Hey hey! I'm back with a new chapter!

First of all I would like to thank all those who have review and favourite and follow my story so far.

Since most of you feel that it should be kept as T it will stay as T for now, as I agree with 'bookworm0313' that it might be force. Maybe when the relationship between Natsu and Lucy deepen will I do a lemon. (*wink wink* at ChibikiLove)

Also big thanks to 'Pooglelover' and 'bookworm0313' for the suggestions! I'll try to incorporate some of your ideas into my story.

Chapter 12

"Luc-" Natsu stop mid-sentence as he saw the scene in front of him.

When he woke up in the guild without seeing the twin slayer and Lucy around, he didn't expect the two bastards to be here at his partner's home, sharing the same bed with his Lucy. From what he knows, they had been in town since Lucy was back. Surely they had book a room in one of the inn. So what in the name of Mavis are they doing here, contently sleeping on each side of his Lucy; both snuggling into her like she was some kind of teddy bear.

Head down with his hair shadowing his eyes, Natsu step into Lucy's room from the window and made his way towards her bed. With each hand grab onto their ankles, Natsu pull them out of the bed; efficiently waking them and Lucy up from their scream.

"Wha-? What happened?" as she woke up and sat up, eyes frantically looking around her room only to see Natsu standing at the foot of her bed, hands clenched with his hair covering his eyes while taking short and shallow breath. His mood is a contrast to the bright sunlight that shone through the window.

"Natsu?"

"What the hell man?" yelled Sting as he sit up from his position on the floor, one hand rubbing his head while the other hanging on the edge of Lucy's bed.

"I came here looking for you and what is it that greets me? These two idiots are happily sleeping beside you." When he looks up, Lucy could see the hurt in his eyes.

"Na-"

"You met them during one of your mission and that's it? You allow them to sleep with you? I know you before you join Fairy Tail and every time I want to sleep over you kick me out. Do you really object me that much?"

Before anyone could say anything, Natsu jump out of the window. He couldn't stay to hear her reply; scared that her answer would really break her heart.

Lucy was dumbfounded. Was that how he felt all this time? She didn't mean to hurt him. She had set up the extra mattresses, which she initially bought for when Natsu and Happy stay over at her place in the living room for the twin dragon slayers. Though, it seems that sometime during the night, they had moved themselves to her bed.

"I'm going to take a shower. You guys can look for something in the kitchen or get something from the guild if you're hungry."

"Well that was a-"

"Shut it Sting."

"You really do live up to your image in the morning."

This only earns him a glare from the shadow dragon slayer.

After a nice bath, she came out to find the twin dragon slayers lounging in her living room.

"Hey Lucy, how are you feeling?" asked Rogue when Lucy walk in. She could only shrugs at the question, not sure how she should answer it.

"What are your plans for today?"

"Nothing so far. Where are you going?"

"I'm going to go look for Natsu before heading to the guild. What about you guys?"

"Probably go to the guild for some breakfast."

"Okay then, see you guys later."

Without waiting for a reply, Lucy makes her way to Natsu house. Seeing as no one was there, she went to their usual fishing spot before finally making her way to the guild.

Stepping into the guild, the usual brawl was happening. However, this time Sting was rob into it. Lucy look around the guild searching for a pink haired mage, all the while making her way to the bar, skilfully avoiding things that was thrown around.

"Hey Mira, have you seen Natsu?"

"Oh hey Lucy, he went on a mission with Lisanna. They should be back in about a week time. Erza had left for a mission too, so the coast is clear if you want to go on a solo mission."

"Hmm… I'll think about it Mira. By the way, can I have a strawberry milkshake?"

"Sure Lucy. Be back in a bit."

'So much for 'it's still the best when I'm spending time with my most treasured person'. Argh! Stop it Lucy! They belong together and you have decided to forget about him so stop getting jealous!'

Rogue who was sitting at a nearby table had seen the exchange between the celestial mage and barmaid.

"Lucy," came the familiar monotone voice from Lucy's left side, "if you have nothing planned, would you like to come with us and visit Sabertooth?"

"That sounds like a great idea Rogue. You should go Lucy. See it as a short break from all the mission that you had recently took."

"Hmm... that sound like a nice plan, and I have no need to go for mission since I have enough jewels for rent." Lucy considers, "But what about Natsu? He might not be happy when they find out that I leave again."

"The mission takes about a week time. Just make sure that you come back before they arrive then you should be fine."

"Yea blondie. You should come check out our guild. Who knows maybe you would like it better than Fairy Tail and come join us?"

"Hey! Paws off Blondie. Bunny girl belongs to Fairy Tail!"

"Yea. You have your own celestial mage, so stay away from ours." Added the ice mage.

"Tsk. Annoying bastards."

"Huh? What did you say Blondie?"

And that's how another brawl started.

"Lucy!"

"Happy! Didn't you go with Natsu and Lisanna on the mission?"

"No. I want to stay with you."

"Aww… that's sweet of you."

"Are you going to Sabertooth Lucy?"

"I don't know. It's a good idea since I have nothing better to do."

"Then if you're going, can I come too? Don't leave me behind again." Says Happy as he buried himself into her chest.

"Why not? Rogue and Sting each have their own exceed. You could be my temporary exceed then." Lucy said as she soothingly rubs Happy's back.

"Lucy! Are you seriously going which there two to another guild?"

"Aww… relax guys. It's only for a short visit. It's not always that I'm invited to another guild."

"Bu-"

"No buts." Lucy interrupted Gray, "It'll only take a few days. I'll be back before you know it."

At her answer, Gray feels dejected. After Lucy came back from her recent mission, he didn't really spend much time with her, since Natsu was all over her; afraid that her might run off without him again.

Accompanying her on mission, he found that they do share interest in the same genre in books. Sure he knows that Lucy's obsession with book is at Levy's-obsession-with-books-level, but he always thought that she was only interested in romance since that's what they usually talk about. But he was surprise to find that she also enjoys some mystery and crime solving books genre.

They had been animatedly discussion about his latest read when suddenly Juvia drag him away for a mission that involves sculpting ice. By the time they got back, Lucy had gone to another mission on her own.

Turning to Mira who's just making her way towards the celestial mage with her strawberry milkshakes, she ask "Hey Mira, could you get Happy a fish?"

"Sure Lucy, and here's your milkshake."

"Yeah! You're the best Lucy. Thank you Mira." Happy said before munching on his fish.

"Are you coming to Sabertooth Lucy?" Frosch asked as he landed on the bar beside Happy, eying the piece of fish in his paw, while Lector was not far behind him. Seeing the arrival of the two additional exceeds, Mira took out two extra fish for them.

"Yup, and Happy's coming too. Be sure to bring us around and show us some interesting place okay?"

"Yeah! Frosch can spend more time with Lucy then."

Lucy could only chuckle at the frog-suited-exceed, ignoring the brawl that was still going on behind her.

Somewhere along the railway, one train in particular was heading towards Mavis knows where, is carrying two of Fairy Tail's mages.

"Maybe we should have Wendy cast Troia on you before we set out." Said Lisanna as she stroke Natsu's hair, as the latter was currently lying on her lap, unable to keep himself up.

Lisanna had pulled him down to lie on her lap when the train start moving and his face had turned green. It was so bad that he does not even have the strength to protest against the white-haired mage.

After the confrontation in Lucy's room, he had made his way home; hoping to release some pent up energy in the nearby forest. Before he could do this, he was greeted by his unusually enthusiastic childhood friend who had jump on him.

"Look Natsu! I found a job which offers 250,000 jewels and all you have to do is defeat the Vulcan at the nearby mountain."

Itching to fight, Natsu hastily agree to go on the mission. In a flash, Natsu went to grab his pack, while Lisanna who had hers' with her before looking for Natsu wait for him, before heading to the guild to log the job with Mira.

Now that he the dragon slayer is in the train and render immobile, he had the time to stop and think what had happen.

'Shit. If Lucy found out about this, she might have the wrong impression again. Damn! Damn! Damn! Why didn't I think about it before accepting Lisanna's offer? Whatever. She went on mission without me too. It's just fair that I go without her too... Right?'

Natsu try to reason with himself but this only cause him to think about the probability that Lucy might leave for another mission without him again when he promise himself not to leave her side.

As the train slow to a stop, patrons can be heard shuffling to get their own belonging before making their way to the exit. The duo set out to finish the mission; the dragon slayer determines to finish it as soon as possible so he could get back to his celestial partner.
