Chapter 20 – Classes

After Luna had told Draco to be careful she grabbed a roll, got up leaving the dining room, and headed to her potions class. Course the potions class this year was taught by someone else the first potions master returning Horace Slughorn, her father Severus was now teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts. She took her usually seat in the back of the room and pulled her stuff out along with her potions book. She opened her book and made a few notes on her paper. She heard the door open and in walked the professor he took notice of her and walked over so he stood in front of her, "You're in here early."

She nodded her head to him. "You're in Slytherin house, there never in here early."

"I am not like most people in my house and I have only been attending Hogwarts for; this will be my second year," she said to the professor.

"What's your name?" he asked

"Luna, Luna Snape."

"Ah one of Snape's kids. Tell me are you talented in potions like your father?" he asked her

"I like to believe so. I'm good at making potions."

He nodded his head and looked at her notes, "Already getting a head start on the notes for today?"

"I wouldn't know you don't have them up I'm just writing down information I think is important."

He nodded his head to her, "I think you'll do just fine in this class Miss Snape," he then turned and headed to his board and started to write the notes down for the day. Other students started to arrive to class five minutes before class began they all took their seats and the professor then turned around and face them, "Welcome students, I am professor Slughorn. I will show no favor to any house so expect for some of you for this class to be harder. Now I have written some notes on the board and I suggest you write them down."

Luna had no problems writing the notes or anything she didn't even read what she was copying down she was lost once again in her thoughts of how she was planning on telling Harry and once class was over she had finally figured out how she was going to do it. She was going to transfer information with the touch of her hand. It took a lot of energy to do something like that but she knew she could do it. Her next class for that year was Divination and once again she found Harry and Ron in the class with her. She took a seat next to them and turned to face Harry, "Harry."

"Yes, Luna?"

"Don't freak out with what I'm about to do," she stated and before he could respond she placed her hand on top of his and everything she knew and what she was doing since she started school at Hogwarts was transferred to him. The teacher walked in moments later and began talking but Harry just stared at her with a look of shock on his face. It was quiet between the two of them the whole class but Ron kept asking Harry what happened. The three of them headed out to Hagrids class next and Hermione met up with them half way.

"Hey Luna how are you today?" Hermione asked her.

"I'm fine," Luna replied, Harry then stopped them.

"Luna why did you show me that?" Harry asked still confused.

"Because I want to help and that's the only way I can," she explained and then realized they were being stared at by most of the school for some reason. "Now you have to tell me that you never want to see me again or have me talk to any of you," Luna said with a pleading look in her eyes.

"Why?" Ron asked

"It is the only way I can get out of this part alive and keep you guys safe. Plus then I can try to keep me, Draco, and my father alive."

"Why would you want to help Draco?" Hermione asked

"I am marrying him. But I can't do that if he's died. He's going to fail and I can't lose him. And don't ask me why but I love him and I know he can be someone else if it wasn't for this war," she stated tears coming to her eyes. "Please for all of us just do it."

Harry nodded his head to her, the other two were confused but before it started Luna touched both of their hands in a simply embrace. Now everything she had told them made sense to the other two and before they began, she spoke, "You can't tell anyone what I showed you or it could change fate," she explained.

After that it began causing a scene so everyone outside would hear especially the Slytherin house.

"Luna we don't want you around anymore," Ron started it was vague and not what she expected at first she wanted more.

"Oh how come?" she was calm and collect as she answered.

"Because you're a Slytherin that's why," Harry added his voice actually holding some venom in it.

"That didn't bother you before."

"Well truth be told we were just using you. Getting close to see if you would tell us anything," Ron added.

Luna could swear she saw Hermione roll her eyes at how Ron was going about it and so Hermione took over, "We don't trust you, we don't like you, there is something about you that just screams evil. We wouldn't be surprised if you ended up being his heir or merlin forbid helped him with obtaining one," Hermione finished. With the last part, she was implying Luna really tried not to look like she was going to puke from that. That was just disgusting. Luna came back with her own words, "Fine but you better watch it from now on," she hissed back at them and then left leaving them standing there as she headed to class.

Even though they all knew, it was to keep them safe they all wondered if they were never really friends what they could actually have said. None of them could show any guilt about what they said and if they had to interact with each other, they had to be mean. Luna got to class and stayed far away from everyone just observing and watching the people around her. She closed her eyes and let out a breath but when she opened her eyes, there was no one around her. She wasn't on the school grounds anymore she was standing in a dark field with mist covering the ground all the way up to her waist. What was happening? She was confused. "Hello?" she called out.

"There is my lovely seer," the voice said in a hissing manor.

She recognized the voice and turned towards it seeing him, "What do you want?" she asked holding a firm voice.

"Just clarifying what is going to happen. Your husband is going to succeed correct?" he asked

"Yes," she said plainly.

He smiled an evil smile and stepped towards her, "You are lucky you hold this other trait or your break-up with Harry would have ended badly for you."

She didn't look surprised he knew; he would already know what had happened. "Pleased I can be of service, can I go back to my class?" she questioned

"Not without a little remind of what will happen if your visions don't come true or you betray me," he stated. For the second time in her life, she experienced the pain of the crucio curse, she blacked out then.

When she came to, she found herself in the hospital wing. She didn't try to move she still felt like she was in pain. "Luna, what happened?" came Draco's voice he had noticed her open her eyes.

She moved her eyes to him and stared, "Just a reminder," she stated.

"What do you mean just a reminder?" Draco questioned her. She looked at him tears in her eyes, "He wasn't happy about the break-up with Harry and his group. If my predictions don't come true…" she trailed off.

"Luna," Draco said looking at her.

"He gets in, you get him in but after that," she was ready to cry really.

"Calm down," he stated to her and reached over and moved her hair back. "Calm down and relax okay?"

She looked at him, she sat up in the bed, "Draco for merlin's sake how am I supposed to be calm at all," she stated her voice slightly raising.

"What is going on out here?" Madam Pomfrey's voice came.

Draco looked at her, "Nothing," he stated to her.

"It doesn't seem like nothing. Now Mr. Malfoy how about you go back to your house and let Miss Snape rest," she stated to him, it was more of a command but she seemed to have a way with doing that. Draco got up then and left the room and she went back to sleep well not even sleep really she was more awake if anything. Her mind was active it was running around. She couldn't take it. She threw the sheets off and made her way out of the room and headed towards the Slytherin common rooms. She gave the password and ended walking in all eyes on her.

"Luna shouldn't you be…" one of the girls started.

She cut the person off, "Where's my stuff?" she asked.

"Draco's room," another girl pointed to his room.

She walked towards his room and opened the door. She went towards her trunk and started throwing things, "Where is it," she mumbled to herself.

"Luna, what are you doing?" Draco's voice came from behind her.

"Looking for something," she commented.

"What are you looking for?" He asked taking a step closer to her.

"My crystal," she stated.

Draco came over to where she was and pulled her to her feet, "Luna stop," he stated looking into her eyes. "You don't need it, think it's time for a break. Somethings are better left unknown at this point okay," he stated to her.

She stared at him for a few moments, "But," she started.

"No. We need to get you back to the infirmary," he stated.

"No. I, I don't need to be there all I'm doing is thinking right now," she stated to him.

"I have things to go do… So just stay in here okay?" he stated to her.

"Can't you just stay with me please," she asked looking at him.

"I have to go do this I'll come back later. And your crystal isn't in here. I put it somewhere so you won't find it," he stated to her before he left the room.

Luna was left alone she sat on the edge of the bed but then ended up just sitting on the floor and started to cry. It was all messed up, she was utterly fucked, it was going to end badly she could just feel it. She kept crying and she didn't even hear the door open or the person come near her. She felt the person that was in the room wrap an arm around her shoulders. She turned her head into them and started crying into their chest, it was Seth that had entered and he didn't say anything to her.

She kept crying into her brother for a bit longer before she spoke, "I want this to end, I want it to stop," she stated finally.

"It will soon enough," he stated in a plain tone.

"I don't want it to end that way, with so many dying," she stated pulling away slightly to look at him.

"Just accept it sister, it's going to happen."

She watched him then as he got up and headed out of the room. She stayed there and watched the door that was in front of her. She didn't know how long she was sitting there just looking, waiting but when it finally opened and Draco walked in he looked tired. He noticed her, "Luna your still awake." He stated looking at her. "You should be asleep."

"You should have been back a few ago," she commented.

"Do you even know what time it is?" he asked her.

"No," she answered.

"Come on," he stated and pulled her to her feet. "Let's go take a shower," he said. She nodded her head to him, "Go on I'll meet you in a few," he stated to her. She headed off to the bathroom that was in his room, she turned the water on and while it was warming up she took her clothes off and dropped them into a pile. She then got into the shower letting the water go all through her hair. She let out a breath, the water was soothing at least. "You feel better?" Draco's voice came from behind her. She turned and looked at him. "I won't feel better till this is over."

He lifted her chin up so she meet his eyes. He didn't say anything to her just stared at for a few moments before he kissed her. She just enjoyed it for the few seconds it lasted. He pulled away from her slightly, "Whatever happens Luna, you'll be okay," he stated to her.

"You can't know that," she stated to him.

"No, but like you said it only ends one way for Tom," he stated.

"Our lives are still up in the air though. Your life is still up in the air," she stated to him.

"Yours is all that matters," he stated to her and kissed her again. This time she kissed him back he pressed her back against the wall it was cold but she was able to ignore that as she continued to kiss him. He moved his hand into her hair and pushed it back. She pulled away from him slightly, "Are you mad with me?" she asked.

He looked at her, "No. I… You know have a lot going on," he stated to her.

"I need you to be careful okay," She stated to him.

"Getting sentimental are we?" he asked.

"I'm attached," she stated with a smile before she moved past him and got out. She put clothes on and once she finished Draco came out. "Time for bed I think," he stated to her.

Luna nodded her head to him and got into the bed. She fell to sleep pretty quickly with him.

Okay I am so sorry this has taken like a year for an update. Between working full time then not really having an idea on how to make it to the next part, I reread the whole story and was able to write this for you. Anyways, it's a little mushy and I was so tempted on them actually getting together here but decided it wasn't right quiet yet. Anyways hope you enjoyed this part.
