A/N - I really didn't intend to take so long to update this story, but I lost my inspiration for it and no matter how much I tried I couldn't get it back. I would write a few paragraphs here and there, but it was never enough for a full chapter. Over the weekend I decided to a look at the story and much to my surprise I got inspired long enough to write out the third chapter.
"Let me get this straight, you left a powerful amnesiac witch and my amnesiac vampire brother alone together?" Damon glares at Caroline and Matt.
"Hey it wasn't exactly my idea." She glances at Matt. "Besides they were very intent on being alone. What did you want me to do, drag him out of there?"
"If it came down to it yes," He continues glaring at the blonde vampire.
"He's right, Caroline." Elena jumps in. "Bonnie and Stefan hanging out together without their memories could be dangerous. They don't know each other well enough to be alone together."
"Exactly." Damon agrees next to her.
Jeremy frowns, but he stays quiet as he thinks about what he's heard.
"Come on it's a date, not a marriage proposal." Matt chuckles.
"Matt!" Caroline slaps his arm and throws him a disbelieving look. What would possess him to reveal that info to these three people? He has to know it won't go over well at all. Then again based on the slight smirk on his face, maybe that was his idea.
"What do you mean date?" Jeremy frowns at Caroline and Matt, his heart dropping into his stomach. It's bad enough that the love of his life can't remember him, but now she's going out on a date with the bastard that used to date his sister.
"Stefan can't be interested in Bonnie." Elena folds her arms across her chest, worry gathering in her stomach.
"Why?" Caroline is the one ask, surprised by the vehemence of her friend's denial. She figured Elena would have an issue with Stefan and Bonnie hanging out, but not to this degree.
"Because she's not his type."
Next to her Damon frowns, not liking what he hears in his girlfriend's voice. She seems just a bit too upset about this for his tastes.
"You're acting like it's impossible for someone other than Jeremy to be interested." Matt narrows his eyes at his ex-girlfriend, feeling insulted on Bonnie's behalf. "In case you forgotten, Bonnie is a beautiful girl. Most guys would be interested based on that alone."
"That's not what I meant." Elena shakes her head. She knows Bonnie's beautiful, but she also knows Stefan's never shown an interest in Bonnie before, which leads her to wonder if he's doing this to get back at her. "I'm just worried that he's doing this because he wants to get back at me because of Damon. Old Stefan would feel guilty to do something like that, but I'm not so sure about this new Stefan."
"You should have never left her with that bastard!" Jeremy growls out as he starts to pace back and forth across the room.
Matt rolls his eyes at her explanation and Jeremy's outburst. They would think this was about Elena. "I'm pretty sure that's not it."
"How do you know?" Damon glares at him. He wouldn't put it past this version of his brother to something like that. Especially after the altercation they had once Stefan found out his relationship with Elena. He may not have the memories, but he knows down to the core that Stefan is still the same guy that lashes out when he's hurt.
"Neither of them remembers anything about their lives, which means the things that would have plagued them before are no longer an issue."
"What are you saying?" Elena brow furrows.
"I'm saying that the stuff that would have held them back from acting on any attraction they might have felt is no longer there. So of course they're going to act on it. That's what's happening here."
"We need to find them and explain why this is a bad idea."
"You do that and you'll push them even further away from you. Is that what you want?" Caroline joins in the conversation. She knows how stubborn they both are with their memories intact so she knows it would be even worse without them. "The best thing you can do is let things play out."
"I have to get out of here." Jeremy says suddenly, unable to deal with the news. Before anyone can move, he rushes out of the room.
"Let him go." Damon stops Elena from going after him when they hear the front door slam. "He just needs some time to cool off."
Elena nods, but the frown doesn't fade from her face. "You're right, he and Bonnie will work things out. This is why I'm not sure I agree with letting things play out. It could complicate things once they got their memories back. Stefan's already been through so much and I don't want to see him hurt by this."
"The last time I checked I was your boyfriend, not Stefan." Damon points out angry about her attitude.
"That's not what this is about." Elena protests.
"Isn't it? You're all upset because he might be interested in Bonnie despite the fact that you're with me. Why do you even care, unless you still have feelings for him?"
"Just because I don't like the idea of one of my friends dating my ex doesn't mean I still have feelings for Stefan."
Matt shoots Elena a look of disbelief. Does she not remember that she had no problems with him dating Caroline despite their past relationship?
"Okay, time for you two to go." He glares at Caroline and Matt, making it clear their presences are no longer required.
Sensing the tension, the two quickly say goodbye to Elena and make their exits.
"I can't believe you threw them out like that. That was so rude."
"Enough about them." Damon rolls his eyes as he faces Elena. "We need to talk about us."
"What do you mean?" She looks at him in confusion.
"Your mind has been on Stefan ever since we found out where he really was over the summer. I refuse to be second choice so I think we should take a break from our relationship. " He'd been more confident about his place in her life when she chose to be with him even with Stefan around. But now that Stefan has amnesia, he has doubts. Doubts he know will only be quelled once things are back to normal.
"But, Damon I want to be with you." Elena protests with sad eyes, having not expected this. It's true that she's worried about Stefan and Bonnie falling for each other, but it has nothing to do with wanting still wanting Stefan. At least she thinks so.
"Do you really?" He levels her with a hard look. "It's obvious to me that you're upset about this and I can't sit around and hope Stefan will get his memories back . So while you figure out what you really want, I'm going to work on getting Stefan and Bonnie's memories back."
"But you heard what Caroline and Matt said, Bonnie and Stefan aren't going to be any help. Maybe we should wait for their memories to return."
"It's already been a week since Bonnie was resurrected, nearly a month since Stefan's return and they aren't making any progress. This has gotten too dangerous and I'm putting a stop to it." He glances at her one more time before he walks out of the house, slamming the door behind him.
Elena growls in frustration at how messed up everything has gotten in such a short time. Not wanting to be stuck in boardinghouse right now, she quickly finds her keys and storms out. If she's going to deal with this breakup she needs a drink.

"Okay when you said you were going to show me around I definitely wasn't expecting this." Bonnie says as she looks around the grassy hill where she has a view of the entire campus. She had been surprised when after showing her around campus, Stefan asked her to give him some time to prepare something special for them.
Ten minutes later, he returned with a blanket and a picnic basket filled with sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, cheese, and a bottle of red wine. She doesn't know how he managed to get everything so quickly, but she definitely appreciates the effort.
"It's a great way to people watch and as you can see there is also a great view." He gestures toward to the orange and red sky that indicates sunset. "Although I'm much more interested in the view I have right here. You look amazing by the way." Stefan grins at her, enjoying the way she flushes at his compliment.
"Thanks." She smiles somewhat shyly. "You don't look so bad yourself."
"I'm glad you think so." He puffs his chest out cockily making her laugh.
"You know when you first made your offer, a part of me thought you were trying to get me alone so you could…" She trails off and gives him a knowing look.
"I won't lie the thought has definitely crossed my mind several times today" He leers at her and Bonnie blushes slightly. "But I want to get to know you. Something tells me I didn't do that the first time we met."
"How can you be so sure about that?" She asks despite coming to the same conclusion.
"I mostly based it on what the others have said about us and the fact that I feel like there's no way I would be able to hang out with you and not want to be around you all the time. Leading me to believe we weren't all that close."
"Yeah I got the impression I wasn't all that close to any of you. It seemed like I was around because of loyalty more than anything else. Pathetic, isn't it?" She looks down at her hands.
"Wanting to help the people you care about isn't pathetic." He tries to soothe her. "I'm sure you had your reasons and once you get your memories back it will all make sense to you."
"I don't actually want my memories back." She says surprising him.
"You don't?" He looks at her with wide eyes.
"No."
"That's interesting because neither do I. I feel like I've been given a new chance and…." He hesitates slightly before continuing. "…maybe it's better that I don't have all those memories weighing down on me.
"Why would you say that?" She asks before taking a sip of her wine.
"When everyone was trying to trigger my memory, Damon mentioned that I have these journals that I've written in throughout the years. So I went through them and ended up reading some of the things I did for Elena." He looks down at his hands before looking back at Bonnie. "Reading that I was willing to sacrifice innocent people for her really bothered me. I don't want to be that guy anymore."
"Yeah…I know exactly what you mean. I went through some of my old texts and I quickly realized I that I really didn't have much of life outside of helping everyone. And I just thought that was really depressing." She takes a glance at Stefan who is listening intently. "I guess what I'm saying is… I don't want to be the person that apparently lives to serve others. I want to live and I feel like the only way is without having those memories. Wow I didn't mean to get so deep on first date." She widens her eyes when she realizes just how much she has revealed to him. "I mean not to be presumptuous, but as well as this is going, I think it's likely we'll have another date."
"You're right I definitely want another date." He gives her a wide smile as his stomach flutters. He can't believe how much fun he's having with her. It's been a month since he's returned and for the first time he's having the time of his life.
Bonnie returns his smile before deciding to get back on subject. "Anyway those journals of yours sound interesting. To have a record of everyday of your life since you became a vampire written down. That's a lot of that history." She shifts on the blanket, her leg brushing up against his.
"How do you know it would be a lot of history?" He asks after he discreetly adjusts himself. He should not be getting hard from an accidental leg brush.
"I can sense that you're an older vampire. Just like I can sense that Elena and Caroline were turned more recently."
"That makes sense." He nods and picks up his glass of wine. "And you're right I was turned during the Civil War so I'm pretty old." He slides closer to her. "You know I would be happy to show my journals to you sometime if you're interested."
"I'd like that." She smiles at him before picking up her sandwich and taking a bite.
"Great." Stefan takes a sip of his wine and basks in the warmth that her smile gives him.

Much like the week before, Damon finds himself at the door of Qetsiyah's cabin. However unlike the last time, he actually takes the time to knock instead of barging in. It takes a few minutes for the door to open, but when it does he's surprised by the sudden onslaught of lust he feels.
"Damon Salvatore. To what do I owe this displeasure?" Qetsiyah stands at the threshold with damp hair and a towel wrapped around her body. She'd been relaxing in the tub with a good book when she'd heard a knock at the door. At first she planned on ignoring it, but when the knocking continued she decided to see who it is.
Immediately he's struck by how beautiful she is like this. She's always beautiful, but there is something about her in a more vulnerable place that appeals to him. Still, he shakes off those thoughts wanting to focus on why he came to see her. "I was thinking about our conversation last week and I decided that you're helping me whether you like it or not."
Qetsiyah looks at him with a mixture of amusement and annoyance. "Really and just how do you plan on making that happen?"
"I have my ways." His blue eyes stare her down in way that is intended to be intimidating, but comes off as sexual.
Although she tries to remain unaffected by Damon's look, Qetsiyah's body reacts to the attraction she feels coming off of him. He probably doesn't even realize how transparent he is and it is at that moment that she decides to go with it. After all, it has been over two thousands years since she's had the pleasure of having a man in her bed.
"What if I said that I realized after your little display last week that you would not be suited for my plans with Silas?" She makes sure her voice takes on a sensual tone, knowing the effect it will have on him.
"I would say that I can handle anything you throw at me." His cock hardens at the sound of her voice and the smell of her arousal.
"Mmmm," She walks around in him in circle, looking over his body. He may be an bastard, but he's a handsome bastard with a great physique. "You like to talk a big game, but can you handle this?"Qetsiyah watches him for a moment before allowing the towel covering her body to drop to the floor.
Damon stills, feeling as though he's been punched in the gut. Her body is fantastic. She has amazing breasts, nice flat stomach, curvy hips, and amazing legs. Unable to stop himself, he grabs her by the shoulders, pulling her in for a passionate kiss. Their tongues meet immediately, each enjoying one another's taste.
Qetsiyah moans when she feels his hard bulge press against her and she wonders how it will feel when he's naked and deep inside of her.
As though he read her mind, He picks her up and walks over to the bed, tossing her onto it. The moment she lands she sits up slightly, watching as he starts to undress. He pulls his black t-shirt over his head, showing off his naked torso before working on his pants and shoes.
The moment he's naked, he swoops down to kiss her, his hands caressing her body. She moans as his hands trail down her stomach, her hips, before moving between her legs. Damon hisses when he slips his fingers into her pussy and sees how wet she is. Unable to wait, he pulls his fingers back and settles between her thighs.
He thrusts inside of her with a grunt. The pleasure of being inside of her tight body causes his cock to grow larger. She moans and he can feel her walls tighten around him. How did he get here? All he planned on doing was force her into returning Bonnie and Stefan's memories, but now all he can think of is how amazing it feels to be inside her. It's like nothing he's ever had before. Sure he's fucked witches before, but no one as powerful as Qetsiyah.

Jeremy leaves the Mystic Grill with a full stomach and a new outlook. When he first stormed out of the boardinghouse, he'd been furious at the idea of Stefan and Bonnie starting something up, but now that he's had some time to think he realizes that he just needs to step up his game. He'll get to know her again and he hopes that she'll eventually fall for him the same way he did before. Only this time he won't take her for granted.
Pulling out his car keys, he starts to head to his car when he hears a familiar voice.
"Look I don't need any trouble."
He easily recognizes the voice belonging to Katherine Pierce. Initially he decides to ignore what he heard, but when he hears a more angry voice call her several obscenities, he decides to intervene. It's a good thing he does because when he gets to the alley, he sees a large vampire holding Katherine by the neck as he presses her against the wall.
The sight makes him angry and without giving it much thought, he pulls the man off of her and punches him. Before he can make another move the vampire grabs him and slams him into the wall. Naturally it hurts like hell, but he makes a point of pretending other wise and pushes himself off the wall.
"You really should have walked away instead of trying to be the hero." The vampire growls angrily. "Now you're going to die, just like this bitch."
"I don't think so."Having grown used to dealing with vampires more powerful than this one, Jeremy pulls out the stake he's keeps with him and quickly tosses it in the direction of the vampire's heart. It hits his target and the life goes out of the vampire.
Katherine gapes in shock, both surprised by how easily Jeremy killed the vampire and the fact that he would help her in the first place. It's not the first time she's been attacked since she's become human and it won't be the last. Tonight however had been the closet she came to losing her life. As the shock wears off, her right ankle gives out, finally succumbing to the vampire's attack.
She had been leaving the Mystic Grill when she'd been stopped by angry vampire. At first she assumed he was someone she turned, but she quickly realized he'd been the relative of someone she killed. She tried to get away by kicking him, but he grabs onto her ankle and twisted. From what she can tell it's not broken, but it still hurts.
"Are you okay?" Jeremy asks when he sees her on the ground.
"Yeah, the only thing hurt is my ankle."
"Okay let me take care of him and then I'll see how bad it is." For a brief moment he wonders why he even cares. He has every reason to hate her, but the seeing this more vulnerable version of her calls out to him. He's the kind of guy that likes to be needed and right now Katherine is someone that needs help.
"Why did you help me?" Katherine asks as he tosses the body into a dumpster.
"It was the right thing to do." Jeremy says as he crouches down and takes a look at her ankle. "Does this hurt?" He runs his hand along her injured ankle ignoring how soft her skin feels.
When she winces in pain and nods, he picks her up in his arms, holding her close to his muscular chest. She never really noticed how big his muscles have gotten. The moment the thought fully registers in her mind, she frowns and glares up at him. "What the hell are you doing?"
"You shouldn't be putting weight on your ankle." He replies as he carries her out of the alley.
"I know that genius." She bites back sarcastically, though she's feeling anything but sarcastic at the moment. "I meant where are you taking me?"
"I'm taking you to the boardinghouse. You're obviously in danger now that you're human."
"Are you sure that's a good idea? Your sister isn't exactly my biggest fan." Normally she wouldn't give a fuck about Elena, but right now she's in survival mode and she doesn't really want to deal with her doppelganger while they are unevenly matched.
"Considering what you did me, I have good reason to not want you staying with us. Since I'm okay with it, she'll just have to deal with it." His jaw is tense and his eyes are dark, making smolder slightly.
"Wow, baby Gilbert finally grew some balls." She looks up at him slightly impressed by his take charge behavior.
Jeremy ignores her in favor of opening the car door. Gently he places her in seat before reaching over to buckle her seat belt. Once it's secure he closes the door, moves to the other side of the car and climbs inside. Within minutes he's driving in the direction of the boardinghouse, hoping he doesn't end up regretting helping her. Ultimately he decides not to worry about it, deciding that anything that can take his mind off of Bonnie and Stefan can't be too bad.
-X-
Is Damon right about her? Does she still have feelings for Stefan? Elena ponders those questions as she downs her fifth or sixth shot of tequila. After leaving the boardinghouse, Elena decided to go to a bar just outside of Mystic Falls. She could have gone to one of her usual places, but she had been afraid she would run into some she that's the last thing she wants to deal with right now.
She is just about to order another drink when someone sits down in the stool next to hers and she can feel their gaze on her.
"What's a nice girl like you doing in a dive like this?"
Elena looks turns toward the voice and is surprised to find herself face to face with handsome brown-skinned vampire. He's dressed casually in a dark sweater and jeans, but he manages to look amazing. Due to her slightly buzzed state instead of amusing her like it normally would, his pickup line annoys her instead. "Of course, you see a girl drinking at a bar and you're first instinct is to hit on her."
"I didn't mean to offend you." He looks at her apologetically. "I just saw how upset you were and I was hoping my terrible pickup line would make you smile."
"I'm sorry it …you're right it hasn't been the best day for me. My boyfriend kind of up broke up with me." She admits with a contrite look.
"I get it breakups can't be rough. I've had my own share of them. I know this is probably the last thing you want to hear right now, but it will get better with time." He smiles at her before turning to the bartender and ordering a drink.
"Once the bartender places it in front of him, he turns toward her and introduces himself. "I'm Marcel by the way."
"Elena." She tells him her name and she's surprised when they start to have a conversation. They talk about movies, music, and their favorite books. By the time she looks at her phone she's surprised to find an hour has passed. She can't believe how easy it has been to talk to him.
"So, I know we've mostly stuck to more safe topics, but if you want to talk about your breakup I'm a great listener. Sometimes it helps to talk about it with someone that isn't close to the situation."
"Thanks for the offer, but I should probably get going." She pays her tab and stands up before turning to face Marcel again. "I do appreciate you sitting here with me."
"No problem." He nods. "Well maybe I'll see you around sometime. " He grins at her and once again she's struck by how handsome he is.
"Maybe," She returns his smile, although she seriously doubts they'll see each other again. Still it had been nice to think about something other than her issues with Damon.
-X-
"If I'd known it how amazing this would be, I would have done this the moment we first met." Damon rests his arms behind his head and reclines on the bed. The sex between them had been hot, frantic, and unlike anything he's ever experienced before.
Uncaring about her nudity, Qetsiyah climbs out of bed and slips into a dress. "Aren't you forgetting something?" Damon gives her a blank look. "A certain Petrova doppelganger that you claimed to be madly in love with just last week." She won't lie, there's a part of her that relishes in the fact that she managed to make him forget all about Amara's descendant.
His eyes widen as he leaps out of bed and pulls on his boxers. What the fuck was he thinking? It was as though from the moment he stepped foot into the cabin, he just had to have her. "What did you do to me?" He ask as he pulls on his clothes.
"If you're insinuating that I needed to perform a spell to get you into my bed, you might want to rethink that. You did exactly what you wanted to do. So don't you dare put the blame on me because you cheated on the woman you supposedly love." Qetsiyah glares at him angrily.
"Not that it's any of your business, but we're technically on a break right now. So I didn't actually cheat." He doesn't mention the fact that they only broke up a few hours ago. Damn that's even a new low for him, but he can't bring himself to care after being inside of her.
"Really? What happened? Did you realize you would only ever be second best when it comes to the doppelganger?"
"You don't know what you're talking about." He growls, flinching at her accurate assessment. Partly because he hates when people psychoanalyze him and partly because he doesn't want to look pathetic in her eyes.
"Stefan's no Silas, but I can see why women would be drawn to him." She grins at him, enjoying how uncomfortable she's making him.
Damon frowns hating that he still wants her even after her little barb. Still before he deals with his newfound attraction, he needs to deal with business first. "We still need to talk."
"No we don't." She protests coldly. "In fact it's time for you to leave now." When he opens his mouth to argue, she gives him a small aneurism.
Not wanting to deal with another headache courtesy of Qetsiyah. He decides to relent. "I'll leave, but this isn't over."
"It was over the moment you softened inside of me." She says matter-of-factly.
"I was actually talking about Bonnie and Stefan, but now that you mention it, we're not over either."He moves closer to her until they are only a few inches apart. "I will find a way to convince you to return their memories." His voice is low and sexy. It should probably frighten him that he's basically forgotten about Elena, but instead he decides to use his attraction to his advantage.
"I look forward to you trying." Her voice is sardonic.
Damon smirks at her one last time before he turns on his heel and swaggers out of her cabin.
-X-
It's close to midnight by the time Stefan gets Bonnie home, but she has no complaints. After finishing their food they continued to talk until they realized a few hours had passed and they decided it would be best to end their evening.
"I had a really great time with you today." Bonnie says as Stefan walks her to her door. In her hand is a rose that Stefan gave her earlier in the day.
"So did I." He smiles back. "So have I convinced you that Whitmore is a good place to go to school?" He hopes so because he would love to see her around campus on a regular basis. His gaze travels to her backside when she pulls out her keys and turns to face the door.
"You have actually." She turns to face him. "It gives me a lot to think about." She's starting to think going to Whitmore won't be so bad, especially if Stefan is going to be there.
"That's all I can ask." He nods before changing the subject. "Anyway how would you feel about spending the day with me tomorrow? We could start with breakfast and then choose some activities for later that day?" He knows he should probably be playing it cool, but he can't suppress the urge he has to spend as much time with her as possible.
"I would like that." She grins happily as she unlocks her front door.
"Great! Just choose the time and I'll come pick you up."
"How about 8 o'clock?" She's usually up by 6am, but she wants some time to get ready before he shows up.
"That's fine. I'll see you first thing tomorrow." He's already excited and anxious to see her and he hasn't even left her yet.
"Just a fair warning, I have a big appetite so─"
Stefan presses a kiss to her cheek stopping her words midsentence. It was what he'd wanted to do the moment he spotted her across the room earlier. Actually he would much rather have kissed her lips, but he managed to hold back, knowing it will be much more fulfilling to wait until the time is right.
"Good night, Stefan." Bonnie says with a smile once he pulls back. Despite the innocence of the gesture she feels a spark through her body and she knows she needs to go inside before she does something crazy like invite him inside. As attracted as she is to him, she wants to take the time to get to know him.
"Good night, Bonnie." He returns her smile and watches as she walks inside the house.
Once she closes the door, Stefan makes the trek back to his car and finds that he's unable to wipe the smile of his face.
-X-
A few hours later, Qetsiyah is reliving her encounter with Damon. He had been fantastic in bed and despite what she told the dark-haired vampire she definitely plans on having more encounters with him. There's no law that says she can't have fun while she takes out Silas. She looks up when the door to her cabin opens and she sees a familiar face.
"Looks like someone had a good night." Marcel looks around the cabin and spots the rumpled bedding. It's about time she got some. He knows if the roles were reversed that would have been one of the first thing he did. No way would have been able to hold back after two thousand years of no sex.
"What are you doing here?" She chooses not to respond to his insinuation and instead focuses on the reason he's at her door.
"I just wanted to let you know that I ran into Elena tonight."
"You did?" Qetsiyah asks in surprise. She assumed that Marcel's meeting with the doppelganger would have to be manufactured, but it looks like fate was working on their side for once.
"Yes." He nods. "She's was drowning her sorrows at the bar I happened to be in. She was upset because of her breakup with her boyfriend. I have to say she seems harmless. What do you have against her?" After talking with Elena for a good portion of the night, he's curious what the pretty vampire's done to piss off the powerful witch.
"Nothing." She says as she takes a seat in one of the armchairs in the cabin. It's the truth; her problem is with Amara and Silas not their doppelgangers. "But if I want my plan to work I need her kept busy and based on the glimpse of you I've gotten you should have no problems keeping her busy."
Marcel grins shamelessly as he thinks of their first meeting back in New Orleans two month ago.
Marcel buries his cock inside Carmen, one of the witches he has working under him, over and over, his hands on her ass as their hips moving together in a steady rhythm. As he continues to work her over, Carmen lets out moans as she licks the pussy of his other witch Valerie. The sight of it causes Marcel's cock to grow harder and a grin to appear on his face. It's not the first time he's slept with one of the witches in this town, but it has been awhile since he's had a threesome with any of them.
He's usually content with just one woman, but after what happened tonight he needed the distraction of two. Klaus has managed to kill a third of his vampire crew, leaving him a lot less powerful than he had been a few hours ago. Marcel hadn't taken Klaus seriously when he informed him that he would be taking New Orleans back from him, but now months later, it's very obvious that he should have.
Valerie moans, bringing him out of his thoughts and Marcel decides to focus on the women in his bed. No need to bring that bastard up right now. His thrusts harder into Carmen and once again his attention is back on the pussy he's currently embedded in.
He freezes abruptly however when he feels the presence of someone else. He turns his head expecting to see Klaus or even Rebekah, but instead he sees an olive skinned woman with long dark hair and a long flowing dress staring back at him. She's beautiful, but based on the calculating look on her face, she's up to something.
"Who's she Marcel?"Carmen asks as he pulls out of her and climbs out of bed. She has no problems sharing him, but there's something about the woman in the doorway that intimidates her.
"You didn't say you were bringing someone else." Valerie looks up at him from position on the bed. She also feels a bit intimidated, but her desire to please Marcel rules out her uneasiness. "I don't mind don't though." She frowns when Marcel doesn't even look her way.
Having heard the women's thoughts, Qetsiyah rolls her eyes. "You two are pathetic, drawn in by a handsome face, lowering yourselves by catering to the whims of vampire that only wants to control you. In my day, witches knew their worth." She glares at the two witches who only give her blank looks in response. It's clear she won't be getting through to them, so she turns her attention back to the naked vampire staring at her. "As for you, your time in this town is near it's end."
"Who the hell are you?" Marcel flashes over to the woman intending on grabbing her, but stops when his hand starts to feel numb. "Did Klaus send you?" He growls out the words.
"I would never work with the likes of him." She spits angrily, clearly disgusted by the suggestion. "As for who I am you'll be seeing me again very soon." She's seen what she needed to see and she knows he's the one for the job.
Before Marcel can even take another step, the woman disappears into thin air.
He's broken out of his thoughts when Qetsiyah speaks once again.
"Unless you're not up to the challenge now that you're no longer the king of your own town." Qetsiyah smirks at him.
Marcel frowns at her slightly insulted. He's bedded hundreds of women over the years and he's sure this girl will be no problem for him. "I'm definitely up to the challenge."
"Good. Remember your debt won't be paid until Silas has gotten what he deserves."
Marcel nods in understanding.
After that first meeting he'd seen her again a few weeks later when Klaus had not only succeeded in destroying the last of his army, but also turning the entire supernatural community against him. He would have been dead if Qetsiyah hadn't stepped in and saved him. She'd given him a ride out of town and used her powers so no one in New Orleans would come looking for him. Of course doing all that had come the stipulation that he travel to Mystic Falls with her and help her with whatever she needed. He'd been worried about the assignment until today when he laid eyes on Elena. Being tasked with the job to seduce a beautiful woman is a much better assignment than he'd been expecting and he's eager to get started.
