Chapter 5: search party

"Ok, we have to search this whole thing for the crystal." Twilight said.

"That could take days, we should find Volt first." Rarity said. "He'll be easy to find since he is most likely at the wheel."

"Ah don't think submarines have steering wheels rarity." Applejack said.

"Is this really the time, applejack?" The country mare waved her off as they began moving to the bridge. They decided that getting up their quietly was the smartest way considering the hundreds of workers and guards patrolling the place. They split into two teams, applejack, rainbow dash, were both fit enough for a fight, so they went on to try and capture Volt and bring him to the other elements. Fluttershy and rarity had taken a bit of damage during the ship crash, so twilight and rarity went to help them along and find the crystal. As the two fighting mares crept along the ship, applejack began to whisper.

"What are we gona do when we get there?"

"I don't know, wrestle the guy to the ground maybe."

"What if he has some kinda power other than the secret opposing thing?"

That's right! Rainbow dash had completely forgotten about that. "We'll use the elements."

"With just two of us?"

"We'll figure something out when we get there."

"Alright." They continued along until they came to the door to the bridge. Applejack pulled on it, locked.

"Just like buckin apples, right?" Rainbow said. Applejack took the hint and kicked door down with her hind legs, the metal toppled down and landed with a bang. Both mares charged in to find a single unicorn pony facing away from them. His coat was a bleak white, almost gray, his mane was black and unkept. Without turning, he spoke.

"Applejack, Rainbow Dash. Come in."

"Volt." Rainbow dash looked at his face in the porthole reflection, there was a scar across his nose. "How do you know who-"

"Oh I've been reading up on current events in equestria. The nightmare moon incident, the whole discord thing, I know all six of you, perhaps better than you know yourselves." The old man laughed and turned to them with a wicked grin. And I'm about to get to know a little more." The man stared right into rainbow dash's eyes, both his eyes the her's lit up a bright white, then the mare fell to the floor. Before applejack could react, Volt did the same thing to applejack.
