ANNABETHS P.O.V
I walked into my dorm room.
Katie was lying on her back, hanging off her bed. Thalia sat, with her face buried in her hands.
It looked like a mini tornado had struck.
Clothes were strewn all over the floor and furniture, stray shoes were scattered around and pots of creams and makeup sets covered the table.
Lou Ellen stomped out of the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around her.
She sighed and threw another dress onto her bed, adding to the pile. "Uh, guys?" I said. "What's going on?"
All three girls turned to look at me, acknowledging my presence for the first time.
"We're getting ready for our dates." Muttered Thalia drily.
"This is so not worth it." Grumbled Katie, sitting up. "I can't be bothered going through all this for one night out. It's just not worth it."
I raised an eyebrow, but decided not to comment. "Where's Piper?" "Out with Jason." Groaned Lou Ellen.
I bit my lip. Out of our group, Piper was definitely the one to go to when it came to dressing up. I shrugged, "We'll manage."
I checked my watch and cursed. "And if we're going to get there on time we're going to have to get dressed pretty fast."
Katie groaned and flopped back onto her bed. "I think you should wear this," said Lou, holding up a short blue silky dress."
Thalia wrinkled her nose. "Uh, no thanks." I nodded. "No, that would look good. Go get changed."
I said, handing the dress to Thalia. "Hurry up," I said, when I saw that she hadn't moved.
Thalia rolled her eyes. "Why isn't this good enough?" She held up her a black jacket, which was accompanied by black, denim jeans.
"Because, it's going to freak Luke out." Thalia snorted. "So is that dress." I sighed, "Look why don't you wear the jacket over the dress."
Thalia hesitated, then sighed loudly. "Fine." I turned to Lou Ellen, "I've got the perfect dress for you,"
I pulled out a casual purple dress. It was pretty without looking too over the top.
Lou Ellen beamed. "Thanks," "Hey Annabeth, how's this?" shouted Katie.
She held up a silver cocktail dress, with a ribbon around the waist.
"Thanks," I said, "it's great, nice outfit." I added.
"You really think it's okay?" asked Katie, twirling around in her green chiffon dress.
"It's perfect." Katie curled one of her locks around her finger.
"Great, now all that's left is makeup and hair."
THALIA'S P.O.V
Luke slipped his arm around my waist, and bent down.
"Hmmm, you smell good." He whispered. I curled my hand around the back of his neck. "Why thank you."
I smirked. "By the way, nice outfit." He raised an eyebrow.
"Is there something wrong?" I sighed and pulled away. "You look fine, except for that damn hat you're wearing."
Luke gave me a look of mock sadness. "You don't like it."
I shook my head. "Why the hell did you turn up on out first date wearing a sombrero?"
He gave me a crooked grin. "There is a good explanation."
I crossed my arms over my chest. "Enlighten me."
"Well, If by some chance you're father turns this way, he won't see us because of this, awesome hat."
I raised an eyebrow. "Luke take it off."
"Take what off?" I grabbed his hat and jerked it off, my eyes widened, and I screamed.
"What the hell happened to your hair?" Luke grumbled and snatched his hat back.
"Travis and Connor." I tried to suppress a smile, and failed terribly.
Which led on to me clutching my stomach laughing. All the while Luke scowled at me.
I punched him playfully on the arm. "Lighten up." He glared at me.
"Look, you can't really blame me; I mean my boyfriend's standing here glaring at me with sparkly pink hair covered underneath a sombrero."
Luke stayed still. "Well, this will definitely be something I'll never forget."
I laughed at my own joke. "Glad you find me funny Thals."
Grumbled Luke. I leaned closer to him, laughing softly. "Oh, are you upset?" He scowled at me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'm sorry, I won't laugh anymore."
"Good," he said, before leaning down to close the gap between us.
KATIE'S P.O.V
Travis brought the car to a screeching halt. "That's it Travis, I'm driving."
I ordered. Travis turned in his seat to look at me. "Uh, no you're not." He turned to look at his brother.
"Hurry up, man." Calm down, I'm going." Lou shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"Bye Lou have a nice evening." I called after her. Travis tapped his fingers impatiently on the console.
As soon as the doors were closed he started the engine and turned onto the road.
I sighed loudly. He saw the glare I was giving him through the rear-view mirror.
"What?" he asked. As if he didn't know. "Remind me to never let you drive again."
I stood up, having to hunch over, and tried stepping over the console. I got over, but not before banging my head continuously on the roof. "Ow,"
The car veered sharply to the right. I screamed and fell onto Travis. "TRAVIS!"
Travis winced, as he struggled to maintain control of the car again. "Sorry," I huffed and sat down into the shotgun seat.
"Where are we going?" I asked. "Wait and see," was all he said.
He turned left at an intersection onto a deserted road. "Travis…"
"I'm not going to tell you so why bother asking?" said Travis, cutting me off.
He stopped the car, and jumped out gesturing for me to follow.
I sighed and got out of the car. Only to freeze.
We were parked on some sort of hill; the dark sky was stretched above us, it was a clear night so I could see all the stars which made it even more beautiful.
"Wow," I breathed. "Good, you like it," said Travis. He hopped onto the bonnet of the car, and patted the space beside him.
I cautiously did as he said, and leaned back against the windscreen. "Well," I said, breaking the silence. "This is comfy."
Travis chuckled. "Always so negative." A cold breeze made me shudder, and I moved closer towards Travis.
I lay my head down on his shoulder, and placed a hand on his chest.
Travis slowly leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine.
The kiss was soft but it still made my stomach flip. Travis trailed his hand down my arm, causing goose bumps to form.
I shivered and pulled myself closer to him.
He wrapped one of his hands around my waist, and placed the other on my face.
I tangled my hands through his hair, and breathed in his smell.
Travis trailed his lips across my jaw, and then along my collarbone, I shivered.
I heard Travis chuckle softly. "Do you like my surprise?"
I pulled away to look at him. His hair was tousled artfully, and hung across his forehead over startling blue eyes.
"I love it." I said, still staring at him. He grinned and pulled me towards him.
