First off, I apologize for not uploading anything in just about forever. Yes, this did used to be Search for the Blindeye STATUS: FOUND!, but since that name's no longer relevant and the description was a bit too intense, I changed it.
So anyway, I decided to get back to this thing because I just really wanted to make a comment/theory thing about a remark in the latest episode, Not What He Seems. It was towards the beginning when Stan told Dipper and Mabel that it was unnatural for siblings to get along so well, and then they replied that they had the rest of the summer to drive each other crazy. I may just be overthinking this, but this show has crazy intense foreshadowing, and every little remark, every little detail seems to build up to something, I feel. What I got from Stan and the twin's conversation was that one or two things are/were/will be true. Theory one is that Stan's speaking from experience, and he and his brother (...to all the people who said Stanley wasn't real... WE TOLD YOU SO!) left on bad terms after some sort of major argument, which could have something to do with why Stan is still in Gravity Falls where his brother was on the other side of the portal without him. Number two is based on the twins' response. The fact that they even responded without changing the subject at all shows some sign of significance to me. I think that because of this, during some crucial moment in the plot later on, they will disagree on something (such as whether to trust Stan or not to shut down the portal, except more extreme). This could result in many things, including character death, depending on the extremity.
Now I realize that was pretty underwhelming and anticlimactic, so to make up for it I'll do the theories that people have commented from about a year ago when I last updated, if they're still relevant and unanswered, of course. which is basically, like, one comment. Or two.

It pretty much explains itself, so I think that's all. All the other comments are about what's going to happen in season 2, the author, and the apocalypse, all of which have been somewhat answered.
Please comment/PM me so this can keep going!
