This Corrosion 20 (Epilogue)

Fujitaka poured a cup of coffee and watched as Touya came into the kitchen wearing one of his lopsided grins. For once, his son had gotten plenty of sleep, because he'd had the night off from work. Fujitaka poured a second cup and sat at the table. Touya joined him and thanked him for the coffee.

"So Inoue said you can take Yukito home today? This week hasn't been easy on you to be apart from him, but I do believe he needed some time to himself." Fujitaka had kept close tabs behind the scenes for Touya's sake. Inoue told him that, basically, Yukito had some depression related to losing his parents, which was understandable.

Touya had lost Nadeshiko at ten years old, so Fujitaka figured his son and Yukito had a bond because of losing parents when they first developed their friendship three years ago. Indeed, both seemed to strongly gravitate towards each other.

But Fujitaka now knew it was stronger and deeper than an orphan seeking out comfort from a boy who had lost his mother. Their bond was based on mutual affection, and Fujitaka could understand. His bond with Nadeshiko was just as strong. Fujitaka's love for her wasn't accepted. He was glad to see Touya and Yukito's relationship was more accepted than his marriage to Nadeshiko. He hoped that would continue.

Fujitaka was very proud of Touya for his consistent role with Yukito's "recovery." Touya had visited Yukito each day with pastries and fancy coffee drinks from where he worked. Fujitaka wasn't surprised Touya wanted to be the one to get Yukito settled back at his home on this day.

"Doctor Inoue would have preferred it if Yukito's grandparents picked him up, but they'll be busy during that time," Touya said. Fujitaka wasn't nearly as naive as his children thought. He just chose to ignore a few supernatural things that could help his children's general happiness.

"Yes, it would seem you can check him out at one o'clock, during your lunch. You know, I think Sakura and her two friends Tomoyo and Syaoran have a math test at school about that time, too." Fujitaka wanted to chuckle at his son's sudden suspicious expression at his subtle hint of knowing what they were all up to all along. Fujitaka only put on an innocent smile and sipped his coffee. "Anyway, have you talked to Yukito about his plans?"

"What kind of plans, Father?"

"To adjust to his life as he's trying to go through grief counseling. I know you have plans for your studies and career. You are carrying forward with those plans for college. You've never told me what he plans to do after high school."

"I've arranged for him to take over my job at the coffee shop when I go to college in a few months. I found another job at the campus bookstore. And I guess I better tell you something we decided when I visited him yesterday. I just wanted to sleep on it and make sure it was what I wanted and that it would be right for Yukito," Touya said and then took a deep breath. "Yukito's grandparents decided to sell their house, move to France, and let him have the money. We decided to move by the college campus and share an apartment.

"I figured we can afford to live on the money from the sale of the house, but save up the bulk of the money by living in student housing. When I graduate, I'll find a job that'll bring in a lot more money, and then we can look at getting better housing. I've been giving this some serious thought, lately. I even have a budget planned out for us, if you want to see it."

Fujitaka's eyes popped open. He was surprised at Touya's sudden desire to set up a home with Yukito, when he hadn't started his college studies yet and Yukito was just now leaving a sanitarium. This didn't seem like the best timing, and Fujitaka felt fatherly concern over this seemingly hasty move.

"Not that I dislike him at all, you know that. I really do like him and don't disapprove of you dating him, but living together is a huge step. You'll have to study and won't have much free time for him. Not only that, but you have to take into account Yukito's home studies.

"His case worker will start investigating you, too. Inoue said they're supportive of same sex relationships, but they'll still be very guarded in favor of the patient. They'll want to make sure you're a strong support system for him. They'll want to see that you can be equals as far as mental, physical, and financial categories."

"Yuki knows that. He told me he wants to take care of things for me while I get through college. I didn't feel comfortable at first, but we sorted out what could work for us. I really want to live with him. I know we could be so good for each other. I need his support, and I know he needs mine. I know I'm ready to do this, Father. I want to take care him."

Fujitaka took a deep breath and gave him a faint smile. "You told him you loved him, didn't you?"

"Yeah, I did, and I mean it," Touya said in earnest.

Fujitaka gave his son a nod and said, "That means you have a serious responsibility towards Yukito. Even if he has a lot of money suddenly to support you at first, it doesn't mean things will be easy." Fujitaka didn't miss the frown on Touya's face. Fujitaka pushed a brighter smile on his face. "Not that it'll be all horrible! Listen, I guess, this is me realizing, also, you'll be leaving soon and being your own man. I guess... I'm trying to still parent you when you don't really need it anymore."

Fujitaka took a sip of his coffee to get rid of the sudden lump in his throat and the tears threatening to flow. This was his first child planning on leaving home, so this was new, uncharted territory for him. Touya shook his head and gave a rueful snort. "I'll always need you butting into my life, so don't think you're shoving me out of the nest too far. I mean, when I go to college, I plan on hanging out in your office during lunch and raiding your mini-fridge all the time."

Fujitaka felt a small chuckle bubble up in spite of his sense of losing his son to adult life. "I'll hold you too that."

"Also... Father... Do I have your blessing to move out with Yukito at the end of the summer? I know I made all these plans without asking, but it would give me some peace of mind to know we have your approval."

Fujitaka was having trouble repressing his tears now. How could he not have tears of joy over raising such a fine and honorable son that was now a fine and honorable young man? He patted Touya's upper arm and said, "Your mother would be so proud of you right now. I know you'd have her blessing along with mine."

Touya smiled and said a deep and sincere, "Thank you."

Fujitaka, wanting to move the conversation to less heavy topics, said, "You know, you better bring Yukito here at dinner time."

Touya scowled with slumped shoulders. "Not that 'Surprise Coming Home Party' Sakura is planning for Yuki."

Fujita snickered. "Now be nice. She worked very hard. Just don't eat her homemade spinach dip and you'll be fine. Besides, I think it'd be good for Yukito to know you aren't the only one that cares he's back where he belongs."

"Okay, okay, but if the little monster gives me food poisoning, I won't be happy."

Fujitaka chuckled. "Oh you can be charitable. I'm sure you owe her a giant favor recently. Right?"

Fujitaka got some satisfaction from seeing his son's shoulders slump again at being backed into a corner. Now that Touya didn't have his sixth sense, he found it a little easier to tease him, not that Fujitaka would ever take that too far.

"Yeah, you could say that," Touya admitted dryly.

"And so we need to get a good signal going," Touya explained at the door of his family home. "If I touch my nose on the right side, it means you want to go home because you're tired. If I touch my nose on the left side, it means you want to go home because you're tired."

Yukito was giving him a baffled look. "But... Touya... either way..."

"Yeah, now you get it? I want to ditch this party so bad. Help me or else."

Yukito asked innocently, "Or else what?"

Touya gave him a devious look. "Press me and find out your punishment, or obey me and get a reward." Touya leaned over and whispered, "Your choice, Yuki."

Yukito's face was maroon when Sakura flung open the door. "Yukito! I'm glad Touya didn't hog you all up!"

Yukito smiled brightly and said, "He was about to."

"Thanks, you little tattle tale," Touya griped.

Yukito chuckled, and Touya let Sakura fawn over his boyfriend. There were several people from their respective schools already mixing. Fujitaka and a couple of fellow college instructors were also there to chaperon and play their weekly bridge game in the kitchen. Everyone greeted Yukito warmly. Touya noticed Yukito was surprised, but then he seemed to grow very humbled and happy at everyone's well wishes.

Yukito tugged Touya over to Syaoran, Sakura, and Tomoyo. Sakura's two friends were now their normal age and appearance. He held up the three gift bags he'd brought along. Yukito refused to tell Touya what was in the bags.

"I bought you three some gifts as a thank you," Yukito said. The three of them took the colorful bags and dug into the tissue paper. Tomoyo brought out a white teddy bear, and Sakura took out a brown teddy bear. The girls squealed and cuddled them and each other. Syaoran flung his black teddy bear in the air and ran away.

Touya chuckled as Yukito stared after Syaoran's retreating form in confusion and dismay. Touya said, "Okay, maybe this party isn't so terrible."

The next day, Touya was glad to see everything was almost back to routine. He picked up Yukito from his house on his motorcycle. Normally, Sakura would have been along, and he would have taken his bicycle. However, Tomoyo had picked her up in her family's limo, because they had some sort of school project.

Touya suspected it wasn't necessarily a school project, because she took the stuffed lion toy with her. And well, Tomoyo had some new, strange outfit for Sakura. Well, it was a nice day, and he was happy to have a chance to take his motorcycle to school.

Yukito rushed out of his house hurriedly finishing off a piece of toast. He hopped on and wrapped his arms around Touya's waist. Touya felt good having Yukito's arms around him. It just felt so right and made him so content. It inspired him to tackle the day feeling rejuvenated, a feeling he hadn't felt too much since giving Yukito his sixth sense.

When they got to school, a friend of Touya's from the soccer team came up to his motorcycle. Taro had his girlfriend, Miho, with him under his arm. After some casual chit-chat, Miho wrangled them into a double date for the movies in a couple days. Touya normally didn't care for a lot of socializing, but he figured it'd be good to get Yuki out of the house.

As they walked to class, they ran into Nakuru. She tossed her hair over her shoulder and cast a sly smile their way across the crowded hallway. She didn't say a word before she darted into her classroom. She just blew Touya a kiss over her shoulder and gave him a wink before disappearing.

Touya scowled. Hadn't he warned her? Yukito put a hand on Touya's arm and gave him a smile. "She'll keep her distance. I'm not worried about her at all."

"I'm still pissed off at what she did to you."

"I know, but it's best we just keep away from her and mind our own business."

"I don't think we've heard the last from her," Touya groused.

Yukito tugged Touya towards their class, but dropped a notebook on the tile floor. It flopped open and Touya couldn't help but notice it was a journal, only with different, but very similar, handwriting to Yukito's. The entry read, '...and then my master took Cerberus and I to England in 1932. It was a wonderful time. I greatly enjoyed London. Several of Master Clow's relatives...'

Yukito quickly snatched it up and looked around with a blush. Touya was worried when his boyfriend got suddenly secretive with him. "What's that, Yuki?"

"It's Yue. He's... found a way to communicate with me. He's been telling me about his life." Yukito suddenly looked blameworthy. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I just wanted to hear him out and process what I was learning. Please don't be angry with me."

Touya gave him that smile he reserved for his Yuki. He put his arm over Yukito's shoulder. He gently guided them down the hallway and whispered in his ear, "I'll never be angry at you for getting to know yourself."

Touya got his motorcycle ready to take Yukito home. Yukito got on the back of the motorcycle and wrapped his arms around Touya's waist. He felt Yukito's chest pressed to his back and it was a distraction.

Now, after a hard day of school work, feeling those arms around him made him feel warm, even amorous. Touya's mind started going towards some impure thoughts about what he'd like to do with Yukito, rather than after school studying.

When they got to Yukito's house, Touya parked his motorcycle and helped Yukito off. Yukito gave him a baffled expression. "Aren't you coming inside, Touya? We have a lot of homework."

Yukito and Touya had studied together every day after school for three years. It'd be odd if Touya left now. Still, Touya had to admit studying was so far out of his mind, it'd be pointless to stay. That, and he remembered the last time he'd tried to get intimate with Yukito. He had balked and frozen in the middle of Touya trying to pleasure him.

Touya remember the way Yukito had balled up and shaken. There had been pain in those eyes. Touya would deny himself anything to avoid causing that kind of fear or pain or confusion in Yukito. Touya started feeling anxiety over the physical aspect of their relationship.

"I better go home," Touya said, trying to make the best choice for both of them. He wanted Yukito to come to him when he was ready.

Yukito laid a hand on Touya's. "I know Sakura is busy and your father is working late. Come in and keep me company?" Then Yukito gave him a coy, little smile when Touya hesitated. "A good boyfriend would keep me company."

Touya turned off his motorcycle and smirked. He picked up Yukito's hint, but he'd still approach very slowly. They went inside. There was the snack ritual, and the spreading out the homework on the coffee table ritual. Yes, Touya pretended to be engrossed in chemistry, but there was another type of chemistry he wanted to be engaged in.

He felt Yukito's bare foot slowly graze his under the coffee table. Yukito moved a little closer on the floor, twisting his pencil in his hands.

"Touya?"

"Hun?" Touya draped a book over his lap to keep from embarrassing himself.

"I'm glad that Yue's journal didn't fall open on last night's page, but rather his tamer entries."

"Tame?" Touya asked, he could feel the heat coming off of Yukito's cheeks.

Yukito was starting to tremble a little as he said, "He was encouraging me to do something nice for you. He said we could both have some fun if I followed his instructions."

"Instructions?"

"He told me you might like it if we relaxed together."

"Relaxed?"

Yukito, to Touya's shock, removed the book from his lap. Touya leaned back against the sofa really wanting what was coming next. He still kept a careful eye Yukito's body language. He didn't detect any hesitation. Yukito undid Touya's uniform slacks and slipped his hand inside. Touya felt a jolt as Yukito started fondling him carefully.

"Yuki, are you okay with this?"

Yukito leaned on Touya's shoulder as he started to stroke him firmer. "I want this. I know you're my future. I really want this bond between us. Please... take me upstairs. I want to go all the way with you."

Yukito stopped what he was doing and removed his hand. Touya smiled and pressed an ardent kiss on Yukito. "I didn't prepare for that."

"I did, or rather, Yue told me to. I have some things he told me that would make it easier." Yukito blushed and started looking extremely bashful. "Yue was quite, quite detailed. He said you'd probably like to, you know, to have me, to be inside of me."

Touya was surprised when Yukito took out a plain, brown bag from his backpack. It had condoms and lubricant inside. He chuckled, trying to picture his sweet, innocent boyfriend walking into the Green Drugstore and buying this stuff. He hoped those two jokers that worked there were nice to Yuki. Touya knew he could knock Kazahaya's teeth in without batting an eye, but Rikuou was a pretty massive guy.

This "goodie bag" let him know Yue was experienced. Touya felt a jealous flare, but he knew he couldn't hold Yukito responsible for Yue's past dalliances. By the same token, he needed to accept Yue's past, so that he and Yukito could have a smooth future. He'd be a hypocrite if he didn't, anyway, because of Yukito's acceptance and consoling over his previous relationship with Kaho.

He smile at Yukito's nervous, questioning expression. Yukito, for all intents and purposes, was basically a virgin. This person he loved dearly wanted to share this particular first experience with him. He'd do that this afternoon. As far as Yue lurking about, he'd deal with him later. Rather, thank him for giving his blessing by indirectly prompting Yukito towards sleeping with him.

"Come on," Touya said, tugging Yukito up and towards the stairs with the "goodie bag." It wasn't long before they were standing by Yukito's bed, kissing leisurely. It was Yukito who actually started impatiently tugging at Touya's clothes. Touya stopped him.

"You first." Touya removed Yukito's school uniform and under clothes.

He laid Yukito down on the bed and caressed and kissed him. He drew Yukito into a blissful climax that left him trembling. Touya felt very satisfied at Yuki's sweet smile. Then that sweet smile got a hint of shyness. Touya asked, "Are you sure you want me?"

Yukito nodded. Touya gave him a reassuring, affectionate stroke to his cheek. Yukito wrapped his arms around Touya's neck. "I'm sure."

The rest of their love making was very languid and tender. Touya took his time and was careful with his Yuki. Once they were both spent, they collapsed in each other's arms. Touya knew he was grinning like an idiot, but he couldn't help himself. He felt Yukito shiver.

"Are you okay?" Touya would feel horrible if he'd hurt Yuki.

"I'm fine. Just cold," Yukito said. Touya quickly covered them both and snuggled closely, willing his warmth into Yukito.

"I just want to make sure you're happy and that you feel cherished."

Yukito met his eyes and said, "You do that for me each and every day since the first day I met you. I just want to stay by your side."

"Trust me, I'll fight for that each day." Touya felt exhaustion lull him into a deep sleep.

Touya felt groggy as he turned over on his side to get more comfortable on the narrow bed in Yukito's dark bedroom. He had felt a ticklish sensation all up and down his arm and back. Before he could tell Yukito to stop tickling him, his cell phone rang. He groped along the floor and fished his cell phone out of his slacks' pocket.

"Hello?"

"Touya, it's me. It's past ten o'clock. Do you think you'll be much longer."

"Sorry, dad. Yukito and I have a ton of work to catch up on. We were just now taking a little break." Again, there was some light tickles to his back. He stifled a grunt, before he chided Yukito.

"Do you think you'll be home any time soon?"

"Probably not."

His father was a little hesitant sounding, but said, "Well, if it gets too late you can stay over. Just make sure you're a little discreet if you're coming home if Sakura is around." Yes, his father knew he was getting frisky along with studying. And Touya did understand about his father's request about being circumspect around young Sakura.

"I will. I promise."

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow," Fujitaka said and hung up. Touya dropped his phone on his slacks.

"That was Dad. I can stay over... and why do you keep tickling..." Touya turned to his other side but bit off his words when he saw those hard, silvery eyes. He now saw it had been Yue's large wings tickling him, but there just wasn't room for them in this space. "...me?"

"I'm sorry, Touya. I didn't mean to. Yukito and you feel asleep and I was going to get up and write him some more. I didn't mean to intrude."

Touya smirked and propped up on his elbow. "It's okay. It's your body, too."

"By the way, you should visit that drugstore tomorrow. There was one boy there harassing Yukito. After my hard work talking him into this, that boy almost ruined it by making Yukito very self-conscious. The eerie part was that his boss knew what I was and warned him to not mess with me, but I'll let you handle that. Passing the threshold to that drugstore was taxing on me."

"I knew it. The silly short one with a big mouth?" Yue nodded at Touya's question. "I'll knock around Kazahaya tomorrow," Touya said. His aggravation with the Green Drugstore clerk was pushed out of mind when he noticed Yue silky bare arm.

Touya wriggled around trying to keep from leaning on the wings and hurting Yue. "I'll leave and let you have Yukito," Yue offered. The wings started to shimmer, casting light in the dark room.

Touya took Yue's hand and shook his head. The wings dimmed as Yue gave Touya a baffled expression. "Don't go. I need to get to know you, too."

"Are you sure?" Yue asked, trying to pull blankets in between his and and Touya's naked bodies. Touya nodded and stilled Yue's frantic movements to cover up.

"Just relax." When Yue finally stilled himself, he laid his head back on the pillow beside Touya's. "You've been lonely, haven't you?"

"Very much," Yue admitted. Touya felt his heart go out to Yue because of the sorrow in those eyes. It made him want to comfort Yue in tangible ways.

"You know, I don't want to replace anyone in your heart."

"I know, and I don't want to interfere with you and Yukito."

"You're a part of Yukito. I plan on moving in with him soon, so it's not realistic to think my life with him won't affect you. I want to have a friendship with you, too."

Yue slowly smiled. Touya brushed back Yue's long hair and gasped. Yue got a concerned expression then and asked, "What's the matter?"

"I'd never seen you smile before, and you looked unaccustomed to it, but when you did you looked so beautiful." Touya ran his fingers through Yue's long, glossy hair. "You should smile more."

"I haven't had much of a reason to smile," Yue confessed softly.

"Would it make you smile if I held you?"

Yue nodded, suddenly looking shy. That expression was just like Yukito. There was no doubt in Touya's mind who this was. He reached over and Yue said, "I can make them disappear, since they bother you."

"No, they don't bother me. Would you mind if I touched them?" Touya asked, getting curious about how soft they were.

Yue looked as if he were reluctant at first, and then gradually one of his wings moved close to Touya's hand. He ran his fingertips down the edge and was amazed to see Yue shiver and heat come to his face. The texture was amazingly sensual. Touya wanted to feel more.

"Is it okay if I keep touching them?"

Yue struggled to catch his breath and admitted, "When they get caressed, it makes me desire other types of touches. It creates a voracious appetite. He designed me that way."

Touya took Yue's face in his hands and said, "So they're one, great big, erogenous zone. Good to know."

Touya pressed a gentle kiss on Yue and moved his hand back to the beautiful feathers, eager to stroke them and discover more about this side of his lover.

End.

A/N: Okay, I am now inspired to do a Legal Drug and Cardcaptor Sakura crossover one shot based of poor Yuki going to buy those "products" from Kazahaya the prude. It'll be pure comedy. I'm not sure when I'll put it out, but it'll be soon. Keep an eye out over the next week or two. I'll also be writing some more Touya/Yukito fics for Tsubasa and CCS coming up. My husband gave me some great ideas. I hope everyone liked this one and felt it didn't stray too far from manga canon. Thanks for reading. I really appreciate all your support.
