Summary: Too much blood was spilled. Too many lives were lost, all for a boy. He wasn't anything special, just an ice mage from a guild. But he has the chance to rewind time and give life to those who died for his. So to bring back the ones he loves, Gray must give up his life and forget his time with Fairy Tail. Though it would be worth it, right? After all, Fairy Tail would be better off.

Review Responds:

stealthincarnate: Oh my god, I love you so much xD Thanks! I tried to stick to his attitude but I felt like it had to change just a little bit. Again, thanks so much!

AsDarknessSpreads: Ohohohohohoo, you're going to see my crazy side soon - maybe not in this fic, but soon friend sooooooooon. Oh, and no they cant remember soon, because that would be to easy!

yuuki1009: Welcome to my den of crazy ideas and even crazier attempts to put them into words! Thanks a ton! Again, I hope I kept Natsu like that, but then again I did have to tweek his attitude here and there so it could work with the story! There should be an explanation at the end of this chapter.

PokeTail: I've kind of hit a road block with that story, I really have no idea where to go with it - which is sad because I was really exited about it at the beginning. But dont worry I will update it whenever I get the motivation for it again! And hey if you have any ideas for it, just shoot me up with a PM! Thanks so much! for the review! It made me happy!

Rewinsan: Lol, that would be a great way to make them remember! Hmmm, that would be funny….maybe? Ahh, thats not going to be for a while tho! Lol

IcePrinceRay: HE DID! And no not yet - also…maybe? Maybe not! Awesome review, as always :D

Warning: I am typing on Pages so there may be a lot of spelling and Grammar errors. Hopefully I will get Word Doc. soon, but I have like zilch money right now soooooo, it may be a while! Hopefully no OOC, but you never know..also cussing (this is why it's rated teen)

Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail

"Sit the hell down, asshole, you're not going anywhere." Natsu placed his hands out in front of him and pushed Gray back down carefully.

Gray flicked Natsu's hands off, "Since when did you care about how much rest I get?"

"I dont care!" Natsu snapped back all to quickly. "I just dont want to have to pick up your sorry ass when you get caught sneaking around."

"Like thats going to happen," Gray stood and grinned at the Fire Mage. "If I get caught, its your fault."

"How the hell is it going to be my fault?" Natsu crossed his arms and glared at his friend. "Before you sneak out - on your own - dont forget to tell me to kick your ass."

"Look," Gray said, "you're going to help me get out of here-"

"Didn't I just say I wasn't?"

"-because I know where that fucking crazy chick is."

Natsu paused and looked at Gray for a second, pondering what had just been said. "How the fuck do you know where she is?"

"Just a feeling," Gray replied bluntly.

"Pft," Natsu shook his head, "Oh ya, Ice Princess, that's very convincing."

Gray, who had been standing, struggled to keep balance as he threw his hand at the other male's shoulder. Quickly, Gray placed his hand onto the bed frame and glared at Natsu. His plan wouldn't work if Natsu wasn't beside him. "Look," Gray forced a sigh, "if you dont help me get out of here then you probably can never find her."

"Oh ya? What makes you say that?"

"The chick kissed me alright? And when she did, I felt…I felt," his breath wobbled. Something inside of him flipped and he quickly sat on the bed to support his shaking legs.

It seemed like Natsu hadn't noticed because the second he sat down on the bed, Natsu had toppled over laughing. "First time kissing a girl - eh Gray?"

"Fuck you," Gray snapped and grabbed his forehead. He was getting lightheaded. "There was something that…happened alright?"

Natsu stopped and, to Gray's surprise, became serious. "We found you against the wall and there was this…flame that she was trying to - hell, I dont know, eat?"

Gray paused, "Flame?" Unconsciously he placed a frail hand over his guild mark.

"Ya," Natsu snorted. "Funny thing was, it was blue and, get this, cold!" Natsu shook his head, "While you were out of it, I swear it was responding to everything I asked it. Not only that but I could feel you surrounding it." Leaning back, Natsu scratched the top of his head and looked sheepishly at the ceiling. "You were in surgery for…something, and when you came out and just laid here - sleeping - I held that flame. After a while though," Natsu looked down at Gray. Blinking quickly, Natsu noticed Gray had closed his eyes and tightened his grip on his hospital gown.

It took a while, but Gray looked up and raised an eye ridge to Natsu's hanging sentence. "What?"

"It was disappearing," Natsu's voice became low. "I didn't know what to do, so I got pissed and grabbed your hand." Looking down at his own, Natsu flexed his fingers. "It just disappeared."

Gray held his breath, both stayed silent in the room, not knowing what to say to each other.

"Hey, bastard, I dont feel to good…"

"…how so?"

"So what about the girls? Where are they?" Gray's voice was muffled behind the restroom door.

"They, uhh, they're probably investigating." Natsu crossed his arms and agreed to his statement.

"Do you think they're going to come by?" Gray, shuffling behind the door, asked.

"Later tonight, maybe."

Gray opened the door and stepped out. Behind the dark shades, his skin tone had dropped down to a pasty white. The Ice Mage's hair had been combed backwards and a shirt and pants had been put on to replace the medical gown. Gray raised an eyebrow,"Do you think they'll freak when they see that we're gone?"

"You know," Natsu cupped his chin, "I think Lucy was right. Only assholes wear sunglasses indoors."

"Agreed," Gray pushed his glasses up and on top of his head. "But if I'm the asshole, then what are you?"

"Better then you."

"Oh," Gray scoffed sarcastically, leaning lightly on the door frame. "Than a bastard?"

"Once this jobs over with, I'm going to kick your ass."

"I'm ready whenever you are, bastard."

The two shared a grin and with a turn the two headed for the door. Placing a hand on the doorknob, Natsu looked down at Gray. "Do you really need the cane? Isn't that like a dead give away?"

"It's less of a give away then me leaning on you for support."

Natsu shrugged and opened the door, what came next he never expected.

Gray gasped, loudly. He staggered back as people walked past his room, and gripped the doorframe. A choking noise came from his tightly shut lips. Natsu looked back and watched Gray flick his sunglasses over his widened eyes. "We have to move," Natsu snapped, trying to wake Gray from whatever he was going through.

With a nod the two started down the hallway, towards the exit. As they walked, Natsu glanced back a few times, watching as Gray forced his eyes on the ground. A few nurse walked by and made questionable glances at the two. Natsu hoped and prayed that they hadn't noticed who he or Gray was. It had been a few minutes but they quickly snuck out the back way.

They came to the back of a building and Natsu decided it was a good place to stop and question what Gray had freaked out about.

A/N: I know it's extremely short but I have this other story that I'm extremely excited about! Hmmm? I wonder what Gray was freaking out about?! First one who gets (or close to it) a virtual cookie and hug!

Please! Tomorrow I'm posting a story that I've been working on for over a month (like the plot and stuff). If you could check it out when I post it - that would be AMAZING!

A/N2: I also would like to explain Natsu and Gray. Despite them arguing all the time, I believe that when time comes to it they just talk and understand each other - when needed. I also think they know when NOT to mess around with each other.
