The meeting with the Trafalgar family was going well, Imeitsu was paying attention for once. In the middle of the bosses speech Imeitsu's phone began ringing.

He was met with death glares by the family's subordinates. Imeitsu discreetly checked the caller ID from under the table, it was Reborn. Nono smiled at him, seeing the movement

"Take it outside if you wish". Imeitsu excused himself as he closed the door behind him. He looked around the mansions hallways and seeing nobody he opened his phone and put it to his ear.

"Hi Reborn! How's my darling wife and little Tuna-Fish?" He whisper-yelled into the phone. He heard a slight cough on the other side.

Something wasn't right.

Reborn never showed weakness. Immediately Imeitsu turned serious. "What's wrong with my family Reborn" When no words met his plea he yelled "Tell me!". A sigh was heard.

"Tsuna is dead".

Those three words were all it took to tear apart the Lion of the Vongloa's heart. He slid down the wall to his knees, both hands clutching the phone.

"D-Dead?" He said, but it was impossible. His little Tsuna was having fun with is friends, right? Playing and enjoying his youth. Reborn was lying.

"He's n-not dead, he can't be!" He denied though the tears that began leaking from his eyes. Even his body was betraying him. Reborn wouldn't lie about something so serious.

"I'm sorry Imeitsu, he contacted cancer and died yesterday". Imeitsu couldn't deny it, his little boy was dead. Imeitsu dropped the phone and gathered his knees up to his chest. He brought his arms up and cried openly. He wailed as tears stained his suit.

The door was opened and Nono stepped out. Shocked at seeing his good friend wailing like a child, he lent down.

"What happened Iemitsu?" He said as he stared at his friend. When no answer met his ears he picked up the forgotten phone.

"What happened?" He asked into the phone.

"Tsunayoshi is dead" Reborn answered his boss. Nono's eyes widened.

"Dear God...my grandson" Nono said. "What are we going to do?" He said trying to get a firm grasp on what to do, to not let himself fall into grief-as the boss he had to support everyone in times of grief and pain.

"His funeral is two days from now" Reborn answered, pain evident in his voice from talking about the very thing he wanted to avoid.

"Okay, Thank you Reborn. I'll tell Imeitsu" Nono replied as he shut the phone.

The funeral was a small quiet affair with the close family and Vongola famiglia since Tsuna didn't have many friends.

Each guardian was dressed in their finery and flame class colours. Nana wept silently the whole time, clutching onto Imeitsu who had tears flowing freely from his eyes as he watched Nono's guardians carry Tsuna's little coffin towards his resting place.

The guardians stood with heads held low, tears leaking from all eyes, even from the ones who wouldn't dare cry did.

Tsuna's coffin was placed on its stand and opened to reveal the dead boy, allowing the onlookers to pay their respects.

While the others did a good job of hiding their emotions, Hayato couldn't. He fell to his knees in front of Tsuna's coffin, crying and screaming for his boss to come back. Bianchi left her place to pick up her little brother, who clutched onto her for comfort that Tsuna's cold body could no longer give.

Iemitsu started to walk to the boys coffin, fists clenched onto the white rose he carried. He stopped as he reached his son. The coffin was made from black wood with gold handles and lining. Inside Tsuna was laying on a bed of white lilies, he was dressed in a white suit with a orange tie. His hands were folded over his chest.

"See my boy, I always knew you would look nice in a suit" he said the body. The boys eyes were closed in his slightly sunken face. Imeitsu wished they were open. He wanted them to open so he could prove that his little boy wasn't dead, but simply sleeping. But those eyes where never going to open again.

Never again would his little boy wake up.

He felt tears fill up in his eyes, clouding his vision. He blinked to rid them, letting them fall down his face. His body began shaking along with sobs that escaped his lips. His little boy never got to grow up at all.

Dying at the mere age of 15 was just unfair. His life was beginning to open up to him. He had friends, something that he never had before. He had a promising future. He could of changed the world. But cancer had to take him away from his loved ones.

Imeitsu lifted up a frail hand and placed his rose in between Tsuna's hands. He rested his hands on his sons. Shaking with his sobs he leaned forward and placed a kiss on his little boys head.

"You were a good boy for Papa even when I left you, for that I am so sorry. But now it's time for you to sleep" he said into Tsuna's hair. He pulled away from the body.

"Goodbye my little boy" Iemitsu said. Slowly Nono's guardians closed the casket as Imeitsu moved out of the way. They lifted the coffin as it began to rain. The rain glittered off the large gold X on Tsunayoshi's coffin as he was lowered into the ground.

The 4 guardians slowly piled the dirt of the coffin, covering the X. The head stone was set at the head of the grave.

The guardians moved away and left. Slowly everyone left the grave of the 15 year old, leaving Imeitsu and Nana on their own. The parents stood at the foot of the grave of their little boy, soaked by the pelting rain. Imeitsu held Nana close as he read the words on his sons tombstone:

His true wealth was in his generous heart. And what endless wealth he did have

How true that was. Tsuna loved openly and with his whole heart. He accepted all people good and bad, troubled and absent-minded. Even when they tried to kill him, he would accept them into his heart. He truly was the accepting sky.

I hope it was good, and sad.
