I held onto Alan tightly as he helped me out of the airduct. Us, Ellie and the kids climbed down the scaffolding. As we reached the lowest one, we heard the horrible roaring. The raptor had gotten out of the control room and was now at the doorway right next to us!

"What now?" I asked.

"Come on!" Alan said.

He climbed onto the dinosaur skeleton, the rest of us followed. I whimpered and held Alan's hand tight as I tried not to look down. That skeleton was not sturdy at all. One wrong move and you'd fall off.

The raptor jumped from the railing of the second floor, onto the skeleton, causing it to break apart. I screamed as I started falling. Alan grabbed onto my hands, holding onto me.

"Alan!" I screamed when i saw the raptor on the same section as us.

"Maggie, you got to let go", he said.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I'll be right behind you. Let go."

I looked at him as I slowly let go of his hand. As I fell, I screamed. I hated heights and I never wanted to have to climb up or down anything again. I looked up and saw the wires holding the bones up were breaking. Lex, Tim and Ellie fell to the floor, making the bones fall too. Alan fell to the floor bringing the bones down as well.

"Alan!" I said crawling to him. "Are you hurt?"

"I'm alright", he said getting up.

Lex screamed as the other raptor from the control room came downstairs. The two raptors closed in around us. We were trapped with no means of defense. I held onto Alan tight and closed my eyes.

"I should've told you", I said. "I always had a crush on you!"

Alan looked at me and kept his arms around all of us, backing away from the raptors. Just as the raptor in front of us was about to jump for the kill, the T-Rex from out of nowhere came and bit down on the raptor. We watched, unable to believe what we were seeing. We were saved by the T-Rex. With the T-Rex busy with the raptors, we ran as fast as we could to the exit.

Just our luck. As we opened the door, John and Ian pulled up to the building in a jeep.

"Mr. Hammond", Alan said. "After careful consideration, I've decided not to endorse your park."

"So have I", John said.

We drove as fast as we could to the helicopter pad, eager to get off this island. We were all happy when we saw the helicopter waiting for us. We got in and sighed in relief as it flew away. We were finally getting off that island, never to return. Ellie watched me and Alan. The kids were sitting and sleeping on either side of him. I held his hand and smiled. Alan made it known that he wanted me more than Ellie. Dream came true. I laid my head back against the seat and closed my eyes, singing softly to myself to pass the time.
