Chapter 1

Annabeth

It's been 4 days after the Great War and Percy doesn't show much signs of improvement since then. Sure he responds to some commotions like the movements of his eyelids, light squeeze on the hands, and such, but Annabeth is getting more and more worried for her boyfriend. He's been the one that is most hurt from the war, being the hero and all. But inside her heart, Annabeth can't be more thankful knowing that they're finally free from war and will be able to live a normal life, maybe not forever but at least for now. Percy was on treatment still, and according to the healer, he may woke up after 3 days or so days, and now she's hoping today will be the time. She really can't wait to get her Seaweed Brain back. Just then she saw Percy's eyes trying to open, and out of excitement she almost screamed getting other's attention. Almost all the campers gather together around the infirmary including Jason, Leo, Piper, Frank and Hazel who's been with them through the war, and Grover, Tyson, and Nico.

There are murmurs from everyone, showing how excited they are that the hero has finally woken up.

Percy has a smile plastered on his face. He tries to sit up, but wince in pain. Annabeth hurries to his side to help him.

"How are you feeling?" Annabeth asks Percy, happy and worried at the same time. Instead of getting a reply, Percy just gave her a strange look as if asking her "Who are you?".

He then turned his gaze to Grover, "Hey G-Man!"

Grover just pats him on the back and smiled at him. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm good, some pain on the ribs but otherwise I'm fine. Uhm, where's Rachel? Is she okay?"

"WHAT?" Annabeth said distastefully. Why is he looking for her?

All gaze turns to Annabeth.

"I'm asking where my girlfriend is, and by the way, who are you? Are you a demigod?" Percy said in between his knitted brows.

Just then, Annabeth's world crashed…
