Chapter 10: Light V.S. Darkness

Alright sorry I haven't updated this fanfic in AGES I honostly forgot I was still working on it! Anyways I would like everyone's input on a poll in my profile. The Question is "How well did I play out the Emotional Feelings in Icezer's death scene in the final Chapter of Harmonic Chaos Chronicles 5: Ancient Evils? If you have not read the chapter please read it first and tell me what 2 emotions you feel were present in the scene.

Anyway final fight time!

Last Time the remaining Smashers went to do battle against Christian who had brainwashed all of the defeated smashers and was taking their powers. After taking Rage's Chaos Energy Darkness gave it to Christain so they now have Chaos powers. The others successfully escaped thanks to one of Samus's power bombs. Now what will happen?

[Castle of Darkness~ Courtyard]

"That was too close!" Blake pants, they had ran at full speed to escape

"You're telling me!" Samus says morphing back out of her Morph Ball.

"where's Rage?" Shadlink asks looking around

"Good question..." Zelda says "What happened to our red friend?"

"There he is!" Icezer yells pointing to Rage who was on the ground trying to get up and they run over to him.

"Hedgehog what happened?" Xena asks

"Darkness... he took my Chaos energy..." Rage pants "Arg!" he grunts in pain

"You're hurt let me help you." Willow says casting a healing spell and Rage gets up.

"Thank you Willow." he says and she bows in reply "We have to follow them... they went to Christain's Final Fortress."

"But Rage your Chaos Energy!" Sonic says

"Sonic just be cause he took it doesn't mean I don't have more! He can sap all he wants but I would have to bleed out to no longer have Chaos Energy." Rage responds

"That's right Rage has Chaos Blood." Aura says "But where do we go?" Rage points to a large building on top of a Mesa.

"There I can form a warp hole there." Rage says

"Allow me. Rage, you need to save your energy." Xage says opening one of his own from dark energy

"Thanks bro." Rage says before looking at the smashers following them "I know most of you do not know anything about me and are questionably following me because Samus can trust me and you are worried about your friends am I right?" he questions and everyone mutters in agreement "But trust me or not on everything we have done so far at least trust that I am telling the truth that... until Christain is dead or imprisoned in the Time Void we will not be able to return. And it is possible we may not all come back alive. So if you do not wish to leave now and live to fight another day I do not blame you. But for the rest of you This is not only for the fate of our worlds it is for the fate of our friends and allies! If there is one thing I can promise you all it is that I will fight until I draw my last breath! We are not just fighters but we are the best of the best! Smashers need more then just physical power what we have that other fighters don't... if the fact that we know and have something worth fighting for!" Rage summons his weapon and turns to the portal "Now lets go slay us a pair of asshole." he says and one by one they all walk through the portal to land right inside the center hall where Christain stood on a balcony.

"Well you are still foolish enough to try... all of you... I am impressed." he says with a dark laugh

"Because we have a reason to fight. Something worth fighting for you arrogant gray son of a bitch." Xage says "You fight out of a lust for power! It makes you weaker then we are!"

"You will all pay dearly for your ignorance! Darkness!" Christain yells and what was normally a dark hedgehog was white and beaming with Chaos Energy "Use that Mega drain you told me about."

"With pleasure!" he laughs and with a large puse of energy the fighters had their abilities sapped from them collapsing and unable to get up. As they struggled the hedgehog laughs "It's no use the Gravity Chaos will prevent you from getting up." then Darkness gave the Energy to Christain. "It is done master."

"And now a new era begins... the era of Darkness!" Christain laughs

"No..." Rage grunts slowly getting up holding his left arm which he thought was broken. He then looks at the two

"How can you still be moving?! I took your Chaos Energy for god's sake!" Darkness exclaims

"You...two...are...really..." Rage pants before his healing spell kicked in to heal him. He then wipes the blood from his mouth area "Dumb I am a Chaos Blood! I will regenerate more Chaos Energy!"

"You already lost! Your Perfect Chaos Form is no match for all the fighters! Even without your Inhibitor Rings!" Christain laughs throwing one of Samus' super missiles at him.

"Your right my Perfect Chaos is to weak!" Rage says as the Chaos Emeralds fly out of the satchel he keeps them in on his belt and surround him before slowly spinning gradually speeding up. "But..." he says as his Inhibitor Rings come off "my Ultima Chaos Form can!" he says his voice echoing a bit as his fur turns pure white with markings all over his body randomly flashing the 7 Chaos Emerald colors.

"No... it isn't possible!" Christain gasps

"Prepare to die!" Rage yells running for the black hedgehog who avoids the attack and hits Rage with a Falcon Punch sending him into the wall. Rage then recovers from the blow and looks at Christain "Trinity Chaos Apocalypse!" he shouts and a large beam of light, dark, and zero Chaos energy strikes the two foes and not only sends them to the Time Void but restores the Smashers power and they were able to get up not that Christain's Gravity Chaos was nullified. Everyone thanks and congratulates Rage before they head back to their respectful places.

[Angel Island six days later]

(Rage's POV)

I know now just what is out there in the Multiverse waiting... the powers, evils, desires, and best of all people. I am Rage the Hedgehog a small part of something bigger then most minds could comprehend. I am the Chaos Guardian the strongest of warriors but I know with a fighting tournament like Smash Bros. I will find my match soon enough...
