Disclaimer: I do not own KHR, I only own Himeko.
Warnings: Rainbows
Himepedia: She is a morning person (surprisingly) even if she loves the idea of lying in bed, doing nothing.

Third Person POV
Himeko stared at her sister, Kyoko, through the Reception Room's window. She was perfect and better than her in every aspect. Looks, intelligence (counted cause Himeko's 'smartness' comes from her previous life), social skills, even in height, Kyoko was 2cm taller than her!
Sure, Himeko was jealous, still is, but this was her sister. Her baby sister. She was an only child in her previous life, so she was overjoyed when she had siblings in this life.
She didn't want to be jealous. But her heart twinged with jealousy whenever she was around Tsuna and Co.
She was the first to befriend Tsuna dammit!
"Mini Omnivore." Hibari's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "Oh, Kyoya! Nice to see you here! Such coincidence!" She faked beamed.
"This is the reception room, Mini Omnivore, I'm always here." The ravenette grunted.
"Ahahaha! That's true! Ah! But other than this room, you would be either sleeping on the rooftop or patrolling the school!" The white haired girl smiled a fake smile.
Hibari stared at her before grunting. "Hm? What is it? Do I have something on my face?" Himeko's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
He didn't answer but walked over to her, the girl braced herself for a tonfa but a pat on Himeko's head was all he gave her.
Hibari then speak. "You are you. Don't compare yourself to others and don't ever change. You are my Sasagawa Himeko, I forbid you to change."
Himeko and himself froze for awhile at what he had just said. "What do you mean? And did you just say 'My Sasagawa Himeko', Kyoya?"
"It was your imagination. You are only a Mini Omnivore to me." The ravenette turned away and headed to exit the door. "Eh? My imagination?" She asked.
"Yes. I said no such things." Hibari insisted.
"Uh, okay. Whatever you say." Himeko shrugged and smiled. 'He definitely said 'My Sasagawa Himeko' I heard him loud and clear. He must have said that because I'm his best friend. I feel so touched!' She thought as she internally cried tears of joy.
The white haired girl then stood up to leave the room, already completed the paperwork given to her. Unexpectedly, she bumped into Tsuna and Co.
"Hime-chan!" Tsuna said in surprise. Her eyes widened. 'He noticed. Tsuna noticed.' She thought. "Ahahaha! Hime-chan! I didn't see you there!" "Tch, annoying woman."
"Tuna-kun!" Himeko smiled. "Tako-kun! Yama-kun!" "Don't call Jyuudaime and me those infuriating names!" "Ahahaha! Hime-chan!"
"So, how is my favourite trio doing? Been on any adventures? Oh oh! Have you found Narnia?!" She grinned. Tsuna chuckled at her antics.
'She's so cute.' The brunette thought but it then stopped. 'Eh? Did I just... I... But Kyoko-chan is the one I like... Haha, probably thought of that because Hime-chan is my childhood friend. Yeah. That must be it. But what is this tightness in my chest?'
Yamamoto's laugh brought Tsuna back to reality. "Ahaha! Hime-chan, do you want to join in our Mafia game too? It's fun!" "Don't you dare join you stupid woman!" "I know! We'll let Tsuna decide!"
The brunette panicked to answer his childhood friend. He didn't want to involve her in the Mafia. He needed to protect her. He can't let her get hurt anymore. Not like the last time. "You can't." He said firmly as Gokudera gave her a smug look and Yamamoto tilted his head in wonder.
Himeko frowned, her eyebrows furrowed. "I... Can't? Why?" Tsuna's hyper intuition is blaring at him, he managed to 'unlock' it after the Mukuro incident, telling him to tell her the truth. He ignored it.
"B-Because only a few people can join in!" He blurted out. "Oh. I see." Himeko flashed a convincing fake smile at them. "I guess have fun then! Let me know if you have space and decide to let me join the game, okay? I won't forgive you if you never tell me anything!"
His chest tightened even more as he saw her hurt expression. He wanted to comfort her so very badly. But he restrained himself. All for the sake of protecting her.
Tsuna's hyper intuition now tells him that Himeko already knows about the Mafia. He didn't believe it.
"Of course, Hime-chan, we'll tell you when we are ready for you to join in the 'fun'." He gave her a wry smile. 'I hope she doesn't join in at all. I need to protect her. I need her safe.'
Yamamoto laughed. "So Hime-chan can join in after all! Great! I hope Tsuna will invite you in soon! We'll do tonnes of stuff together! Like throwing baseballs that turns into fireworks!"
"Un! Sounds like fun! Invite me as soon as possible, okay? I don't want to miss out on all the fun stuff you guys do!" Himeko faked a smile yet again. "Tch! Stupid woman! Don't get too carried away!" "Aw! You're just jealous, aren't you, Tako-kun! It's okay, let me comfort you, group hug!"
Yamamoto laughed and shouted. "Yay! Group hug!"
Himeko and Yamamoto proceeded to extend their arms and hugged both Gokudera and Tsuna in a tight embrace.
"Gah! Let go of me and Jyuudaime, you stupid woman and baseball idiot!" The silverette shouted.
Yamamoto laughed. "Don't fight it!" "Embrace it!" Himeko finished the sentence. "Like hell!"
Tsuna laughed. Oh how he wished these peaceful days would last. But he knew as a Mafia Heir candidate, it would be impossible for the peace to last forever.
That's why he would get stronger. To protect his friends, family and Himeko, his precious eccentric childhood friend. Yeah. He'll get stronger. Nothing will stop him from achieving his goal.
-Timeskip-
~How long has it been since I fell in love with you. My feelings only increase, will you notice them. Even though I've never once put them into words? Like the snow, they just quietly keep accumulating~
Himeko closed her eyes as she listened to the song of her favourite childhood anime. It was so similar to her situation right now that it makes her laugh.
"Tadaima!" "Okaeri Hime-chan. Kyoko helped an old lady in the neighbourhood today, isn't that lovely? Why can't you be more like Kyoko, she is such a sweet girl, I'm sure she would get a boyfriend soon. I doubt you would even have one. I worry for your future. Himeko, are you listening?"
The white haired girl had just reached home and was immediately bombarded with her mother's nagging. But of course Himeko didn't hear her mother because she had her earpiece on.
Sasagawa Hiyoko, fed up by her daugther not listening to her, pulled out the earpiece forcefully, making the wire snap.
Himeko looked at her mother in shock. Her newly bought earpiece was now broken and useless. "Mother... That was a newly bought earpiece..."
Her mother gave her a blank look. "You could buy another one. This wouldn't have happened if you were more like your younger sister. I just can't figure it out how you become so much like your brother, girls are supposed to be more feminine, more graceful-"
"Moth-" "Don't talk back to me young lady! You should have already known that as a girl in the Sasagawa family, you are to be gentle, graceful and delicate! Not rough like your brother! That is a man's job! You are a girl for god sake! Do you understand?!"
The white haired girl gave her mother a strained smile. "Yes mother, I'll try to be more like Kyoko." Hiyoko snorted. "You better or I'm kicking you out of this house." "Yes mother, I'll try my best." Himeko faked a smile once more and proceeded to enter her room.
She immediately dropped her bag on the floor and lied down on it and closed her eyes and breath in and out deeply to maintain her composure. Holding the broken earpiece tightly in her hand, she quietly sang.
~You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away~
