If Rapunzel is talking, she will refer to Eugene as Eugene, but if the narrator is talking he will be called Flynn :)

Mother Gothel's screams echoed in Rapunzel's ears. As she reached for her mother, all of their moments together flashed before her eyes.

I love you most

She knew her mother was dead, and she had to attend to the dying. She brushed a piece of Flynn's hair out of the way, as she attempted to save him, and failed.

She silently cried over him. A single tear fell onto his perfectly sculpted cheeks. The sun saved him, but it still failed to save Rapunzel's mother of 18 years.

Rapunzel and Flynn hugged and kissed each other and cried with each other.

"She-she fell and she" Rapunzel stuttered as she sobbed, trying to tell Flynn what happened to Mother Gothel. He just nodded and hugged her tightly. Even though he hated her for keeping Rapunzel captive and using her hair, she was her mother after all.

After Rapunzel calmed down a bit, Flynn grabbed her hand and they left the tower and hopped onto Maximus. They rode to the kingdom and Rapunzel didn't let go of Flynn's back the entire time.

They arrived at the palace gates and the guards stopped them.

"Rider? FLYNN RIDER!" the guard at the gate shouted. Rapunzel hopped off of Maximus and told the guard that she is the lost princess.

"Are you kidding? Do you know how many fakes we get here everyday. And you're with Flynn Rider, that proves you're a fake." The guard said and pushed her down. Rapunzel stumbled to the ground and Flynn came to help her up, but the guard didn't know that the queen was watching from her window. And a mother always recognizes her child.
