He's always just -t.h.o.u.g.h.t- she'd stay {his sweet little Lily}

F-o-r-e-v-e-r with her frilly dresses and ringlets and cheeky grins

But now she's all grown uP with skirts (too short) and tops (too low)

& there aren't anymore cheeky grins he thinks

as she shoots him a l.a.z.y smirk.

And maybe (just maybe)

If he wasn't so *old*

And she wasn't so y/o/u/n/g

And her daddy wouldn't kill him

Then m a y be (just maybe)

It could work

With her skirts (too short)

& tops (too low)

& lazy smirks (that are oh-so-gorgeous)
