Antonio led Lovina through the narrow streets, eager to get her out of the hot wool of her European clothes. "We'll find you a nice dress. They show a bit more skin here…" Antonio chuckled as he kept his arm draped around her shoulder. Lovina rolled her eyes and pushed him away when a tent selling clothes caught her eye.

"What am I, a doll? Stupid bastard" she mumbled as she browsed the selection. A feeling that could only be described as unpleasant pooled at the bottom of her stomach when she heard Francis chuckle from behind her.

"How about this, mon cher?" he cooed right into her ear. Lovina whipped her head around and turned bright red when she saw what he was holding. "Y-You pervert! What, did you steal that from a fucking brothel?!" Lovina squeaked. The utterly translucent fabric and lack thereof of translucent fabric left practically nothing to the imagination.

"Possibly" Francis mused as he waggled his eyebrows. Lovina hid a smirk when Antonio walked over. "What's going on?" he asked slowly. Francis smirked proudly as Antonio looked between Lovina and Francis's selection.

And he laughed. And Francis laughed along. And Lovina scowled. But the scowl vanished when Antonio stopped laughing and socked Francis in the nose. Francis staggered back and mumbled curses followed by a quick apology. Antonio grabbed the material and inspected it before glancing back at Lovina and pulling her closer.

"You can wear it for me. But no one else, mi amor" he chuckled before shoving it into his bag. Lovina wasn't even going to bother asking about where it came from or payment. Instead, she watched Antonio and pulled him away from a group of women he was blatantly flirting with as Francis stomped back, going on about how 'it was a joke'.

"What do you think you're doing?!" She hissed, still gripping him by the ear. Antonio winced when she squeezed tighter.

"Lovi, I was only trying to get a better deal" he whimpered. Lovina rolled her eyes and released him. Antonio just chuckled and rested his hands on her hips when she tried to face away. "Mi amor, you know no one else even compares to you" he cooed as he cupped her cheek. Lovina crinkled her nose and smacked his hand away.

"Yeah, well you're losing your balls if anyone else does" she shot back. Antonio just chuckled while handing Lovina a simple robe that wrapped around her torso and hung off of her shoulders, made from a light material that suited the dry climate.

When Lovina changed and met up with Elizaveta, the mischievous looks on Francis, Gilbert, and Antonio's faces were concerning. Anotnio waltzed over and slung his arm around Lovina's waist. "Ever ridden a camel before, belleza?" he chuckled.

Lovina couldn't help but grin when she shook her head. Antonio told her to wait before sauntering over to a group of what looked like travelers who were led by a man in a keffiyeh. Antonio chatted in a language Lovina didn't understand before glancing back at her. That's when Lovina noticed everyone was glancing at her. And then they started laughing. Lovina sent Antonio a warning glare before he turned back around and shook his head still chuckling.

The man in the head covering interrupted, and Antonio quickly nodded, shaking the larger man's hand. Lovina narrowed her eyes when the man in the keffiyeh shouted something in her direction and pointed to her. That was when Lovina felt to men pull her up by both of her arms and tried to take her away.

"Hello there, I was hoping to strike a bargain" Antonio greeted the quieter man in the head covering he had spotted in what he assumed was flawless Arabic. The man smirked a bit and crossed his arms.

"Is that so?" he grinned. Antonio ignored the uneasy feeling the man gave him and just nodded and smiled.

"Two. Name your price" he answered confidently, nodding his head toward the animals. The robed man sighed and shrugged.

"I do not like money. I much prefer to trade. She would be more than enough" Antonio blinked before following the Egyptian's gaze back to Lovina. Antonio laughed and shook his head.

"Sure, take her off of my hands. She's a bit of a handful" he chuckled. The other's around him laughed, but it seemed kind of forced.

"No, I am only kidding" he sighed after receiving a glare from Lovina. She was worth more than all the money in the world. "But I'm sure-"

"Then we have a deal" the Egyptian interrupted, grabbing Antonio's hand. Antonio just nodded before hesitantly drawing back. "Wait, what? We never agreed on a price or-"

"Take her!" the Egyptian shouted. In perfect Spanish. Antonio lunged at him and grabbed his shoulders. "I said I was kidding!" he snapped. The Egyptian frowned and pushed him away. "I believe you said you weren't kidding" he sneered.

Antonio shook his head and went back through his words. He had specifically said he wasn't…

Oh shit.

OH SHIT.

Antonio reached for the man again, this time in a pleading manner. "C'mon amigo" he chuckled nervously. "I would never trade Lovi…" Antonio glanced back and saw her already struggling under the grip of two men as they brought her closer.

"Let. Me. Go. You stupid Egyptian freaks! I will kill you with my bare hands you sons of bitches! You can't do this to me, I'm an Italian!" she screeched. Even the men surrounding Antonio swallowed nervously when she glared at the Spaniard.

"Antonio, what the hell did you do?!"

Antonio chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head nervously. "M-Mi amor, you know how much I love you…" he started quietly. The Egyptian shoved him aside and gripped her chin. "She will be perfect for Sadiq" he cooed, turning her head to examine her.

"Get your hands off of her!" Antonio roared. But he soon found numerous weapons all pointed in his direction. The Egyptian chuckled and stepped away from Lovina, giving others room to bind her hands.

"I believe we had a deal, Spaniard" he sneered. Antonio's face paled when Lovina stopped thrashing and threw him a murderous look. Antonio was sure she was more dangerous than the men surrounding him.

"You traded me. For fucking camels?!" she hissed as she was guided passed him. Antonio shrugged helplessly before turning back to the Egyptian leader. "Look, there has been a mistake, I was only joking-"

"Why would you even fucking joke about that?!" Lovina snapped as a blindfold was tied around her head. Antonio chuckled nervously and nodded. "R-Right you are belleza. Just as always. How could I be so foolish…" Antonio squeaked.

"You are right, my friend" the Egyptian sighed. Antonio smiled and nodded. "I have made a terrible mistake" he continued, grabbing a camel and holding the reins out to Antonio. "You only asked for one" he snickered.

"You couldn't even get your fucking numbers right?!" Lovina shrieked. "Listen to me bastard; when you get me out of this-and you better fucking get me out of this-I am going to-"

Lovina was cut off by a gag, which only led to extreme amounts of muffled screeching. The Egyptian rolled his eyes and glanced back at the thrashing Italian. "She talks too much" he groaned.

Antonio grabbed the man's collar and dismissed the threatening glares around him. "Give. Her. Back" he snarled. "I don't like what's mine being taken from me." The Egyptian just laughed at Antonio's threatening stare. The Spaniard was outnumbered and outmatched.

"Ntno! Yu bter fckng fic ds!" Lovina cried.

The last thing Antonio saw was the Egyptian's smug grin before the world went black him around after feeling a sharp pain in the back of his head.

Lovina had no idea where she was or where she was being taken. All she knew was that being strew across a camel is really uncomfortable. And she was hot. And she hadn't eaten since early that morning. She tried to scream, but her voice had gone hoarse and she knew no one would hear her or care.

Lovina let out a strangled gasp when a pair of hands grabbed her waist and set her down before shoving her forward. "Move" the stupid little ringleader ordered from behind her. Antonio was so fucking dead when he brought her back. And he was going to bring her back. He had to.

Lovina bitterly did as she was told, stomping forward and pulling away when anyone tried to guide her.

"Ds wd be sierf I cd s" she snapped. Someone grabbed her hair and brought his lips close to her ear. "Hold your tongue" he ordered before shoving her forward. Lovina noticed the man's voice was harsher, but it didn't seem to be directed toward her.

Lovina heard what sounded like heavy doors being opened in front of her. "Just please do as he says" her captor whispered into her ear before pulling her forward.

"Gupta! What have you brought me?"

Lovina didn't like his tone. She flinched when the blindfold was removed and light, though dim, flooded her vision. In front of her sat a cocky looking bastard adorned in over the top robes and a matching turban. He looked her up and down before throwing his head back and laughing.

"She looks feisty" he cackled as Lovina glared at him. Oh she couldn't wait until somebody removed that god damn gag.

"I hope she will be to your liking this time, Sadiq" Gupta responded with a slight bow. Lovina glanced and noticed his clenched fist after she sensed the malice in his tone.

"Tell me woman, what is your name" Sadiq cooed from his little perch. Bastard was such a coward, he hid his face behind a mask. Lovina smirked as the cloth tied around her mouth was removed.

"Fuck you" she spat. Gupta smirked a bit as he kept his eyes down. Sadiq chuckled and tilted his head to rest on his fist. "You are a feisty one. Good. Every other girl has been so boring. I had to send them all back."

Sadiq fixed his glare on Gupta and frowned. "It took you long enough to find me someone suitable" he hissed. Lovina watched as Gupta kept his head bowed. "Forgive me, sultan" he hissed. Sadiq waved his hand dismissively.

"Untie her. She's our guest, is she not?"

Gupta nodded before standing in front of Lovina and gently removing the ropes around her hand. "Do as he says" Gupta repeated quietly. After finishing, the Egyptian man stepped away, letting Sadiq hop down and inspect the girl closer.

"Tell me your name" he ordered. Lovina gulped and glanced around. No one was helping her now. "Chiara" she lied. Sadiq gave her an amused smirk as he circled around her.

"Chiara? You're a bit small, but you've got a lovely face" he cooed. Lovina scowled just to piss him off. "Sorry, but I'm taken" she hissed. Lovina caught Gupta shaking his head beside her. Sadiq smirked and gripped her chin.

"Not anymore, you're not" he snarled. Lovina had had enough. So she spat right in his face and stomped on his foot. She was wonderful at first impressions.

However, Lovina was not expecting a slap that would send her reeling back. She would have toppled to the ground had Gupta not been there to catch her.

"Don't worry, I will tame you soon enough" Sadiq hissed. "Gupta!" he barked. "Go take her to get cleaned up."

The Egyptian nodded and bowed one last time before ushering the Italian out and down a long passageway. "You are either the bravest or dumbest woman I have ever met, Chiara" he mumbled. Lovina glanced up at him and smirked when she caught the amusement in his forest green eyes.

"I'll take that as a compliment. And my name's Lovina" she scoffed. Gupta just chuckled and shook his head. He was sure this girl would be different.

I chose Turkey to be the hot shot for this because Egypt was ruled as a province by the Ottomans at the time (1700s-ish…). And Gupta is Egypt. He will play a marvelous role as the plot unfolds. I would just like to let it be known that my inspiration for this part of the fic is Indiana Jones, and I feel no shame. I just think of Marion when she's being taken screaming INDYYYYYYYY. And instead Lovina's like TONIIIIIII. It'snotlikeI'vealwayskindofseenthemassimilaroranythingwhatareyoucrazy.
