WARNING THIS IS BORING IN MY OPINION! BUT FEEL FREE TO READ (: YAY REVIEW FOR OUR 20TH CHAPTER!

Sorry to keep you guys waiting I'm sorry about that, but let's look at the bright side I'm here now! Some of you are saying that you are confused by the last chapter so here we go. So ever since they were little Sasuke and Sakura knew of each other but just don't remember until they meet again, and when they did meet they spend time together and talk about the past and basically catched up on things they missed together. They were happy at least one was, Sakura is sick and this was mentioned on the past chapters but no one knows of it except her , her brothers, Itachi ( which is by the way like an older brother to Sakura since his besfriend is Sakura's brother, Sasori.) , and now Neji and Shikamaru knew of it too since last chapter. The title Expect the Unexpected is just to give more explanation on how Sakura is feeling, she wasn't surprise to see Sasuke engaged she's actually happy for him since she knows she won't last long and at least before she's gone there's some one that loves Sasuke, and maybe just maybe he will learn to love her back. Wow! That was long okay! Here we go again, thank you for the reviews guys and please favourite and follow is you still haven't.

Anyways let's move on and here's another chapter of this sasusaku story (: I hope you enjoy.

Last chapter -

"You're fading." Sakura nodded again knowing it was a more of a statement than a question, "that's why I'm not trying to fix these things." She answered his unspoken question. "where's Ino" She said looking up at the sky snowflakes started falling slowly. "Ah, the troublesome woman said that she wanted to use the bathroom. Probably lost her way." He said while looking up too. "Wow, longest sentence ever Shikamaru." Sakura giggled while looking at him. "When are you leaving?" Sakura knew he She once again looked up the sky, "I can't promise that I'll be here longer, but can you promise me at least to keep him along with Naruto away? I don't want them to see me in my last hour." She said. "It's not really a pretty sight to see" she finished. Smiling sadly at the sky knowing soon she won't be able to go out and enjoy the fresh air. wasn't implying on the fact of her leaving the roof top. "Soon, a month and a half tops". Silence.

Gravity:

A strong pull toward the center of the earth; could also be a pull towards another physical body due to mass. But this is the scientific explanation. Like love pulls two fated beings together to be happy and to be together, is probably love's definition of gravity. But what if one defies gravity?

The following day Sakura spend most of her time on the rooftop taking in the sight of the first snowfall, she sighed. It didn't matter if she was cold or not, she didn't even notice anyway since she's having one of the symptoms, the doctors told her was that after she loss some blood from coughing after taking the medicine she'll start to feel a numb and an aching feel on her chest. For the first time ever she was actually glad, at least she'll have more time to take in the breathtaking sight while the pain cancels out the freezing breeze of the cold December. She looked at the gray sky, closed her eyes when a snowflake fell on her nose, she smiled. Remembering that each snowflake is unique she cupped her frozen hands and watched closely as a snowflake placed it self onto of her palms, when she was about to examine it closely to see the details it quickly melted to the little heat her body gave. She frowned eyebrows furrowed, it didn't even last long once it placed it self onto her palm, she frowned at how delicate and fragile it was yet beautiful and fascinating. Shaking her head to get the thought out of her mind her gaze travel to the small notebook that was neatly placed onto of the bench she was sitting on with a silver pen. She sighs remembering that she needed to write a song for Tenten's drama club, she exhaled her hot breath mixing with the cold breeze turning it to fog texture.

I don't have the motivation to do it.

Then just tell her you can't I'm sure she'll understand...

No, I have to at least I want too. Just to keep my mind of off him.

Do whatever pleases you, but can you just go inside before you freeze to death?

Sakura followed her instincts she grabbed the tiny notebook, she opened the door and went inside. She looks around the hall, thankful that no one ever goes to the 3rd floor during lunch. She was walking towards the intersection that lead to the flight of stairs to the 2nd floor but when she looked around and turned to face the front she bumped into someone. She braced herself from the fall to the hard tiled floor but nothing came, she was secured and tucked in tight with a pair of strong arms, she looked up to thank her savior but once she did her voice seemed to have been lost.

"Hn. Clumsy" Sasuke muttered but she caught it anyways, she struggled at first but manage to get out of his strong grasp. She bowed her head in embarrassment and politeness.

"G-gomen, Sasuke-san" She said still looking at the floor, since she was looking she didn't notice that Sasuke had a frown on his godly features and she didn't notice him coming until she felt a stong pair of arms held her shoulder still, preventing her from any movement.

"Sakura" Sasuke growled. Sakura knew he didn't like it when it comes to these terms. She wanted to just run away, so she grasped his wrist and tried to pry his hand of off her but it he didn't budge. Sasuke's eyes narrowed feeling the way Sakura's hands felt against his skin, he looked at behind her and saw an open door he turned his icy gaze down to the woman in front of him.

"How long" She heard him say, which brought her back from reality.

"W – Wha-what are you taking a-about?" She stuttered confusion crossed her beautiful features, she saw his scowl.

"How long have you been out there in the rooftop, in this freezing weather without any jacket on" he asked this time finishing his sentence for her to fully understand. Sakura was so confused.

Is – is he worried about be? Why is he here? Did Ino send him to find me since I didn't go to lunch?

N-no way, he has a girlfri – no a fiancé for the matter. I bet he'd rather stay with her. Sakura thought sourly

And who is he to mind someone else's business. Sasuke saw Sakura's eyebrows crease to an angry scowl. The next thing she did completely surprised him, she pulled his wrist out of grasp and said something that shocked him.

"Why do you care? I'm just a person you barely knew and why are you here, shouldn't you be with Watanabe-san?" She said sourly. She grabbed the small notebook from the ground and angrily but accidentally brushed her shoulders against his.

It hurts to say that in front of him, but it's for the best. She was about to turn to leave and continue on her way when a hand grabbed her wrist and turned her around to face him. Inside she tried not to cry and hugged him when she saw the sad look hidden behind his obsidian eyes.

"Let go." She said with as much anger as she can bottle up.

"Sakura…" his voice she noticed sounded apologetic.

"Just let go…Sasuke-kun. It's better for me –no for the both of us" She said tugging for him to let go. She saw it in his eyes he was angry now. Good… Sakura thought sadly.

"Do you think I wanted any of this?! Do you think im not suffering as much as you did?" He yelled she thank the heavens no one was around to see the scene. "We'll let me tell you Sakura I am, I'm mad at my parents and the company but mostly…myself. I just got you back but I decided to pick the company, but understand Sakura please understand..." He said sadly yet he had an angry tone, she whimpered at the strong grip he had on her wrist. She looked at him straight in the eyes, while tears started streaming down her face.

"Just let go, Sasuke you're hurting me. You've already hurt me don't add more to the pain." She said as she quickly pulled her hand out of his now weak grip. She saw an angry emotion behind his eyes, "excuse me Sasuke-san" She said walking away gripping the notebook while she wiped the tear stain on her face.

"Fine." She heard him say, noticing the ice cold way he said it. She walked to the second floor where her locker was located; she decided to get ready for Chemistry.

Yeah..it's for the better. Sakura knew that once she start saying this to herself each day she'll doubt her self more than she already does.

Time skip: After Calculus.

Sakura walked around the busy hall towards her locker, decided to grab the forgotten notebook for advance Chemistry than rather sharing one with a fanboy. She also reminded herself that she told Tenten to go at the auditorium after school to talk to she reached her locker she saw two figures talking sweetly beside her locker, noticing that it was Sasuke and Karin. She inwardly sighed; she wasn't even surprise since she knew Sasuke's locker was beside hers. She approached the two and muttered a low "excuse me" while opening her locker and tucking the book securely between her chest and arm along with her music notebook. For one second after closing her locker she glanced at Sasuke's direction but he didn't even bother to notice her presence, she walked to class a sad smile adoring her gorgeous features.

She once again looked at the blank notebook and groaned inwardly, Tenten was sure to murder her. Her head was raised when she heard the class door open disrupting the class silent work time; she looked at the teacher and the student that came in almost half of the class. She too eavesdropped like the other student.

"Care to explain while you're late, Mr. Uchiha?" Asuma their chemistry teacher asked sternly.

"hn." Sasuke muttered.

Asuma sighed knowing that's all he was going to get out of the boy, Sakura then saw their teacher ushered Sasuke to take a seat at an empty desk. She kept her gaze lock on him but got interrupted when their sensei started talking.

"So tomorrow we'll be having a group project (mutters and whispers around the class), but I'll be the one picking the groups" Asuma finished while picking up clipboard, the students groaned at the last statement but Asuma started anyways.

"Since over here is late – Asuma looked at the list. " – you will be with Ms. Haruno so you can catch up on the work you missed, starting tomorrow" Their sensei said and he moved on the list telling the others who their partners will be. Sakura ignore the feeling of someone watching her instead grabbed her notebook and other belongings when the bell rang; she headed for the rooftop again since she had a spare last period.

She pulled the jacket closer to her body while exhaling. Even if we are cold to each other and now much more distant than before, it's better that way… but no matter what you do or how cold you are there's always something that's pulling me towards you. She thought sadly. Sakura decided to let her emotions out by writing it instead, by the middle of the last period or her spare period she had finish the song and was going down to auditorium to meet Tenten after school.

Time skip:

Sakura adjusted the volume and decided to write down he notes on the music sheets but she was interrupted by the auditorium doors opening, she saw Tenten's figure walking toward her she smiled at the sight. She ushered for her to sit down beside her.

"So what is it?" Tenten asked.

"I finished the song and I wanted to show you if you would like it, and help me edit it" Sakura said smiling at her. She was surprised that her companion out of nowhere hugged her.

"I know this hurts you so much Sak, but me and the girls are here for you. " Tenten pulled away to look at the girl before her with a sad smile. "And of course I'll help you! Neji will drop me of home around 5 anyways since he has basketball practice with the boys" She said cheekily. Sakura smile at her friends comforting aura.

"Ok, let's start." Sakura said.

THE GUYS

"TEME WAIT UP, YOU JERKS!" Naruto yelled while catching up to his friends.

"Hn."

"Troublesome"

"Shut it" Neji said sternly.

"NEJI YOU'RE SO MEAN! I SHOULD TELL TENTEN TO GIVE YOU A LESSON ON MANNERS" Naruto yelled again, but paused. "Wait speaking of Tente where is she? I didn't see her with hina-chan or ino" Naruto said thoughtfuly, then. "OMG! TENTEN IS KIDNAPPED! Naruto started panicking, that is until a certain Hyuuga hit his head. Hard.

"Idiot I heard the girls talk that she was with Sakura in the auditorium" Shikamaru said as a matter of fact.

"Hn" Sasuke muttered thankful that no one noticed him flinched when her name was mentioned, or at least eh thought. The guys kept going and headed for the auditorium, they slipped through the doors stealthily not making any sound while they watched the two girls interacts.

"Okay! We are done with everything, you just need to sing it since we finished the piano piece" Tenten said through the microphone while sitting on the front row watching Sakura from there.

"I don't think I can" Sakura said through her own mic.

"C'mon just once then we can record it then that'll be the last time you'll sing it" Tenten encountred.

"But –"Sakura started.

"But? No, buts" Tenten ended, she saw Sakura sigh.

Sakura went to the wall near the exit door of the auditorium, she pressed the yellow button to making dim the whole room while there's a spot light on the center stage. She then walked back and adjusted the volume she looked up to her friend, she saw her mouthing a "It's okay". Sighing Sakura pressed play.

(SO I DON'T KNOW IF YOU LIKE THE SONG BUT IF YOU DON'T IM SO SORRY IT'S A LONG SONG SO I NARROWED IT A BIT OH AND ITS BY SARA BAREILLES ITS CALLED :GRAVITY AND IF YOU DON'T GET THE SONG I'LL EXPLAIN AT THE END OF THE CHAP! ENJOY!)

A soft sound of a piano echoed around the room

Sakura didn't notice that she was crying soundlessly while singing, she quickly wiped the tears away. She looked at Tenten and saw that she was coming towards her and she hugged her and started crying, while Tenten muttered words of comfort to ease her pain.

For the first time in her life Sakura never felt more painful, empty, lonely, and especially cold.

The boys were speechless since they never heard their female friend sing before; they only knew she could play. The three boys getting the song looked at Sasuke to ask if he did but when they did they saw his fist clenching, they made up a conclusion that he did. They didn't even ask when the said boy got up and leave quietly half way through the song.

TADA! Yay I finished I think this was the longest I made anyways I found this artists that made an incredible duet for this song! I just found out about them while I searched for the song lyrics and you should reallu check them out, they're names are Alex&Sierra and they made a cover of this song and they sound great! Anyways the meaning of this song.

So... You guys might not know what the song means and you're probably like "How the hell does it ties to the story?" well now that the pair are more distant Sakura is more cold but he consumes her thoughts like an addiction, she'll never move on and her thoughts are constantly thinking of him. Craving yearning. He has the ability to comfort her in her thoughts without him being around. It only ended because he treated her bad or something went wrong, not because she does not love him. When she's away from him she is who she is meant to be than she just keeps falling into his gravity again meaning keep falling for him even if it's hurting her.
