I don't own Danny Phantom.

Danny's blue eyes fluttered open. He took a second for his vision to clear before he sat up. His mind and body told him to rest but with the thought of his clone/daughter being hurt, determination filled his whole being.

His eyes scanned his small prison. The blood blossoms still lay threateningly in front of him and the walls were still glowing with ectoranium. He glanced down at the Specter Deflector around his waist. There didn't seem to be any cameras anywhere.

"Okay, Fenton," Danny whispered to himself. "Focus on one thing at a time. Let's start with these chains."

He observed the key hole in the chains before smirking and pulling a bobby pin out of his pocket.

"And Tucker makes fun of me for carrying around bobby pins," Danny said with a smirk. "They do come in handy."

He quickly picked the locks on his wrists with the bobby pin before picking the ones on his feet. He got up and paused for a second.

He quickly used telekinesis to unlock the Specter Deflector and throw it to the ground. He couldn't help but let out a quick laugh as he felt his energy and power returning.

Speaking of power, he glanced down at his hands to see green sparks of ectoplasm dancing on his fingertips. He smiled.

Now the blood blossoms.

Danny took one look at them before holding a hand out and using telekinesis to scatter them across the room, breaking the barrier.

He strode across the room, head held high, eyes blazing green with fury.

"The boy is clever, Plasmius. We need to be careful of what we do with him."

Danny spun around at the sound of the voice, eyes wide.

Vlad and Skulker walked down the stairs and froze at the sight of the room. There was blood blossoms scattered everywhere, the chains that had been keeping Danny pinned to the wall were hanging loosely, and the Specter Deflector was laying on the ground, obviously broken. Danny himself was nowhere to be seen.

"I told you we need to be careful with him," Skulker said.

Vlad's eyes changed to a bright red and his hands lit up with pink ectoplasm. He yelled and fired a blast at the wall.

Skulker jumped back in surprise.

"KILL THE GIRL!" Vlad yelled. "KILL DANIELLE PHANTOM AND BRING MADDIE FENTON TO ME ALIVE!"

"As—as you wish, Plasmius," Skulker stuttered before running away from the angry halfa.

Vlad glared at the hunter ghost as he left. He turned back to the room.

"You have made a mistake, Danny Fenton. One that will lead you to your daughter's death." He walked back upstairs.

Danny turned visible again, his fists clenched by his sides and his eyes blazing greener than ever, to the point where it would hurt someone to look at them.

"You have a death wish, Plasmius," Danny hissed. "And we'll see what happens next."

….

"So what exactly is the Far Frozen?" Maddie asked as she and Dani flew through the Ghost Zone.

"It's a place covered entirely in ice and snow and is the home of a group of yeti-like ghosts with ice powers," the halfa explained. "I think you'll like the Far Frozen members. They're nice."

"Well, well, well," a familiar voice said. "Dani Phantom and Maddie Fenton."

Dani's green eyes narrowed. "Skulker."

"Yes, it is I, the Ghost Zone's greatest hunter," the hunter said with a laugh.

"Yeah, interesting," Dani said, faking a yawn. "Now please go away."

Skulker chuckled. "No. I have an order to kill the young Phantom and take the ghost huntress to Master Plasmius."

Maddie barely had time to register that sentence before Dani was in front of her, eyes narrowed.

"Never," she growled. She glanced back at Maddie for a second. "Run," she whispered, low enough that Skulker wouldn't hear.

Maddie was about to when Skulker fired a blast that missed her by an inch. Without hesitation, Dani flew forward, delivering a painful kick to Skulker's chin.

Maddie took her chance and flew down to a rock as fast as she could. Before she could make it there, though, she heard Danielle yell, "No!"

Curiosity getting the best of her, Maddie turned to look… to see a blast of ectoplasmic energy hurling straight at her. She gasped and prepared herself to be hit with the blast.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, someone jumped in front of Maddie and received the blast straight to his or her chest with nothing more than a grunt. He or she fell down to a rock below the rock Maddie had tried to land on.

The person groaned again and scrambled to his or her feet, angry.

Maddie gasped as she recognized the person as her own son.

"Da—Danny!" Danielle yelled in happiness.

"You!" Skulker hissed.

"Danielle, move!" Danny yelled at his daughter. He whipped out an ectogun and fired a blast at Skulker.

The ghost grunted as the blast made contact with his chest. Danny fired another one before jumping up about 10 feet to the rock Maddie had recently landed on.

"You see that door over there?" Danny asked Maddie, who was behind him. He fired another blast from the ectogun.

Maddie nodded.

"It's an abandoned lair," Danny explained. "I want you to get Danielle and bring her there. I'll take care of Skulker here."

"Um… Danny?" Maddie said, looking at Skulker.

"Yeah?" Danny asked. He froze when he saw her looking at Skulker. He slowly turned to look at the ghost as well.

Skulker was holding Danielle with a knife held about an inch from her throat. She looked nervous as she tried to wiggle out of his grasp.

"You put her DOWN!" Danny yelled, eyes blazing green.

Skulker laughed. "I have orders from Master Plasmius to kill the girl." He pressed the blade up to her throat enough to draw a single drop of blood. "Maybe I can get you as well."

Without hesitating, Danny shot forward and slammed himself into Skulker. The ghost, not expecting the halfa's attack, dropped Danielle, accidentally hitting her arm with the knife, creating a long gash on it. Skulker, not wanting to let go of his prey, fired a blast that hit Dani. She screamed as she was blasted into the rock Maddie was standing on.

Thinking quickly, Maddie ran over to Danielle and picked her up, ignoring the blood from the girl's wound that was now dripping down the arms of her blue jumpsuit. Suddenly, Danny was in front of the two of them.

"Here." He tossed something to Maddie, which landed on Danielle's chest. "Don't lose sight of this."

Confused, Maddie looked down at the object. It was Dan's beat up Fenton thermos.

"Now, go!" Danny commanded.

He fired a blast at Skulker, throwing the ghost slightly farther away. Taking advantage of the distraction, Maddie flew towards the empty lair with speed she didn't know she had. Danielle groaned in her arms, barely conscious. The girl reached up and grabbed Dan's thermos and hugged it to her chest.

"Hey!" Dan yelled. "What's going on out there?"

"Tell you once we're in a safe spot," Danielle mumbled.

Danny watched from a distance as his mother and daughter managed to get inside the lair. He smiled and turned back to Skulker.

Skulker growled as he watched Maddie and Dani get away. He was about to go after them when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see an angry Danny Phantom floating there.

"Oh, this is going to be painful," the hunting ghost said.

With a grin, Danny slammed his fist into Skulker's face.
