Dear Levi!

Happy 5th anniversary! Thank you for 5 wonderful years being by my side, being the best husband in the whole world!

I hope that the rest of our time together will pass just like this. I hope that you know that I wouldn't want to change my life as your wife for anything in the world. And you know how much I love to be called like that; Corporal Rivailles' wife.

I love you!

Levi stood in front of a house, looking at a girl, a few steps in front of him, playing with a doll in the grass. She looked cute with her big smile and her black ponytails. She looked as happy and innocent as a three year old could be, not noticing anything around her. Levi, however, needed all his self-control, not to run to the kid, to tell her that she shouldn't sit on the dirty ground; not while wearing a light pink dress.

Suddenly Mike piped up behind the house, running in the direction where the girl was.
"Look out, titans!"

The girl squalled, jumping up with her doll in the hand, running towards Levi.
Levi kneeled down, spreading out his arms. He caught her and stood up with her in his arms.
Mike stopped in front of them.

"You think that your daddy can save you from the big bad titan?" he smiled, tickling the girls' belly. The girl exclaimed in delight, again.
"Yes he can. Daddy is the strongest," she said defiant, putting out her tongue.
"Amabella, it's not nice to show your tongue to others," Levi reproached her.

Mike smirked and bent down, pretending that he wanted to bite her. The little girl screamed and laughed at the same time. She cuddled tighter up to her fathers' neck.
Levi put a hand protectively over her and the doll.

"Dinner's ready!" Hanjis' voice interjected their game. She stood in the doorframe, a bright smile on her face as she saw Levi and Mike playing with her little girl. Amabella. Levi had chosen the name. He told her that it was French for 'beloved' and now, looking at her daughter Hanji thought how suitable the name was.

The two men went towards the house, Levi still carrying Amabella.
"Daddy, what did titans look like?" the girl asked.
She knew about them only from playing with Mike. Of course they've never told her that those giants had eaten humans. Or that her parents have been soldiers who fought against them, until four years ago, when there was the last battle against humanities biggest enemy.

"They were big," Mike said.
"Big and ugly," Levi added.

"Big like Uncle Mike?" Amabella asked, peaking at him under her fathers' arm.

"No, Uncle Mike is just ugly. They were much bigger," Levi explained to her with a smirk.

Mike just laughed at the comment. He knew that he shouldn't say something mean about Levi. Because, even though Amabella had her mothers' bright eyes and smile, she also could look gloomy like her father, when someone said something mean about him. For Mike it was funny to observe how much the little girl loved and protected her dad.

The three stepped in the small kitchen, where Nanaba and Erwin were already sitting at the table, chatting causally. Levi let Amabella on the floor and the girl ran to Erwin. She started telling him how they played titans and she added proudly, how her dad protected her.

Levi stopped in the door, leaning against the doorframe, observing the scene. There was loud laughter and happy faces around the table. For the last years, every Sunday was like that. They all would meet at Levi and Hanji's house for dinner.

"Who would have thought that everything would end like this, eh?" he heard Hanjis' voice behind him. He turned his head around, seeing her standing right behind him. He reached for her hand, and squeezed it for a second.

"It looked like she had a lot of fun with you guys," she said, referring to what she had seen earlier in the garden.
"Yeah, she had fun," Levi said with a gentle smile.
Ever since their lives as soldiers were over, since he and Hanji started living together and especially since Amabella was born, Levi started smiling more often. It seemed to be the easiest thing in the world and he wondered why it was such a difficult thing do to years ago.

The woman put her hands around Levi from behind, leaning her head on his shoulders.
"I love you," she whispered, so that only he could hear it.
Levi turned his head around, so that he faced her, pressing a kiss on her cheek.
"I love you too. Now come, let's join them."
He wanted to step forward, but Hanji was still holding him in her hug, not intending to move.

"It seems like a dream. Everything," she said, mainly looking at Amabella, who was sitting in Erwin's' lap. Levi followed her look, shaking his head slightly.

"But it isn't, Hanji. It isn't."
