Well, here we go! Epilogue for A Lotus Crown! ^-^ Thanks to everyone that submitted in suggestions, I decided to just go with what most of the people who have submitted things asked for, just something that happened after the War. I've also had people ask if I am writing a sequel series to this like Rosemary. The answer to that one is no BUT, I am working on another GilgameshXHeroine fic! It's going to be a while before anything for this one can be released(I need to do research for it) but look forward to it! ^-^

And yes, this Hikaru and Gil will be crossovering in a future chapter of Rosemary After with Archer and his Hikaru. XD

"Hikaru! Don't leave meeeee!" Nagisa clamped her arms against Hikaru's waist in a weird, tight hug.

"Gah! Let go Nagisa!" Hikaru almost fell over from the addition of Nagisa's weight.

"No! You can't make me!"

Yomi walked over from her desk and adjusted her glasses as she took in the odd sight. Hikaru was standing next to Nagisa's desk. Nagisa, who was still in her chair, was tightly hugging Hikaru's waist. "Well this is an interesting sight."

"Why aren't you holding her back either Yomi?" whined Nagisa. "She's leaving us! She's going so far away and leaving us behind here! Don't let her go! Don't let her leave us!"

"Come on Nagisa, you're embarrassing yourself," sighed Yomi. "Everyone in class is staring at you."

"No! I won't let her go!"

"Please let me go Nagisa!" Hikaru tried to pry Nagisa's arms off of her but the girl just would not let go. For someone who wasn't a magus, this girl was way stronger than a normal girl should be!

"Noooo! You can't make me!"

Hikaru sent a pleading look to Yomi. The girl sighed and walked over to Nagisa's side and gave Nagisa's chair a shift kick. This made Nagisa tilted backwards and release Hikaru at the same time. "Gah! Why!?" She scrambled to her feet.

"You make it seem like I'm leaving forever! I'm just going to be gone for summer vacation. That's only a couple of weeks." Hikaru crossed her arms and put the desk between her and her crazy friend.

"But we always hang out over summer break and who else am I going to copy my homework from?" Nagisa glanced over at Yomi and then back at Hikaru. Her eyes were huge and puppy like.

Hikaru and Yomi exchanged glances. "Why don't you get going so you can finish packing?" suggested Yomi. "I'll fend Nagisa off for you."

"Thanks Yomi."

"Hey! Don't make it seem like I'm some kind of dog you need to keep away from her!"

Hikaru laughed. "I'll see you guys at the start of next semester okay?" She waved goodbye to her friends and left the classroom. She reached the bottom of the stairs and headed for the shoe locker. "Oh! Shirou!"

Shirou dropped his shoes on the ground and looked up at her. "Hey Hikaru. Heading out?"

"Yup. You as well?" She pulled her shoes out of her locker, dropped them on the ground and switched out her shoes.

"Yeah, it's really weird that I'm not going to be coming back to this school ever again after today." He laughed quietly. "I think I'm going to be taking a walk around outside before Rin gets down here and yells at me to hurry up."

Hikaru chuckled. "That's Rin for you." She put her hands behind her back. "Anyway, I'm happy I got to see you today before you left. I just wanted to say, thanks. For everything."

Shirou looked down at his left hand where the gray remnants of his command seals were. "Trust me, it was nothing really. Especially at the end."

Hikaru looked down at her own hand, devoid of command seals. The end wasn't much from her point of view. By the time she and Gilgamesh had gotten there it was already over. Shirou was standing alone in the location of the Grail. The Grail and Saber were already gone.

"I'm going to miss having you around," she said. "After all this stuff that's happened, everything is going to change next semester."

"Yeah," agreed Shirou. "But I'll come visit, I promise."

"I'll keep you to that promise then," replied Hikaru. She pushed her hair over her ear. "Anyway, have fun learning from the Association."

"You have fun on your trip."

She gave him another smile before she walked past him and out the school gate. She spotted a familiar figure next to the gate and she increased her speed. "So you did wait for me after all."

Gilgamesh looked up her and grinned. "Of course my dear Queen, what did you expect? I was not going to allow any mongrels to speak to you when you leave school." He put an arm around her but she ducked her head to avoid him trying to kiss her.

"Come on now Gil, not in front of the school," she murmured.

"Why do you worry about these things?" he grumbled.

"Because I have modern day decency, unlike you." She gave him a once over. "You going for a punk look today?"

Gilgamesh glanced down at his clothes and then shrugged. "I just thought of trying something different, that's all."

"I feel like you play dress up more than girls do," laughed Hikaru. Before he could protest, she grabbed his hand and began pulling him along as the two headed away from the school.

"There is nothing wrong with enjoying clothes. Especially clothes of today. There are so many styles that one can wear."

Hikaru giggled. "There's no reason you need to justify it to me."

She yelped in surprise as Gilgamesh yanked her back so she fell towards his chest. Before she could protest, he kissed her.

"Really now?!" She pulled away a moment later and looked at him unamused.

He shrugged. "Couldn't help it."

"Couldn't you wait until we were on our trip?" Hikaru sighed as she continued walking towards home.

"Nonsense," he scoffed. "I am allowed to kiss my Queen whenever I want." He grinned like a wolf who had cornered his prey. "Plus I think we'll be busy doing other things on this trip as well."

"Now don't get ahead of yourself," Hikaru rolled her eyes. There was no way they were going there already.

"Oh, I'm not worried." Again he pulled her towards him but this time he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and rested his head on hers. "I can be…very persuasive."

"My foot is going to smash yours in about two seconds," Hikaru said in a deadpan voice.

Laughing, the King released her. "Alright, if you insist, I'll behave…for now."

"Something tells me this trip to America is going to be a bad idea." Hikaru rolled her eyes.

"Nonsense!"

She turned around to face him and kept the deadpan look on her face for a couple of seconds before sighing. "Let's just get home and finish packing. Plus Aunt Nomi is coming along so I doubt you are going to be able to do anything."

"Oh I can get her out of the room without any trouble!"

Hikaru opened her mouth, clamped it shut again and shook her head. What in the world was she going to do with him? "Come on. Let's get home before Aunt Nomi throws a fit about us possibly missing our plane." She grabbed Gilgamesh's hand as they two headed for home.
