A/N: HOLA

Yes, I have been in an (unplanned) hiatus. I had school things to sort out and I already had (most) of the chapter written out; but, as usual, my attention shifted and I started delaying things. There's a reason why I'm the Procrastination Queen in the classroom. I procrastinate so much I didn't plan the coronation.

If my memory serves me right (and it usually never does, sometimes it serves me a tray full of lies and deception and daydreams-thought-to-be-true), the previous chapter was an introduction to a "special chapter" because Jason and Annabeth are baby-fied.

Also, everything is in 3rd person POV to make things consistent. As for the age of the "babies", I have nooooo idea. Around, the age where they can walk around, but not really talk, just noises. I don't really have a good reference because my baby cousin has slow development in terms of speech while the other two babies I know are either kilometers away or in another continent. They're probably 3-5 months idk.

Okay, I'm done. *mic drop*

Previously

Percy stood up, "Woah, no. No, no, no, noooooo..." he trailed off

Hazel dumped baby Annabeth in his hands, "Game over, Percy"

PERCY'S SH-

"Wait" Percy held up a held, the one that wasn't holding Annabeth, stopping the members from leaving the Mess Hall.

"What?" Piper asked.

Percy readjusted baby Annabeth in his arms, "Who's going to take care of Jason?" he asked

Speaking of the devil, a cry came from the bedrooms.

Everybody dashed to the rooms, except for Percy, who was taking his sweet time while baby Annabeth talked to him in baby-talk. Percy nodded along, as if he understood a word that came from her mouth, but he was used to acting like he was listening.

"Oh really?" he said as baby Annabeth raised the pitch of her voice at a certain "gah".

When they reached the bedrooms, specifically Jason's room, Frank successfully held up a clothed baby Jason, wearing clothes Aphrodite sent them. On his shirt was the Superman logo.

"Success" Leo said, "We have successfully wrestled the son of Jupiter into baby clothes". Leo paused, blinking, "I'd never thought I'd say that sentence and actually make sense"

"Well," Hazel said, turning to Percy, "Percy, take him"

"What?" Percy exclaimed, "You guys were serious?"

The 4 other members nodded.

"Can you really trust me with two babies?" Percy asked.

"We trust you with a sword" Leo said.

Percy pouted, "That's just insulting"

Baby Annabeth, who was unusually quiet, started to cry. Baby Jason followed, possibly triggered by the tears of the other baby.

Soon, two babies were bawling their eyes out while the respective teenagers who were holding them tried to shush both of them.

"This is worse than the time Piper cried" Leo said, making faces at Jason to cheer him up, but to no avail.

"Shut up, Engine Boy"

Eventually, Coach Hedge stepped down from the deck, where he was doing an early morning look-out, "What's wrong no- are Chase and Grace babies?"

"Hey, that rhymed" Leo chimed, but Coach Hedge ignored it. The babies piped down as they saw Hedge, probably because of his legs, which will silence the newly-introduced demigods.

"Yes, they are" Piper answered Coach Hedge's question.

Coach Hedge was quiet for a while- something that weirded the demigods out- but all he said was, "Try having 2 babysitters instead of one, but everyone will have 2 shifts today. Can't have a literal Child of the Prophecy go unattended, especially when all of you are this hyper."

With that, he went back to his post.

"Who's going to take care of Jason, then?" Percy asked

Everybody looked at Frank, who was currently holding baby Jason. Seeing as everybody voted on him via stares, Frank sighed and muttered, "Fine, but when I have to give him a bath, Percy comes with me"

Percy raised an eyebrow, "Why?"

"What happens when you place a kid who can control lightning into water?" Frank asked as baby Jason made grabby hands at Frank's shirt.

"If that's the case, Piper and Hazel have to be the one who's giving Annabeth a bath" Percy said.

"Oh, don't worry" Piper said, "One of us is probably on their shift when baby Annabeth needs a bath"

"With that said," Leo announced, "If anyone needs me. I'll be fixing the masts. They don't repair themselves. If I'm not there, I'll be in the engine room baby-proofing the whole thing. Orient me when it's my shift" He waved a hand at them and left the area.

"Okay, so, instead of two shifts, let's try having shifts that last twice as long now, and one of us will have to go again" Piper said, "We'll be making that decision when the final shift starts. So, go enjoy your shift, guys"

FRANK AND PERCY'S SHIFT

Percy

Percy managed to find some scratch paper and pencils in the Storage Area. He handed them over to baby Annabeth, who almost poked her eye with the pencil tip.

Percy took the pencil from her, "No, you don't poke your eyes out with this" he said, "I'm going to find some charcoal, or any other drawing material that is safer and more blunt". When Annabeth reached out for the pencil, Percy held the pencil away from her.

Baby Annabeth stared at him with wide grey eyes.

Percy stared back

Baby Annabeth continued glaring

Percy continued as well

.

.

.

Soon, there were papers with pencil-drawings on the floor of the Galley, Percy only butting in when the tip of the pencil got too near to Annabeth for it to be considered safe.

Frank

"Okay, Jason" he called out, "Where are you"

He knew from the start playing Hide and Seek with a baby was a bad idea. Especially in the lower deck.

"Jaaaaason" he called out.

From above his head, he heard a giggle.

"Jason?" he said, "Not funny anymore. Pipeeeeeer"

"Yes, Frank?" Piper called back from the upper deck.

"Have you seen Jason?"

"No, I haven't seen Jason"

"Try saying his name three times in front of a mirror, maybe he'll show up!" Leo exclaimed from the Main Engine Room, "Also, no, he isn't here. Good luck finding him"

Percy

"Annabeth" he called behind a corner

Percy ducked behind the wall when the toddler turned to his direction. He bit his lip to prevent himself from laughing. He saw Frank playing Hide and Seek with Jason earlier (how could he not? Frank was so loud at calling for Jason. It's a surprise Jason hasn't showed up), so he decided to play it with Annabeth.

He felt small hands wrap around his leg.

He looked down, ready to say "You caught me" to Annabeth, but when he looked down, he was looking at another blond baby

"Jason?" he exclaimed in a whisper, reaching down to lift the baby up, "What are you doing here?"Hide and Seek, of course.

Then he heard giggling just around the corner. Percy looked at baby Jason, who was grinning at him.

"That wasn't you, was it?" Percy asked, "Well, since your babysitter Frank misplaced you, you're playing with me now. Come on, let's go"

When Percy heard the faint steps of the baby coming closer, Percy turned another corner to hide from Annabeth, baby Jason keeping quiet.

Frank

After going through numerous possible hiding spots in the Argo II, yes, he even asked COach Hedge, Frank crashed on a chair in the Mess Hall, his legs aching..

Frank was about ready to give up.

Then he heard laughing.

A baby's laugh.

"Finally" Frank muttered, walking to the direction of the sound, "Jason Grace, we are going to put you in one place because who knows where you-"

The other words died out from his tongue as he saw that he found the other blonde baby, not the one he was looking for. Surprisingly, Percy wasn't around.

He knelt down, "Hey, Annabeth" he said.

Baby Annabeth turned and smiled when she saw Frank, exclaiming noises like "Ga" and "Choo". She raised her hands up, wanting to be carried.

Sighing, Frank reached down and hoisted baby Annabeth up so she was sitting on his shoulders. Baby Annabeth laughed, pointing at directions she wanted to go. Frank just went with it.

He found one baby, but not the baby he was looking for.

After a few more minutes with "Nu" and "Aah" and other baby sounds she could make, both of their stomachs grumbled. Before baby Annabeth could start crying, he dashed to the Mess Hall.

There was already a bottle prepared beforehand, he told himself, All I have to do is to let Annabeth drink it.

But of course the gods weren't on his side today because when Frank arrived at the Mess Hall, he found four things:

One was Jason.

The second one was Percy

The third was the bottle

The fourth was that the bottle was in Jason's mouth, half-way empty.

Unbelievable.

"Hey Frank!" Percy smiled, a can of blue Coke in his hand, "Annabeth found you! That was the longest game of Hide and Seek I've played with a kid"

Frank placed Annabeth on the floor, where she ran to Percy and gripped his leg. Percy lifted her up so she could sit on his lap. She started babbling, Percy nodding as if he understood. Baby Jason, who was sucking on the bottle, saw Frank and he lifted his arms up, smiling. The bottle popped out from his mouth. Frank, despite being tired from the worry of where baby Jason was, lifted him up and grabbed the bottle, giving it back to the blonde baby.

He popped it back in his mouth and laid his head on Frank's shoulder.

"Were you going to make a bottle for Annabeth?" Percy asked

"Yeah, I am"

"I'll do it" Percy volunteered, "You already have Jason to deal with"

"Thanks man"

"Anytime" Percy stood up, Annabeth by his hip and proceeded to prepare a bottle. Frank sat down, careful not to disrupt baby Jason.

After a few minutes, the two toddlers were full and the two teenagers were tired.

Unfortunately, full toddlers meant energized toddlers.

Percy

"Theeeee" Annabeth jabbered, pulling at Percy's leg, "Raaaaaaawwww"

"Even when you're a kid, you talk so much" Percy muttered, hoisting Annabeth up, "Okay, Chase. Where do you want to go"

Annabeth made a shape with her hands, a rectangle.

"Draw?" Percy guessed, "Do you want to draw?"

Baby Annabeth grinned. Percy brought her back to the Galley, where they have claimed an empty space as drawing area.

Well, he thought to be scattered. The papers were in a neat pile, the pencil resting on top. Under the pencil was a small note. Percy placed Annabeth down and gave her the pencil and some of the paper where she had drawn already. The back part were still blank and it seems like a waste of paper to not use the back.

Percy picked up the small note that read: "Cleaned up the mess. Are these Annabeth's or Percy's? :D - Hazel "

"Okay, Hazel" Percy muttered, folding the note and placing it back at the top of the pile, "Ooookay"

Meanwhile, baby Annabeth was already drawing on the back of one paper. She was now using crayons to draw. Hazel probably brought them when she was cleaning up.

Percy decided to sit next to his baby-fied girlfriend and watch her draw.

Frank

Frank brought Jason outside, but he had an improvised leash consisting of his belts and bigger Jason's own belts wrapped around baby Jason. It wrapped around baby Jason's pudgy baby tummy and around his shoulders like backpack straps. You can never be too careful

"Nice harness, Zhang" Coach Hedge called out from the ballistae.

Frank looked at him, "I'll take that as a compliment, Coach"

"Hey, instead of looking at me, why don't you check on the kid" he called back.

Frank turned around and found that Jason was gone. The harness was lying on the ground.

"Oh gods" Frank muttered, "Not again"

"Fraaaaaaank?" Hazel called out, somewhere below the deck "Did you lose Jason?"

Well, at least he knows where Jason is.

Percy

Percy doze off while Annabeth was drawing. Seeing as Percy fell asleep, baby Annabeth crumbled up a piece of paper and placed it inside Percy's mouth, which was open, drool trailing down from the side of his mouth.

He woke up when the second crumbled paper entered his mouth. He spat it out, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. He turned to Annabeth, who was looking at him with wide grey eyes. Her eyes were wide in an innocent way

"You know, if you had stared at me like that before this baby fiasco, I would've been worried" Percy muttered, "because I'm the one who does the puppy dog eyes in this relationship"

Baby Annabeth started pulling on his hair when he raised her up on his shoulders, "Come on, let's go to the Mess Hall. I need water"

On the way, they passed Piper, who smiled, "Shift is over" she said, "Where's Frank?"

"I have no idea" Percy admitted, "Your boyfriend is a handful"

Piper rolled her eyes, "Help me find Frank and Jason so you can relieve yourself-"

"Finally" Percy sighed

"- from your babysitting duties" she continued.

Frank

"Come on, Jason" Frank sighed, holding up a dirty baby, "Why did you have to get yourself this dirty at my shift?"

Baby Jason just smiled and reached out to him. Hazel had found baby Jason in the Storage Area (how fast Jason got there, he didn't even want to know), covered in black goo and dirt. She had gently picked him up and was going to the direction of the stairs, when Frank bumped into them and now had black goo in the print of a baby on his shirt.

As Frank walked towards the showers, Leo passed by, whistling a tune and wiping his hands on a rag. He looked at the scene before him.

"Wow," Leo grinned, "You look like those single fathers that have no idea how a baby works. What happened to him?"

"Ha ha" Frank said, "Remember the buckets where you keep the oil that drips off Festus every now and then?"

Leo nodded

"He got into one of them. Toppled the bucket down and he rolled in it. Hazel found him"

"Ooh" Leo flinched. That was going to be difficult to wash off, "Well, good luck cleaning the baby", he said, ready to continue on his way, but Piper stopped him.

"Hold up, Leo" she said behind him. Behind her were Percy and baby Annabeth.

Leo turned to her, "What do you need, Beauty Queen?"

Piper picked the dirty Jason up from Frank's hands and placed them on Leo's equally dirty hands, "Your shift now"

"What about Annabeth?" Percy asked

Piper opened her arms, "Give her to me."

Percy slowly handed baby Annabeth over to Piper. Annabeth was clawing at Percy's shirt.

"Okay, she's going to stretch out my shirt" Percy noted.

Piper held onto Annabeth, "Let go of the shirt Annabeth. Percy will still be in the ship, it's just that I'm going to be the one watching you" Piper said.

Slowly, Annabeth's grip on Percy's shirt became loose. Soon enough, Annabeth's baby hands were around Piper's neck, her face nuzzled on her shoulder.

"Hey, she's asleep" Piper whispered, "Sweet. Thanks for tiring her out, Perce"

"Don't mention it" Percy said, "Now, if you excuse me, I have a date with my bed. I need a rest-"

"Hold on there, Fish Legs" Leo said, still carrying Jason on arm's length, "You're going to help me give him a bath"

Percy gave Leo an "are you serious" look. Leo gave him an "oh I am serious" look.

LEO AND PIPER'S SHIFT

Leo

The bathtub was halfway full so when Leo placed Jason in the tub, he won't drown (and if he did drown, it would be a funny way to go out. Imagine the gravestone. "Jason Grace, son of Jupiter, drowned in the bathtub of a flying warship while he was turned into a baby by an angry goddess. We will miss you always")

Percy stripped baby Jason down and placed him in the tub, where Leo had added bubbles. The water wasn't too cold or too hot.

Baby Jason played with the bubbles, splashing water everywhere. Leo got the wash cloth and started scrubbing baby Jason's arms, watching as the water around him turned dark. Percy washed his hair with shampoo while Leo held baby Jason, who was blinking the water away.

Then bubbles went in Jason's eye.

As the usual reaction goes, baby Jason cried, wiping his eyes.

"Oh schist" Percy whispered, splashing water on the baby's face to get rid of the suds, "No, don't cry"

"Wait, do you smell something?" Leo asked

Percy frowned at him, "Besides bubbles, soapy tar or oil, and the smell of tears? No not really"

"It smells like-"

Before Leo could've finished the sentence, shocks of electricity flowed out from Jason's body as he cried, shocking the two teenagers who had their unfortunate wet hands on him.

The hairs of their arms were singed off, being covered in water. Percy, the first one to break from the daze of being shocked, carried baby Jason off the tub and wrapped him in a towel, trying to stop him from crying.

"Shh, stop crying, Jason. Crying isn't cool, so is shocking people. Jason is cool, right?" Percy muttered, rocking Jason to stop the waterworks. Baby Jason eventually stopped crying, sniffling.

Percy looked at Leo, from had a mischievous grin on his face.

"Don't tell Jason I said those things" Percy said quickly.

"Yeah, yeah" Leo said

Piper

Piper tucked Annabeth in her bed, pulling the covers up to cover half of Annabeth. She didn't want to go into Percy and Annabeth's room, for privacy reasons.

In her sleep, baby Annabeth rolled around, her curly blonde hair going around the pillow. Once Piper was sure that baby Annabeth had fallen asleep, she went to the room where Annabeth's drawings were.

Piper won't admit it but she's a sucker for drawings made by children.

There's something in the stick-man drawings and the sun at the corner of the paper that makes her feel happy.

But she didn't actually find stick-man drawings in the papers.

No, instead she found sketches of building made from crayons and squiggly lines. Illustrations of the Argo II was drawn in a child's perspective. Festus' head was distinguished because of the color palette. Piper could tell Annabeth was trying to draw Percy. The black hair and green eyes gave it away.

She started collecting the papers, cleaning up the area. Hazel had cleaned up the clutter but Percy and Annabeth returned for another drawing session.

One drawing caught Piper's eye.

It was a drawing of the outer deck of the Argo, but there were something shiny in the railings as the baby drew it. Piper would've brushed of the shine as the sun reflecting off the railing shields, but, if Piper had remembered, Percy went out with Annabeth when it was fairly cloudy, so it wouldn't have been the sun.

Going through the drawings, Piper found more drawing similar to the last one. One was in the hall outside their cabins. One was in the Mess Hall. One was in the Galley.

Piper stiffened. She didn't know what these were but she is going to find out.

Carrying the stack of drawings, she placed them in the Mess Hall.

Leo

"Okay, Jason" Leo said, placing him on top of the table in the Engine Room." Leo is just going to work on something that he had been starting on ever since we all turned into babies"

Leo didn't know why he was even talking to baby Jason, but it made him feel less alone.

"Alright" he took out the necessary tools from his tool belt, "You stay there and play with this"

Leo handed baby Jason a toy, which was just a toy robot that Leo had tinkered during night when he couldn't sleep. Leo had second thoughts on giving the toy. Babies are known for having short attention spans. Jason might get bored and forget the toy.

But after a few minutes, Leo found that Jason was still playing with the robot's movable arms.

Smiling to himself, Leo continued on fixing one of the crossbows that got broken in one of the monster attacks.

Few minutes later, Leo's stomach growled. Baby Jason, who was now moving the robot legs from the joints, looked at Leo with a look that said "What was that noise?"

"Let's eat, li'l man" Leo said, standing up, "I need food in my stomach, and so do you". Baby Jason looked up as his name was called. Leo looked at the clock in the engine and saw that it was almost noon. But that was not all he saw.

"What the Hades?" Leo muttered, picking up a chair and stood on it so he was eye to eye with the wall clock. Inside the wall clock was something shiny, which is definitely not the glass reflecting. Leo removed the wall clock and stepped down from the chair.

He looked at the wall clock again, but the shine was gone. Leo decided to put the wall clock back later, after lunch.

Baby Jason, who had been watching the whole time, pointed at something in the wall. Leo looked at the direction where Jason was pointing at. He was pointing at where the wall clock was. On that spot was the shine Leo "found" in the wall clock.

Last time he checked, wood doesn't shine. Not unless it was polished with a lot of wax. But Leo doesn't polish the walls with wax.

He grabbed a cloth with oil and wiped it, making sure to leave smudge marks. That shiny area would be hell for his ADHD brain. He'd focus on that instead of what he was actually doing.

After staining the wall with oil marks, Leo picked up baby Jason and they went to the Mess Hall

Piper

They were in the Mess Hall, sitting around for lunch, which was just peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It was a pretty boring day, in terms of monster attacks.

It's like the monsters knew we were handling 2 babies.

Baby Annabeth hasn't stirred for a while, but Piper checked her breathing and, yes, she's still alive. Piper decided that it's okay to leave her alone for a few minutes for a lunch break.

Leo hasn't arrived yet, so baby Jason wasn't there. Percy, who had been roused from his sleep for lunch, was chewing on the sandwich lazily, his only goal to have something in his stomach. Hazel was checking the drawings, sipping on a glass of juice. Frank was trying to decipher one drawing.

"Is this supposed to be me?" he asked, showing her the drawing. Hazel narrowed her eyes and tilted her head. "I think it is", Hazel responded after a while, "I mean, you're the only black haired archer here. We all know how Percy is with a bow"

"Wow, thanks for the confidence boost Hazel" Percy said with a mouthful of sandwich, his fourth one in his hand.

"Sorry Percy"

Frank looked at the drawing again, pouting, "I am not fat. Is the purpose of today impromptu meeting is to insult my flabby arms?"

"Don't worry, it's muscle" Piper reassured him, "Anyways, that's not why I brought the drawings here. Look at these"

Piper picked out 5 drawings, drawing of the places Percy brought baby Annabeth to: The Galley, the Deck, etc.

"These are the places where I brought Annabeth in my shift. Well, in a baby's point of view. She still has better art skills than me. Look at that- you can know that she drew the corner of the room"

"We're not here to compare our art skills to babies too, Percy. Look at this" Piper pointed at one of the drawings. Her fingernail was on the shield railings outside., "See this one here? Annabeth drew a white diamond in that area"

"What about that diamond?" Leo asked as he walked in, baby Jason in hand.

"I checked that shield out and I found something. Well, I saw it. I can't really get it. It's like those things that appear in your eyesight whenever you stare into something bright for long then you look at a darker area. You know it's there, but only you can see it" Piper continued explaining.

"Like, something shiny?" Leo asked. Piper nodded, "Yeah, definitely something shin-"

Her sentence was cut off when there was a cry in Annabeth's room. Percy and Piper perked up and rushed up to the rooms. Meanwhile, Leo placed Jason down and let the blonde bundle crawl around. He picked up the drawings from the table and started going through them, making notes about it in his head.

Hazel and Frank stared at him as Leo started to take out a pencil from his toolbox and started encircling areas of the drawing. Few minutes later, Percy and Piper arrived, baby Annabeth holding on to Percy.

"Does this mean I have double shift?" Percy asked. Everybody ignored him and focused on what Leo was doing.

"What are you doing?" Pier asked, picking up baby Jason, who was tugging up her pant leg.

"These, Beauty Queen, are things I did not put in my boat" Leo said, tapping on the encircled areas, "As much as I love it shiny, I don't want any of us to be blinded because the ray of the sun hit the boat in the wrong way. Earlier today, I also noticed a shiny area in the engine room"

"And that means?" Hazel asked.

"That something is wrong, and I think we're being watched"

I tried "long chapter", but my brain is exhausted

Also, am I the only one who finds the new "bold style" hurtful to the eyes?

No? Just me? Well.
