Bath Time

"Mother Duck said 'quack, quack, quack, quack', but only three little ducks came back," Hermione sang to her giggling daughter as the toddler sat in the bath, bubbles surrounding the black-haired cherub and three small rubber ducks bobbing through the gently rippling water.

"Your turn," she said to her husband.

"I refuse to sing a nonsense song to our child," Severus drawled.

"Dada!" the two-year old demanded, slapping her hands on the water. "Pease, Dada?" she cajoled with a cute, pleading little pout.

"And you persist in thinking she will be a Gryffindor…" he said. "Three little ducks went out one day…"
