"Are you sure about this?" Jack said as he watched Sophie set the final touches to her outfit. He sat perched on the window sill since Sophie's room was her personal space and it felt wrong for her to have a boy in her room when her mom was downstairs and didn't know about it. Even if Jack was a spirit

"Yes, Jack. I'm positive" She said as she checked her eye liner then backed away with a satisfied grin, turning to where Jack was perched like an eagle "Why are you worried about this? I'm the one meeting your family"

"Yes but they kindofdon'tapproveofmyrelationshipwithahuman" Jack muttered the last part

"What was that?" He sighed and got down from his perched position to just be sitting on the window sill with his legs dangling

"They don't approve of our relationship. Because you're mortal and I'm not…" He trailed off, pouting and rubbing his neck in worry

Sophie smiled sympathetically at him and walked towards him. She put both hands against his cheeks and tilted his head upwards to look at her before lightly pecking his lips

"Don't worry, frostbite. I'll take care of them. I mean from what I remember I had Bunny wrapped around my finger" She raised up her pinky and Jack smiled before pulling her in for another kiss

"Are you ready?" He asked after he lightened his grip around her waist

"Yeah, just one more thing" She walked to her nightstand and retrieved something from it, then showed it to Jack

"A rope?"

"For safety measures. I mean I'm pretty sure we aren't taking the subway to the North Pole and I'm a bit afraid of flying. We'll be flying over oceans and seas and I'm not to keen on falling and drowning or being eaten by sharks or end up in a whale's stomach"

"I won't drop you" He chuckled at her active imagination, "I've been doing this for LITERALLY centuries"

Sophie shrugged and smiled sheepishly "Please? So I can relax and enjoy the ride"

Jack shrugged and turned to give her his back "Okay, let's get going"

Sophie came up from behind him and wrapped the rope around them twice before tying it in a knot Jack couldn't name, muttering under her breath "Thank God for girls' scouts"

And they were off

*Line break*

Jack entered through his usual window, immediately getting swarmed by elves offering eggnog and taking the rope off of them

"You're late!" North bellowed

"As always" Jack shrugged "I went slow for Sophie" He gestured to Sophie, who was hiding half behind Jack, kind of like she did with Jamie when they were kids

"Sophie!" North smiled widely and opened his arms for a hug. Sophie shyly stepped forward and wrapped her arms around North

"Hey Santa" She said in a voice above a murmur, smiling too. North gently pulled her back and held her at arms' length as he admired her with gentle eyes

"Oh my, my dear. Look at how big you've gotten. You've grown into a beautiful lady" Sophie smiled at him and he let her go only for her to be attacked by a swarm of bright colours otherwise known as Tooth

"Sophie!" She squealed "Look how big you've gotten! Look at all these teeth! they're all white and straight! You must be flossing daily!" Sandy hopped on a sand cloud and gently pried Tooth's hands away from Sophie's mouth. He made a grabby hands motion then turned the sand into a tiny figurine of Sophie then made an anxious face. Tooth nodded her understanding then turned and apologised sheepishly to Sophie who just shrugged, but truthfully she was thankful for Sandy's interference

"Hey Sandy" She waved at the golden spirit, who waved back and smiled

Then Sophie saw the Easter Rabbit and her whole face lit up

"BUNNY!" She ran at him and he caught her in time, twirling her in midair. They held each other for a long time before Bunny let go

"Look how big you've gotten, ya little ankle bittah'' Bunny smiled, holding Sophie by her chin

"I missed you" She says before hugging him again and nuzzling his soft fur

"I missed you too, Sophie" Bunny wrapped his arms around her

Jack smiled at the scene. All the spirits welcomed her with such love. He was so proud of his family

Someone cleared their throat behind him and her turned to look at non other than his little sister Snow

"Aren't you going to introduce me?"

"Oh! right!" He had totally forgot. He turned to Sophie and called her over

Sophie turned and looked at Snow with a surprised look on her face. She walked over to where they stood

"Hey! You must be Snow" Sophie said, bending a bit to try and lessen the height gap

"Yup, and you must be Sophie" Snow smiled, she could tell this whole introduction (or reintroduction) thing was making Sophie a bit anxious and she didn't want to make it worse, so she lightened the mood with a joke "I can't believe Jack got himself a girlfriend, someone who is willing to see him everyday. Three hundred years kind of makes you bored of someone"

Jack nudged his sister playfully and Sophie laughed

"Alright everyone! Dinner is ready!" North announced
