Hey, guys! So, I came up with this literally 20 minutes ago, so forgive me if it's really short and rushed.

I know it says Holiday One-Shots is completed, but I didn't feel like posting this in a seperate story thingy, so... Yeah. Here it is.

Disclaimer: I do not own Austin and Ally, or anything else you may recognize in this story.

Enjoy! :)

"Austin, you need to find yourself a date by tomorrow night, or we will find you one." Mike Moon threatened, upset by his only son's careless attitude. Mike and Mimi Moon, Austin's parents, had been invited to a diner with fellow matress sellers to celebrate Valentine's day. The children of the sellers were invited as well, but only if they had a date.

"Why don't you? It would cause me much less trouble and awkward invites. 'Hey, wanna be my valentine? It'll be fun, I'll take you out to diner with my parents and a bunch of people who love selling mattresses. We'll have a total blast.'"

Mimi let out an annoyed huff. "Fine. I know just the right girl for you. Her father will be at the diner with us, and from what I've heard she doesn't have a date either."

Austin plastered a fake smile on his face. "Great." He said, hoping he sounded happy enough. Last time his mother had tried to set him up with a girl... let's just say it didn't end well. She still appeared in his nightmares from times to times.

"So, it's settled! I'll go call her right now." Austin's mother said before walking away. The teenager watched her go, hoping she wasn't setting him up with a girl completely horrible.

His phone beeped about an hour later, signaling him he had just received a new text.

From: Unknown Number

So, you're my date for the sucky mattress diner, huh?

Austin frowned, glancing at his mother who was quietly humming to herself while reading the newspaper, before setting his eyes back to his cellphone.

To: Unknown Number

Possibly. Who are you?

From: Unknown Number

The name's Ally. Your mom called about an hour ago, asking if I was still dateless for Valentine's Day. Your mother is real charming, by the way.

Austin smirked, quickly processing to type down a response.

To: Unknown Number

Do I detect a certain amount of sarcasm in that text of yours?

Sending the text, he quickly saved the number under a new contact, happy his mother didn't seem to make such a bad job in finding him a girl, this time.

From: Ally

Perhaps you do. Now, Prince of Moon's Mattress Kingdom, state your name.

Yup. This girl was definitely something else.

To: Ally

Where are you?

Austin would've looked around, but honestly, for who? All he knew about Ally was that she was a girl his age. Not much to work with, if you asked him.

From: Ally

Standing near the entrance. I'm wearing a blue dress.

He made his way to the entrance of the fancy restaurant, and when he saw her, his breath itched in his throat and he stopped dead in his track, a few feet away from her. Surely, this couldn't be the girl he'd been texting for a few days, now. He imagined Ally to be tall, tough and rebel-looking. This girl was all but that. She was small, and looked so fragile he was almost afraid to approach her. Almost.

Austin blinked, ordering his legs to start moving again. He slowly made his way to the girl, stopping directly infront of her. "Ally?" He asked the girl. She looked up at him through mesmerizing brown eyes, then a smirk appeared on her lips as recognition reached her eyes.

She bowed down mockingly. "Your majesty. Where's your crown? Thought you parents would want you to show it off. This is a wasted opportunity, really."

He rolled his eyes, fighting back a laugh. This was Ally. No doubt about that. "I convinced them to leave it at home. Didn't feel like embarrassing myself, tonight."

"That's too bad. I would've appreciated a good show."

He stuck out his tongue at her and she did the same.

"Austin, Ally, I see you two have met. Will you please take a seat at your table? We're about to get our food." Austin's mother interrupted the two teen's bickering, guiding them to their assigned table without waiting for an answer. She was out of their sight as soon as they'd sat down.

About halfway into the diner, Austin took his untouched glass of water and started gulping it down.

"That's not water, you know. It's only for decora–" Ally didn't have time to finish her sentence. The water was out of Austin's mouth and a small puddle was forming beside their table. "–tion." Ally laughed. "So much for not embarrassing yourself, huh?"

Austin gasped, trying to ignore the curious and disapproving glare of his parents' friends and his parents themselves. "You did that on purpose!"

"Of course I did." She said, still laughing. "You think I'd get through the night without you embarrasing yourself at least once? In your dreams, my dear prince."

He shook his head, a smile making its way to his lips.

His mother had definitely chosen the perfect girl.

BAM! Done!

I know this isn't my best work, but... What do you think? Keep in mind that I wrote this in about fifteen minutes.

Happy Valentine's Day to you all!

Until next time,
