Disclaimer/AN: Hey y'all new chapter! I've decided to do this one in Remus' Point of veiw and if it goes well you can expect to see more viewpoints throughout the story. Let me know what you think of this style, it let's me give you some insight as to what the others are thinking instead of just Phoebe, and I know a few of you wanted that. Anyhow, I'll get on with it. And like always I own my story and Phoebe but JK the goddess owns all else.

I woke to find my arm asleep and Phoebe's warm body next to mine, and when I say next to, I mean her left leg was hitched over my waist and her face was smashed against my chest. One of her arms was resting heavily across my stomach and the other was at her side. Despite the sleeping arrangements I was quite comfortable, and I knew she was alright with it because her mouth was moving in a wordless conversation that she often had while she slept.

I fell back asleep to the sounds of her breathing, but not for long. The shrill of Madame Pomfrey was too undeniable to sleep through.

"Oh Merlin!" The matron had her hand over her heart. I supposed she'd come to check in on me and found Phoebe as a bit of a surprise. She was scarcely clothed, not that I'd noticed, and our sleeping arrangements were on the more intimate side of friendly. Again, not that I'd noticed.

Phoebe woke up to the shrill cries of the middle aged witch saying things like, "Far too close. Inappropriate. He hasn't healed yet. Promiscuity in my hospital wing," She turned to face me, giving Pomfrey more to huff about as her, or rather my, old shirt rode up past her midriff. I tried not to look but the wolf in me just had to. I blame the wolf, but if I were being honest I wanted to see just as badly.

I'd always loved Pheebs, but the changes she'd gone through over the summer made me realize that I couldn't keep her as just a friend; it would send me straight to Mungo's. The downside to me realizing this was the realization that other boys had probably had this thought.

Merlin even Sirius had had the thought this year. I needed to think of ways to show her I cared more than she'd imagine. But right now, with her next to me, I couldn't think at all.

"Good morning Love," She smiled at me, sleep coating her eyes and voice. Not three words and she was driving me crazy. Thank Merlin I had a good poker face.

"Morning Love," I smiled, more awake than she was, "You might want to cover up," I motioned to her fully exposed legs, the ones driving me and Madame Pomfrey crazy. Though for different reasons I expected.

"Why," Phoebe pulled her signature mock pout, the one she'd had since we were first years, "Don't you like the view," If she only knew.

I was far too tired to play her games today, but thankfully I didn't have to. The other three of my best mates came strolling through the door at that moment.

"Morning Moony, Pheebs," Sirius yelled. I noticed that Pomfrey had given up and retired to her office. She couldn't stand Sirius. Well, most teachers couldn't stand Sirius.

"Or shall I say evening," James added, "You love birds have been sleeping all day,"

I hoped the blush didn't show, although at this point I wouldn't be surprised.

"Well obviously I haven't been sleeping too long. You lot are still the immature brats I left hours ago," I smiled. It was true, these boys haven't changed a bit.

I remember when I first met them all. I was asleep in one of the compartments on the express, having had a restless night after the moon. They'd come in, they being James and Peter, and sat down not bothering to wake me. To my knowledge Sirius came, needing a break from the "worthless Slytherin lot," and had sought refuge with us. I woke up an hour later to find them all peering at me, Sirius' grey eyes were mischievous, James glasses had been askew, and Peter had a welcoming smile. We bonded over nothing, and everything. I felt normal; well as normal as a wizarding boy could feel. It felt as though I'd left my Lycanthropy back home.

But it wasn't till I met Phoebe that I felt right. We ran into her at the sweets trolley. She didn't like to tell the story but we found her trying to nick some of the chocolate. I watched her wide eyed as she pinched a candy bar all the while making distinct conversation with the old witch who ran the cart. Sirius had a wide grin on his face as he caught on to what she was doing, and James was absolutely awestruck (though I saw him slip a Galleon onto the trolley for payment). It wasn't until we'd followed her later that we let on that we knew, she blushed and begged us not to tell. But none of us even had the thought in mind when we saw her smile. It was just the right amount of knowing, candidness, and blatant manipulation. The five of us fell together instantly.

Now Sirius' eyes still had that mischievous glint, but I knew what hardships he'd faced despite it. James had better glasses now, but they often fell to the right when he was thinking, worried, or both. Peter's welcoming had never wavered but rather grew, now he was needed as an honest, lean-to sort of friend. And Phoebe had changed in all the best ways, but whenever I missed the old toothy grins she used to flash my way, she was right there to deliver them.

We were down by the lake, under our usual tree. It was a bit nippy out so I had my cloak, Pheebs had my cardigan. She claimed her own was too threadbare to keep her warm, but clearly that wasn't the case as mine was far shabbier, and two years older. I let her take my clothes though, because she looked better in them than I did.

James was playing catch with his snitch, Sirius was jinxing the snitch and calling out to passing girls. Pete was asleep, and I was reading. Well trying to read, I kept rereading the same paragraph because my mind was too busy with Phoebe's finger drawing patterns across my legs. I wasn't ticklish in any sense, but with her it was as if sparks were dancing across my skin, and I couldn't take much more of it.

"I am trying to read you know," I looked down at her.

"I know," She smiled, "But I got bored waiting for you to turn the page," I sighed. Turning the page and handing her my book. Anything to stop that intoxicating finger.

"I'm hungry," Sirius whined. I was actually quite hungry myself, now that he'd mentioned it.

"Me too, let's head in," I got up and shook the dirt off my helpless cloak.

"Pete. Wormtail, darling," Phoebe was coaxing Peter out of sleep with a sweet voice. "We're going to get food, wakeup," He was up in an instant.

Leaving the kitchens after our little snack proved to be quite an adventure. We were stuck in the halls, after hours, which meant that we had to avoid prefects. Never mind the fact that I was one, I was supposed to be "on family business," till Monday, Dumbledore's orders. This meant that I was excused from prefect duties, meaning if someone caught me I'd have a hard time lying about it.

It seemed quiet in the halls when we decided to make our break for the common room, but the Hogwarts hallways were sometimes deceiving. Tonight was no exception; just as we we're rounding a corner, we heard the footsteps and echoing voice of Snape,

"I heard someone come this way," His distinctly slow voice was unmistakable, and growing louder. We needed to move now, because if Snape, and all his vindictive fury, caught us tonight we'd be in detention for the week. Not so bad, but I hated the foul, tiresome evenings wasted.

James, Peter, and Sirius had already weaseled themselves around the corner and were escaping down the hall towards the stairs. Unfortunately Pheebs and I weren't quick enough. We were just halfway down the hall when Snape, and Lily Evans unsurprisingly, rounded the corner. I thought I was done for, but before I knew it the manicured hand that was in mine pulled me into a portrait hole.

It was cramped, and we were close, but we were hidden and that's all I cared about for now. I was just catching my breath when I felt her hands on me. Her fingers were ruffling through my hair and loosening my tie.

"What the bloody hell are you doing," I whispered to her bewildered. She was now busy tousling her own appearance.

"Don't be stupid Moony," She huffed unbuttoning the top three buttons on her blouse. I looked away quickly. "They'll catch us whether we're hidden or not. But if we're caught like this they'll never even think to look for the others or ask questions," She whispered to me. Her eyes were alight with that classic mischief they had always held, and I had to admit it was brilliant.

"They're in here," I heard Snape's voice right through the portrait, he was obviously pleased with himself. I didn't hold any animosity towards Snape, but he never really helped himself win my favour, and times like this proved my point.

The portrait started to creak open and I felt my hands being pulled to Phoebe's waist. I played my part, trying to hide the shock as I felt her face buried against my neck. For the ruse we were pulling it was the best position. It made her look as if she was snogging me senseless when we was actually just holding back giggles against the sensitive skin on my neck. It was half true, I suppose, I was senseless, and the position was compromising. But I didn't have time to object, Snape had the portrait open, revealing us in all our glory, to the eyes of Lily and him.

We broke apart quickly. I noticed that the flush on my face was, for once, mirrored in Phoebe's. Though our faces were nothing compared to the absolute shock written across theirs. Lily's mouth was wide open, her green eyes were like dinnerplates. Snape was even more appalled, or was it awestruck. Whatever it was we'd caught them both by surprise, and obviously the ruse had worked as it was supposed to. Lily caught her footing first.

"R-Remus," She stuttered, at a loss for words, "I thought you were visiting your mum,"

"He was," Phoebe was quick to reply, "But he came back early and surprised me," She let that sink in for a moment, then continued.

"None of the boys know so we'd love if you kept this a secret," She looked to Lily now, "You know how they can be a bit of a challenge, especially James,"

Lily seemed to buy this, most likely falling for the James bit. Snape, however, was not having any of it. With Lily, it looked as though puppydog eyes would get us off with no detention, but for Snape we had to really push this if we wanted to get off free.

"Why all the sneaking around in the first place," He nosed suspiciously.

"I don't exactly want them screwing this up do I," I looked to Snape. He seemed a little more eased. "We want to take it slowly, I'd hate to lose our friendship because we pushed something too far," That sold Snape one hundred percent. I was hoping to parallel his qualms regarding Lily, and with his response, I think I got it right.

"Well we'll keep your secret, won't we Sev. Just as long as you're not caught like this again," Lily was an angel. Not all the time, but tonight she was truly a Godsend.

"Thanks Lily," I smiled, taking Phoebe's hand in mine for good measure, "Sorry about patrols tonight. I'm glad Severus was so willing to step in,"

"No problem Remus, I hope your mum's feeling better," With that they were off and Phoebe and I were free to breath a sigh of relief.

"Peebs you're brilliant. Absolutely brilliant," I gave her a small grin which she returned full force.

"As are you Remmy. But let's get back, your acting has left me in need of a long shower," I'm sure my face was beet red again, or maybe ghostly white. Either way, that girl always knew how to get a rise out of me.

I woke up on Monday feeling the dull ache in my bones that always came with the aftermath of a full moon. Pushing the familiar pain aside I got up and hopped in the shower. Thank god it was magically kept immaculate, four boys sharing one bathroom could get disgusting. The steam fogged up around me and the heat released some of the tension in my bones, but it was over before I knew it.

Sirius had come to get me out, claiming his hygiene was more important than mine. I didn't bother arguing, so that's how I found myself face to face with Phoebe, like always on my bed waiting for us to get ready. I had only a towel round my waist, but she didn't seem to mind. Instead she got up and headed over to Sirius' bed like she always does. But something about this time felt different.

"Did you have a nice shower Remus," She winked over at me, referring to last night probably.

"Sirius kicked him out," Peter cut in, unknowingly.

Our days went along like they always did, and for a while I got lost in the relaxed pattern that we'd maintained. Sirius would chat up other girls, but inevitably it was Marlene he'd see late at night. James outdid every other "Lily," attempts by charming the ceiling to read "Lilyflower, be mine," for an entire week, it was actually quite an impressive display of magic; Dumbledore must've thought so as well because James got off with a warning. Peter was slowly but surely winning the affections of a simple Hufflepuff girl. She was exactly the type of girl that would be good for Pete, and we were all helping him along as best we could. Phoebe had been gaining more and more attention from boys around the school, but whether or not she noticed was her secret. She seemed to only have time for us though, and Alice I suppose. I was glad for this, but it also came with the unrelenting torment of her peculiar form of teasing. I was still hopelessly out of depth.

This particular day was a cold autumn Thursday, and coincidentally the day of Quidditch trials. This meant that James had his mind on the sport and nothing but. He wasn't the youngest Quidditch Captain in Hogwarts history for nothing. His planning had been thorough to say the least. He'd spent the last three days bent over his playbook, which Lily must've appreciated as it gave her a break from his affections.

Speaking of Lily, every time I had prefect duties with her, she'd ask me about me and Phoebe. Which was easy enough to skirt around, but it was her knowing smiles during classes that were harder to avoid. Phoebe had said that Lily even tried getting information out of her in the dorms, and apparently Lily's inquisitions were almost as bad as the Spanish.

Anyways it was cold, I know this because I was huddled in the stands as James was holding tryouts with the help of Sirius. Beside me was of course Phoebe, but surprisingly Marlene and Lily had made the trip out to support the sport. Well it was mostly to scope out the boys, but I wouldn't judge them. They could've been out there to support Alice, who was a fairly good chaser alongside Frank. I truly loved the sport, I couldn't play seeing as I wasn't good enough and my Wolfish tendencies would get in the way, but I loved to watch.

Which is exactly what I did as they took to the skies and did laps around the pitch. All the candidates looked promising, but James had the real eye for this sort of thing.

"Oh look Rem, he almost slipped," Phoebe said beside me. I tore my eyes off the pitch to look at her.

The copper strands in her caramel coloured hair picked up in the sunshine as it played upon her mussed curls. The green in her hazel eyes was effervescent as she watched the pitch with amusement. Cherry was the only colour to describe her lips, which were drawn into a full smile that made something in my chest burn. I was staring, and she knew it.

"You're missing all the action," She grinned, turning to me. I wondered if I looked as good to her as she did to me. I couldn't possibly.

"You are too," I said pointedly. Her eyes swept back to the trials then, and I followed her lead.

"Come here," She pulled me close and dug her hands into my pockets. "I need your wolfish heat," Thank Merlin it was cold that Thursday.

"I've got it," Peter called bringing us the cocoa he'd gone to get from the kitchens. We were all sitting around the fireplace as usual, but Marlene was cuddled up with Sirius on the plush armchair. I could tell this addition wasn't alright with Pheebs, because she couldn't stand Marlene and because she was being more snarky than usual.

"Hogsmeade weekend is coming up," Marlene announced, accepting her cocoa with a wink to Peter. Sirius had his hand draped across her waist effortlessly.

"Every weekend is Hogsmeade weekend when you know the right people love," He smirked.

I missed her response as I took the mug from Pete, thanking him.

He turned to give Phoebe her cup but tripped, sending the hot chocolate all over her and the couch.

"Are you fucking serious," Phoebe nearly yelled. Not mad at wormtail, just the situation.

Unfortunately that was when Marlene thought it would be great to make a joke.

"Yes," she giggled at the pun she'd made; also smugly announcing to the room that she was shagging the dog-like Marauder. Sirius started laughing at that, and when James got the joke he laughed as well. In fact everyone was laughing except Pheebs, who was in no mood to laugh, and me, because I didn't fancy Marlene to be clever.

"Goodnight," She spat pointedly at the boys, and especially Marlene, before huffing upstairs.

AN: So yet again not much happens here, but Remus and Pheebs get closer. Also we get to see how Remus feels about Phoebe which is obvious to everyone but her. Hope you enjoy, sorry for the wait. Love you all! Please Review
