Danny POV
Raven and I sat in the park with our little twin angels, Cassandra and Isabelle. Raven had cut down on being a hero and I was reign the ghost zone with my duplicates except if there wa ssomething serious. One of my first acts was to make Vlad my second in command and promoted Fright Knight to being the guardian of the natural portals. He was quite a cheerful guy once he was allowed to move on his own will.
We even rebuild the ghost zone into a blooming world. We connected all realms together and granted each ghost with a small realm a big one. An own personal island, much like Skulker's jungle island. Everything was perfect.
Oh and Ember was pregnant with Skulker's child. I gave him a good scolding when he accidentally dumped her on one date during her early pregnancy. Ok it wasn't his fault though. One of his clients was persistent and didn't let him go. Oh by the way, he opened a animal catching shop in Jump City and no he doesn't kill them. He brings them to the Jump animal shelter. Never thought that he could be such a kind man.
„Say what do you think will happen from now on?", Raven brought me out of my thoughts.
„What do you mean?", I asked as I cradled our children.
„I mean about Ember's marriage.", she said nonchalant.
That stopped my mind for a second.
'Ember is getting married? My daughter is getting married?'
„Ähhmmmm... what?", I asked a bit flabbergasted.
Raven eyed me curious af if she didn't understand what I meant but something dawned on her face.
„You do know that Ember and Skulker are getting married, right?", she eyed me wary.
„Not really. This is the first time I heard about this.", I gave a low growl but thought about it.
„Maybe she told you before me because she was your bridesmaid and you two are quite close with each other and maybe she is afraid of what I would say. She doesn't even know that I know about her pregnancy. But she should know that I love her no matter what she does. She is my daughter after all.", I leaned back and sighed.
Before she could answer I felt something. Something familiar evil. I lain my finger on Rae's lips to stop her.
„Bring the two back to the tower and stay there.", I gave her a serious look and she nodded.
We had agreed that once one of us got serious there was no backtalking allowed. She grabbed our children and kissed my cheek before she teleported away.
Just as the last shard of her power vanished a shot echoed through the park. I deflected the shot with my backhand and into the next tree. Before me stood my former parents. Maddie looked just like she did back then when she was still my mother. Jack had changed quite a bit. He was still heavy but most of his hair was grey now and time hadn't been to kind to him. They had their weapons armed and locked at me giving me a vicious grin.
„We have you now FREAK!", Jack bellowed.
I couldn't help it and laughed. I laughed so loud that the echo of my voice was all over the park. It took me a minute to compose myself again as I wiped away a non existent tear away.
„Ok you have me. Took you long enough.", I joked.
„Watch it freak.", Maddie bellowed pissed.
„Or what?", I still smiled.
„We will hunt down that whore you call your wife along with your freak children.", Maddie hissed.
My smile vanished and I became deadly pissed. No one dare to insult my wife or my children. This was the last straw they could have pulled.
„You dare...", I growled with venom.
I vanished in a puff of smoke and appeared in front of them. With one grip I ripped Jack's bazooka from his hands and smashed it within my grip. With the other one I knocked the Ecto Foamer out of Maddie's hand and smashed it in the process. Then I gave Maddie a roundhouse kick to her head, send her flying and shot Jack in the chest sending him flying into his wife. Before any of them could even touch the ground I chained them up into my ghost chains. I did all that within three seconds. They groaned and looked at me fearfully.
„You shouldn't have brought my family into this hunters. Before I would have let you go but now you sealed your fate.", I growled.
„What could you to us? You have no power here!", Jack spat.
„Oh haven't I? I guess you shouldn't have dropped out of the system for so long. So I will tell you.", I gave them a devilish smile.
„I am the king of the ghost zone and I made peace with all human nations. We ghosts live in peace with the humans. It's against the law to attack each other.", I paused and enjoyed the disbelieving look.
„And since you attack me just now, let me emphasis this, attacked a member of royalty. You will go to jail if not even the death sentence.", I savored their panicked reaction as they fought against their chains, to no avail.
I took out my phone and called the police to get rid of these two idiots. After the cops took them away and apologized for the Fentons behaviour, I just said that I only wanted them to be brought to justice. After that I dialed a new number. A number to connect me to someone who would love this special information.
„Hey Jazz. You won't believe this..."

Raven POV
I just left Danny and teleported to Ember's house and knocked. A minute later she opened the door and smiled.
„Hey hey hey Raven. What brings you here?", she smiled.
We went to her living room and she got us two cups of tea. My children were sleeping in my arms as I placed them down on the couch.
„I think I just messed up.", I confessed a bit worried.
„What do you mean?", she also looked worried but certainly for another reason.
„I told Danny about the wedding. I didn't know that you hadn't told him yet.", I sipped my tea.
Ember stared at me and gulped. Her eyes were as big as dinner plates.
„Does he also...", she gulped again.
„Yes he knows about your pregnancy.", I sighed and patted her shoulder.
Ember looked down a moment to compose herself.
„And what... did he say?", she still didn't make eye contact with me.
„He thought that you didn't tell him because you were afraid of his reaction but he understands and loves you no matter what. I even think he welcomes this idea somehow.", I said and she looked up to me.
„You know... I don't know if I could have made it so far without you Rae...", she muttered and hugged me.
„You know what? You are one hell of a stepdaughter.", I smiled as I returned the hug.

Flashback

I sat in my room, hugging myself in silent grieve. Danny just died two days ago. I was full of sorrow. I lost everything except my children. I shut out my team, my family. Nothing mattered anymore but I wouldn't let myself die. My children needed me. Danny's children needed me.
Then I felt a sudden chill down my spine. A whirlwind of flames appeared in my room and a figure materialized. The figure was non other than Ember McLain, one of Danny's daughters. She spotted me and jumped to me, giving me a caring hug.
„I just heard about it.", she whispered in my ear.
That's when I couldn't hold it anymore. She didn't know it but her words meant so much to me. These words from Danny's daughter were enough to break my dams. My tears ran down my cheeks uncontrolled and I hugged her with all my might, crying onto her shoulder.
Hours flew by like leaves in a autumn storm. Finally my tears ran dry and I felt Ember gently patting my back.
„Why... did he... have to... die... on his own...", I sobbed.
„You can't mean that. You have to live for him. He wouldn't want you tto die because of him. He would want you to live and be happy again.", Ember pleaded soft.
„But... it hurst so much..."
„I know how you feel. He also meant alot to me. He became like a father to me over time.", Ember hugged me tighter.
'Oh how right you are.'
„Promise me that you will keep on living. Keep on living for your children. Live for Danny's sake.", Ember nudged me with a weak smile.
I couldn't help it and gave her a weak smile witha soft nod.

If that day hadn't happened Ember and I would have never got so close that I would have asked her to become my bridesmaid. She was a real great support during these hard six months and she became a close friend and family.
„So you ready to talk with your father about the wedding? I think he would be overjoyed to get the honor to guide you to the altar.", I asked with a bright smile.
„I would love that.", she smiled back.

„Time out", echoed through the room and everything froze in it's place.
A clockhand appeared and created a blue portal. Through it came non other than Clockwork with his usual smug smile.
„Hello there Daniel.", he greeted.
„Hey Clockwork. What do I owe this pleasure of your visit to?", Danny also held a smile.
„I'm here to inform you of your upcoming fate.", the time ghost seemed relieved for some reason.
„Perfect timing like always. I just wanted to call for you.", Danny shrugged and sat up.
„You know how it works.", Clockwork shifted into an old man.
„Yeah I know. You know everything past, present and future.", I shrugged with a smile.
„But you being here must have a reason.", I added.
„Your are right. I'm here to explain your recent changes and your upcoming fate to you.", he explained as he into a old man.
„Ok please explain first how I'm still alive."
„Ah yes. That would be because you overdid it with your spells to destroy the Morovein vessel. Even with your ghost half sealed away you merged your two halfs together with the pressure of your magic. Now you are no longer a halfa but an undead. One of the strongest being ever known to exist. With that you are no longer bound to the aging limit as you have become a true immortal. A wanderer between the worlds.", he explained calm as he shifted into a toddler.
To say I was a bit freaked out was an understatement. I was in a full out mental frenzy, but covered it up with a half baked cool facade.
„Now that I didn't see coming.", my voice was strained while I tried to control myself not to freak out.
„Truth be told. The chances for you to reach this state for existence was only 0.0000045%. It's a true miracle that you managed to do it.", Clockwork smiled.
„And here I thought that you knew everything.", I smirked.
„I see and know everything but you also know that there are many different other possibilitys to each choice we make.", he turned into a middle aged man again.
„And speaking of choices. What is it with my fate you mentioned earlier?", I asked.
„Ah yes. That is about your coronation in three days.". Clockwork stated nonchalant.
I stared at him flabbergasted.
„I'm still being coronated even if I'm no full ghost? Oyu got to be kdding me.", I growled.
„Daniel you know that you are required as a king. You have seen the future you are about to create.", Clockwork stated while he changed again.
„I know but I also know what will happen if I follow the path of being king. I will lose Danielle and I can't allow that. You know how it affected my future self.", I explained sorrowful, remembering how much my future self had changed.
„But with you knowing about it, you can prevent it.", Clockwork smiled.
„Wait... What? You are letting me mess with the timelines? Who are you and what did you do with the real Clockwork?", I asked sarcastic but suprised.
„A few little changes won't affect the timeline too much.", he winked as he went back through his portal and closed it behind himself

I had just told Jazz about how the Fentons got arrested and got a good laugh from her. We both knew that the two of them would be brought to the ghost court, because attacking a member of royalty was like high treason.
Maddie's statement of hurting my family still boiled in my mind but I couldn't do anything against it. Trying to calm myself down, I remembered the good old times.
After our reunion I had a long talk with Robin, who still was kinda ticked off by my suicidal move back then. Yet he was relieved that I made it back. I also learned that he was the one who told Rae to step down from active work as a Teen Titan and only support them from the background. He also took great care of her. Don't get me wrong, everyone did their best to help Rae, Jazz and Dani to get over my death. But Robin was the one who did the most of it. He was a caring little guy, since he lost his parents at a young age he knew the feeling of great loss. I admired that and with that he earned my never ending respect.
That's why I chose him as my best man. Before that I would have chosen Cyborg or Johnny but with that he was the best man for the job. Things were still awesome. I felt even happier than I did two years ago.

Timeskip 12 years later

I sat in my lab and was updating Skulker's armor, while another duplicate was reading a book about demons. The demons of Rovalaar, to be precisely. A friend of mine had asked me to help with him with a plague of little grasshopper like demons. They were eating away the people's crops before they could even attempt to save something. Trigon/Michael (I'm not quite used to his human name) and I were working on a way to deal with them but first we needed more informations of what they exactly were. It was then when I heard the recent news on TV.
„And in the latest news. The Teen Titans have defeated another supervillian. The second generation teen heroes ahve proved themself once again to be able to follow their parents footsteps.", the reporter stated.
I smiled and turned back to my work. Then I heard Rae in the kitchen.
„Hey Rae. Let me handle that. You should rest.", my original's voice also came from the kitchen.
„Danny, I'm pregnant not sick!", she groaned.
I smiled at my wife antics because I could practically hear her pout.
„Still, I just want to be sure. You take a seat and I cook. You know Cassandra and Isabelle would kick my ass if I let you even lift a jar or marmalade. I may be stronger than they are but that doesn't mean that I will actually fight them.", Danny groaned.
„So how are they anyway?", Rae sighed and changed the topic knowing she was defeated because her children and husband only meant well.
„They are awesome as always. I think if they continue like that, they will surpass the first generation.", I could feel the sly grin on my originals face.
„You know you should stop that or you will meet my fury.", she laughed.
„I think I can handle that.", my original said as he kissed her.
„You know what? You are one sly bastard.", Skulker smiled at me.
„Hey what can I say, It's part of my charm.", I shrugged and we laughed.
My live was perfect. There was not one day I hadn't thought that since I woke up in the healing chamber of the Justice League, 14 years ago. I loved every second that I lived and shared with my family.
I went through hell since my second birth and after over 1700 years I finally found my true love.
