A/N: I can't believe it's over, but here we are. I hope you guys like it.

I drove down the streets in my old jeep. I haven't seen Max in a month. I had some college stuff to finish up. Then I had a few job interviews. Then, I had to pack up all the stuff from our apartment we had moved into our senior year. Max had to leave early to get to Greenville.

It almost felt like I was seventeen again and I relished in the feeling of those first years in this town. I could remember the feel of unfamiliarity I had for the first couple months. I could remember the feel of Max next to me as we drove down these streets. I could remember taking these streets to the high school every day. Nostalgia rose in my stomach like a fire and I gripped the steering wheel tighter.

That was back when I didn't have a clue and when Max and I said we didn't know what we were going to do with our lives. That was back when Max was a hell-raising teenager with an addiction. That was before I really fell in love with her. That was back when I was first learning about myself and Max and the townies. Now that all felt like a lifetime ago.

I pulled into the long driveway and parked the car in front of the house. I looked at the land around me and for the first time I realized just how big this whole area was. The house was a beautiful farm house that had a picturesque look to it.

I got out of the jeep and started towards the house with the setting sun behind it. The pink colors of the sun lit up the acres of empty land, looking like it was just made to look beautiful.

Max came bursting out of the front door and onto the front porch. I could see Max and I rocking in old wooden rocking chairs on this porch when we got older. She stood before me in old ratty jean cut-offs and a t-shirt advertising Penn State. She beamed at me with her wild smile. It was like I was back in that first day of science class my junior year. It was like Max was sixteen again and wild and something unknown. She was back to being my wild townie girl for just a minute. I hurried towards her and she ran at me, her bare feet hit the ground and then she was jumping into my arms. I grabbed her right off the ground and spun her around. She felt more solid than ever in that moment.

"I missed you!" I told her as I set her down but didn't let go of her.

Max looked at me with bright eyes. "It's ours!"

"All of it?" I asked. I stared out at the land all around us.

"Charlie and I signed the papers officially this morning and finally finished moving out," Max said. "It's all ours!"

I pulled her back to me.

"We're starting something great, Fang," Max told me happily. "Just like you said, we're starting something great."

I kissed her forcefully. It's so real. Max and I have a beautiful house and acres of land as far as the eye can see. She's going to run the farm and I'm going to work with computers. Maybe I'll even write a book someday.

"This is great," I told her. I pushed her hair away from her face. She beamed at me and then pulled me into the house.

"This is our kitchen," Max said as she showed it to me. "This is our dining room." We moved into an empty room. "This is our living room." Again the room was empty. "Downstairs bathroom." We stopped in a bathroom. It needed a little work, but nothing we couldn't handle in a couple weekends. Max pulled me up the wooden stairs. She showed me each room and closet and the other bathroom. Then she pulled me into a last room.

"And this is our bedroom," she told me with a smirk. She pulled me into the room and quickly shut the door behind us. God, I missed her.

Max and I set up our mattress in our bedroom and ordered a pizza. I held her to me as we ate our pizza without any plates. We could stay with our parents but I was too excited about the house to leave it and I think Max was feeling the same way.

"Did you hear from that guy?" Max asked me softly.

I shook my head.

"Do you think you'll hear from him?" Max asked.

"I hope so," I said, "it's a really good job. I could get us insurance and stuff."

Max put her hand on my chest. "I'd bet everything I've got that you get the job."

I kissed her head. "There were other people who were there that looked way more qualified than me. They all looked older. They probably want someone with experience than some kid out of college."

"Like I said, everything I've got," Max said.

It's empowering to think that someone thinks so greatly of you. In Max's eyes, I could do nearly no wrong.

"What's next Max?" I asked her. I looked down at where she threw down her pizza crust and it crashed into the box. She glanced up at me then down at the ring I had given her the day after we graduated from college.

"August thirtieth," Max told me. "Not this one, but the next one."

"What about it?" I asked.

"That's the day I want to marry you," Max told me confidently. I brushed her hair behind her ear and smiled a little.

"Why August thirtieth?" I asked.

"That's the day I met you," she said. I thought back to that first day. I followed her and Iggy out to the court yard and she told me off with a packed lip and cigarette hanging out of her mouth. She told me that I didn't know about her or this town, and looking back, Max has never been more right.

"Well, you better call it so that Ari and Lily don't take it," I said. "I heard they're looking for about that time too."

"I'll call them in the morning," Max said.

"Then what, Max?" I asked. I wanted her to say what I wanted more than anything.

Max looked at me and gave me a small smile.

"Well, after I start up the farm and you get a little steadier in your job…"

"What?" I asked her.

She rolled over until she was lying on my chest. She put her fore head to mine and stared straight at me.

"Then we can have a baby, Fang," she said softly.

"How many?" I asked her. Ever since I met the Rides I've dreamt of having a family just like there's. I want our house to constantly be filled with laughter and jokes and companionship. Max thought it over slowly.

"Three," she finally said.

"Four," I bargained.

"Fang," Max warned.

"Three and a half," I offered. Max laughed and the sound filled the empty room. I couldn't help but smile, especially when her eyes crinkled at the sides.

"We'll talk about it in a couple years," Max said finally.

"Deal," I said.

"So, Fang," Max mused, "We've got a lot of land."

"That we do," I said in response.

"And we've got a truck," Max continued.

"Yes, we have a truck," I told her.

"And you've never seen the back forty," Max said simply.

"You should probably show me since it's ours now," I said in response. Max jumped off of me and extended her hand.

"I'll show you," Max said. I hopped off the bed and took her hand.

I followed her out of our house. When she hopped into the truck and I hopped in next to her, it felt like we were young again. Then, at the same time, it felt like we were on our way towards something new. I realized that we had it wrong this whole time, we aren't starting something great, we're just continuing something amazing.

A/N: I just want to thank you guys for sticking with me and with this story all the way until now. I really enjoyed writing it and I really hope you enjoyed reading it. Thank you guys for all the reviews and the support on this and You're My Curveball. You guys have been amazing throughout both stories.

If you guys want I'd love to hear about your favorite chapter or character. I'd also like to hear about your least favorite chapter and your least favorite character. I'm always looking to improve so I'd love to know what you guys think.

I have another story and I was actually almost done with it but I got towards the end and I really just didn't like the direction it went in or really what had happened with the characters. So I completely deleted half of the story and now I'm starting over. So with that said, I was planning to post it Wednesday, but after deleting half of it I might postpone that for another week. I have it all planned out now I just need to write it. So, you guys can either just keep a look out for that or follow me and you'll know the second I post it. It's a little deeper than a lot of the other stuff I've done and kind of deals with a controversial issue. I won't go into too much detail about it, but I'm hoping that you guys will like it. So look out for that in the next couple weeks.

Thank you guys again for all your support in every way! You guys are truly amazing and you make writing so much fun.
