Title: Visions
Pairing: hints of Mary/Francis
Warning/Spoilers: Future, slight spoilers for 1x04 {Heart & Mind} promo
Author Notes/Disclaimer: Honestly I have soft spot for Nostradamus. I find him to be very intriguing in Kissed. I don't know what Mary's stance on Nostradamus visions, but I have a feeling after 1x03 {Kissed} she may start to believe him. Also I don't own Reign.
Summary: His visions are always in fragments. He never knows enough, on how to stop it, or even what it might be pertaining to, and yet lately most of his visions seems to center around the young Queen of Scots, and her husband to be.

His visions were usually in fragments.

Sometimes he knows who the vision is the about and other times they were so vague he isn't entirely sure what his visions are trying to tell him. Most of the time he never knows enough on how to stop the vision from becoming real, or even on occasion what it might be pertaining to.

Although he knows the young Queen of Scotland may have start believing in his predictions, especially after his prediction of the Black Dragon in a field of poppies had to come to pass.

Apparently it was about Prince Tomas troops fighting in Scotland. Ever since then, he has had a suspicion that Mary may have start believing in his visions.

Although, he has seen other visions pertaining to the young Queen of Scots, and her future husband, his first version of them being of Francis dying in Mary's arms.

He doesn't know necessary know when or why Francis died, although it seem like he was protecting Mary from some unseen foe.

So he wasn't lying to the Queen of France, when he told her that Mary will be the cause of Francis death.

Other times his visions were a bit less serious. He has seen visions of them kissing on a pale blue blanket, an embrace between a frantic and concern Francis, and shaken Mary, their wedding. Several other moments in between those.

Although, there isn't a doubt in his mind that the Prince of France, and his future wife are genuinely in love.

His brown eyes silently studies the young Queen of Scots, "Is something troubling you Grace?"

"What will my future with Francis be like?"

He frowns slightly, wondering if he should be truthful, or if he should withhold some of it.

"Your marriage to him will be short, but the two of you will be very happy," he replies after a moment. He instantly notices an array of emotions crossing the young queen's face. "Perhaps instead of worrying about your future together. You should live in the present, treat each moment with him as a gift."

Mary nods. "Thank you, for your time Nostradamus."

He watches the young of Scots leave the hallway, no doubt looking for Francis. He knows that fate will be extremely cruel to her after Francis death.

He doesn't know all of the details, and his visions of her future are usually very brief but at the same full of pain and sorrow.

So he might as well allow Mary to be happy, for now.
