I met you, you were the most conniving little bitchlet ever. I called you horrible nicknames, mainly 'Sha-Queer-A'" the audience and Santana laughed.
"After Regionals, you forgave me for what I had done and we became close, if not, best friends. Admitting my feelings to you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I'm glad I did it because I would not be standing here marrying you today."
"Very well said, Sebastian. Santana?" The priest says.
Santana wipes her tears away before she begins speaking.
"Sebastian, you were probably one of the most manipulative people that I had ever met. Calling you nicknames, such as 'Fievel', 'Twink', and our favorite, 'Andrew McCarthy',"
Sebastian smiles and laughs a little at this.
"We made it through together. My feelings for you had grown during the time when our friendship was developing. Entering a relationship with you was one of my best decisions ever, because now I can't live without you."
The priest steps up. "If there is anyone who may not wish to have these two together, speak now or forever hold your peace." When no one spoke, the priest continued on.
"Sebastian Smythe, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do" Sebastian says. He slips a ring onto Santana's finger.
"Santana Lopez, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do" Santana says. She slips a ring onto Sebastian's finger.
"I now pronounce you, man and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Sebastian smiles and steps closer before leaning in to kiss his now wife. Their kiss lasts 5 seconds before they pull apart. The audience stands and claps as the newly-wedded couple walk down the aisle hand in hand.
Sebastian and Santana honeymoon in Hawaii, where they make love in the wee hours of the morning.
A month later:
Santana paces around the washroom as she waits for the timer to go off. "Come on come on .." she thinks impatiently. Finally, the timer goes off. She closes her eyes and she slowly lifts up the stick. She opens them slowly and looks at the result.
Two bars.
Pregnant.
Santana cries from joy and slides down onto the washroom floor.
"Santana? Honey? Where are you?" Sebastian yells out.
"In here!"
She hears the door open and feels Sebastian pulling her into his embrace.
"Hey what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
Since she couldn't spew out words, she took out the pregnancy test and showed it to him. He looks at it for a minute and then ..
"Really? I'm going to be a dad?"
Santana nods happily. "You're going to be a dad"
Sebastian smiles down at her and kisses her eagerly as his own tears flow down from his face.
8 months later.
"You're almost there! Just a few more pushes!" the nurse yells out.
Santana pushes harder as she clutches both her husband's and Rachel's hand. Sebastian and Rachel are encouraging her to keep going, despite the pain they both feel from Santana's grasps.
"One more push!"
Santana gives it her all and pushes one last time. She hears a cry and hits her head against the pillow.
"Congratulations, it's a daughter! Would you like to see her?"
Santana and Sebastian nod happily. The nurse hands them their daughter.
"Hi baby. It's your mommy" Santana says, cooing.
"It's your daddy" Sebastian says as he touches his daughter's hand.
"What are you guys going to name her?" Rachel asks her as she stares at them in awe.
Santana and Sebastian look at each other and then nodded, as if they read each other's minds. The name from the song that started it all.
"Annie. Annie Marie Smythe."
A year later.
"Come on Annie, cooperate with daddy! Good girl" Sebastian says as he changes his daughter's diaper.
Santana steps out from the kitchen and stares at her husband and their daughter.
"My little family" she thinks as she stares at them playing. Sebastian looks up and sees her staring. Smiling, he gets up, carrying their daughter and walks over to his wife, giving her a kiss on the lips.
"I love you" he tells her.
"I love you too" she tells him, smiling.
"Thank you for giving me a chance"
"Thank you for everything."
