Hello everyone. This is my first Once Upon a Time story. In fact, its my first decent, completed story I have ever written in my entire life, so I really hope you like it.
So I have been reading lots and lots of stories about the kiss (all of them amazing) and I have watched the sneak peek over and over again (pretty sure I nearly broke the replay button, haha) and I thought it was my turn to put in my two cents worth. Just a short one-shot about the moment we have all been waiting for since Emma and Hook first met. So here it is, hope you enjoy :)
Disclaimer: If I owned Once Upon a Time, I wouldn't be posting here, would I?
He was right.
She couldn't handle it.
The moment their lips touched she knew she was in deeper than she planned, deeper than she would care to admit. One kiss, one simple kiss, was all she had in mind. She was only responding to his challenge. He threw down the gauntlet, and she picked it up.
One kiss to prove him wrong.
One kiss to ease their sexual tension, at least for a little while.
One quick kiss and that was all.
How wrong she was.
She knew she should have pulled away as soon as she felt that spark, but her body would not listen. Instead she found herself deepening the kiss, wanting more and more and more until there was no more to take. No more to give. It took every inch of her willpower to pull away before they were caught in a very compromising position. But god, did she want to stay.
She really never meant it to get that far.
'One-time thing,' she thought as she trudged her way back to camp. 'Yeah, right.' She knew then, no matter how much she tried to deny it, that she was attracted to him. But there was no way she would submit to her feelings. She would not break. She would not give in. Not first. He would be the one begging her, not the other way around.
Who was she kidding? She knew that her emotions are going to be even more difficult to control now. God help her if they were ever alone together. She didn't even know how she would be able to look him in the eyes once the five minutes were up. She knew that she had no choice though. If she started avoiding him like the plague, which she really wanted to do right now, the others would know something was up. They would ask questions and no matter how good she is at spotting lies, she has never been great at telling them.
Even just the thought of the kiss had her blushing red, heart rate quickening, and a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had so many feelings swirling around inside of her that she was struggling to make sense of them. She could pinpoint bewilderment over these sudden emotions that felt so new to her. There was humiliation due to the fact that he bested her yet again, and he wasn't about to let it go. And she could feel anger.
Anger because, damn him, he was right.
She couldn't handle it.
Thank you so much for reading guys.
As I said before, this is my first decent published piece of fiction, so I would really appreciate it if you could review this please? Just a few words to let me know if you liked it or not, what I did well and what I need to work harder on, just to help me get better at story writing. It would mean the world to me.
Thanks everyone.
