True Nature

On their way out from the stadium, Seirin ran into Aomine and exchanged a few words. Before they could speak further, a voice popped up from behind Touou's tanned ace player, causing them to all turn around.

"Ah, Aomine-kun. It's been a while." A petite and pale teen nods, acknowledging his presence, his face blank.

"Tetsu! Where have you been?" Aomine looked surprised to see his former teammate. The azure haired boy was wearing a non-descript uniform, consisting of a grey blazer, slacks, paired with a crisp, white shirt and a black tie.

"Oh, I just came to see the results for the matches." Kuroko spoke slowly, still emotionless, but his next few words seemed to be harsher and sharper. "I heard you lost to a no-name school. How disappointing, Aomine-kun."

After the blue-haired boy was finished speaking, he simply left without so much as a word goodbye. Aomine was left in shock, his fists clenched tightly, almost to the point of pain.

"Tetsu…" Everyone present could hear the undertone of sadness in his voice. They had all thought he was a heartless bastard, who really didn't give two shits about other people, but there seemed to be more to his story than they originally imagined.

"Uh, sorry to break into your pity party, but who was that?" Kagami spoke softer than his norm, sensing Aomine's inner turmoil.

"… That was my old partner from Teiko, Kuroko Tetsuya. No one knows which school he went to… Except maybe that asshole, Akashi!" Aomine grinded his teeth together.

"Eh, partner?!" Seirin shouted.

"That runt?" Kagami asked.

"He has such below average stats from what I could see though…" Riko chimed in.

"Does that mean he's one of the Generation of Miracles that you warned us about?" Kagami inquired, curiously, as Aomine hadn't gotten around to mentioning their names.

"No. Didn't you know that the Generation of Miracles actually consists of six members?" Aomine looked confused at their lack of knowledge, despite claiming they would defeat the Generation of Miracles.

"W-wait, so the rumors about Teiko having a 6th player are true?" Riko spluttered in disbelief.

"Yeah, and it seems Tetsu is taking place in the Winter Cup. That's bad news for you; means that you have 4 more Generation of Miracles to face in this tournament." Aomine stated, grimly.

At this, Seirin exchanged worried glances with each other.

"Don't get cocky 'cause you beat me and Midorima. Murasakibara and Kise will be tough to deal with, but Akashi and Tetsu are different kinds of players. Psychological warfare. They're both tactical geniuses." Aomine continued on. Things didn't look good for Seirin's future.

AN: Hello, my fellow KnB lovers! WHO'S EXCITED ABOUT THE SECOND SEASON?! I was literally squealing and screaming while watching the episode yesterday, hurhurhur. Anyway, this was supposed to be a teaser, just to see who's interested in seeing more for this story... It's been lurking and moping around in my head for the longest time.
