Finally!

Before the teacher could rise from his seat, Peter was out the door, running down the hallway towards the one office students tended to avoid like the plague. Without a hair out of line, he flew through the open door and skidded to a stop at the front desk, skateboard in hand.

"O-oh!" The secretary freighted, almost dropping the stapler in her hand, "C-Can I help you young man?"

Peter smirked, resting his arms on the raised surface of the desk.
"Yeah, I'm looking for-"

"Peter?" A feminine voice cut in, his name slightly twittered.

The brunette stiffened in shock and anticipation, the voice very familiar to his ears. Peter turned towards the speaker.

Kagome Higurashi smiled, a small and delicate hand rising in greeting.
Peter swallowed thickly, reaching out to shake her hand.

"Kagome?"

If it were possible, her smile grew brighter.

"It's good to finally see you in person, Peter," Once again, his name with a touch of Japan.

He found he liked it like that.
