Chibi's Check-up 4

Toshiro yawned as he opened his eyes. The sun was just setting, perfect time to wake up. He shifted and his eyes went wide as he fell off of something. He landed in a heap on the ground and looked up, rubbing his head. He had been sleeping in a tree, not a roof. At first he was confused as to why he was in the world of the living, but then he remembered. Everyone was very adamant about him getting a check-up this year.

'I can't stay here for too long. I need to keep moving.' Toshiro told himself. He stood up from the ground and shunpoed off just as a senkaimon opened behind him.

"Are you sure you saw my taicho open a senkaimon by your division, Izuru?" Matsumto asked as she stepped out of the senkaimon.

"Yes. I am one hundred percent sure it was Hitsugaya-taicho who opened a senkaimon." Izuru replied.

"As long as you're sure." Hisagi commented, standing next to the tenth division lieutenant.

"Hold on a minute." Matsumoto said, holding up a hand. "Taicho was here recently."

"How can you tell?" Hisagi asked.

"He's my captain. I know his reitsu like the back of my hand." she replied.

"She's right. He was here. If we can trace his reitsu, we can follow him." Izuru stated.

"No problem." Matsumoto replied with a smirk, taking off in the direction her captain had gone in.

Toshiro didn't pause when he felt a senkaimon open, nor did he stop whe he felt three lieutenants' spiritual pressures. It only made him speed up.

'Damn it. They're already here. I need to loose them, but Matsumoto can track my reitsu easily. Where can I go?' Toshiro asked himself.

'Hmm... I hear Antarctica is nice and cold this time of year.' Hyorinmaru replied. Toshiro nodded his head in understanding and changed his direction to heading north. The three were gaining on him.

"Hitsugaya-taicho!" Hisagi called out to him.

"Taicho! Please stop! A check-up isn't that bad!" Matsumoto yelled. Ignoring them, he sped up to his maximum speed, loosing them again.

'You're a quarter of the way to Antarctica, master.' Hyorinmaru informed him.

"Hn." was Toshiro's response. Another hour and a half later, he was starting to feel the cold chill of Antarctica. He smiled to himself.

'They shouldn't be able to find me here.' he thought to himself, landing on the ice. He took a short look around, sort of sight seeing the magnificent place.

'How can it maintain this temperature all year around? I wish Seireitei was like this. It feels nice and calming.' he thought to himself, sitting down under a snow hangover. Toshiro looked around, continuing to be alert. That didn't last for long though. The cold mixed in with the serene atmosphere began to make the boy genius feel sleepy.

"I just took a nap though..." he mumbled, suddenly feeling drained.

'You have been shunpoing for the last two hours, master. That would use up lots of your reiatsu.' Hyorinmaru told him.

"Must stay...a...wa...ke..." he mumbled, jerking forward as he almost fell asleep.

'I will wake you if someone we know approaches. Take a short nap. It may not rebuild your reiatsu, but it should reestablish your energy.'

"Umm..." Toshiro replied, falling asleep.

"Why did taicho have to choose a place like this to hide?!" Matsumoto exclaimed, hands crossed over her ample chest and shivering, trying to keep warm.

"Maybe if you covered up a bit more, you wouldn't be as cold." Izuru commented, also wrapping his arms around himself and shivering.

"Focus, you two. We need to bring Hitsugaya-taicho back to Seireitei. Honestly though, for a check-up?" Hisagi commented, rubbing the back of his head, shivering slightly.

"Alright, alright. I'll track him." Matsumoto grumbled, squatting down on the ice. She reluctantly removed her arms from her chest and removing a small bottle powder. She made a circle on the ice with the powder, splitting it into four quadrants and writing a symbol in each.

"Bakudō #58. Kakushitsuijaku!" she said, placing both palms under the circle. She shivered at the contact with the ice. Numbers ran through the glowing circle, trying to pinpoint Matsumoto's captain. It located him a few miles west of where they are. They set out and found him just leaving his spot under a hangover.

"Taicho! Stop already! It's too cold up here for this! My boobs are going to freeze off!" Matsumoto exclaimed, shunpoing after Toshiro while hold her top closed.

"Stop chasing me than!" he cried back at her. The three lieutenants sped up, now on Toshiro's heels.

"Hitsugaya-taicho! If you do not stop now, we will have no choice but to use force!" Izuru declared. Toshiro stopped suddenly and the lieutenants skidded on the ice, continuing past him. The boy genius smirked and disappeared.

Heehee... sorry for the long wait. I'm obsessed with writing this new story of mine, Wish. Don't worry though. I won't leave this story unfinished. I am also sorry if this chapter wasn't very good. My head isn't on right at the moment. Sorry it's a bit short too. I'll update this story again within the next to weeks. I promise. That one should be longer. Hope you enjoyed though!
