Levi POV

Levi stared at the two leave and tilted his head in contemplation, "Since when are those two so close?"

Petra marched near Levi and hummed, "It's almost as if they were a couple. The way she dragged him away." Erd was surprised, "Who knows! But it's only been a day."

Auruo shrugged, "The commander is a smart man and he wouldn't go out with a brat like that!" Eren frowned, "I wonder, I never saw her act like that and I'm pretty sure her crush was Levi and not commander Erw-"

He covered his mouth his hands when the squad was looking at him, Petra went to him and grabbed his shoulder, "she had or has a crush on Levi?"

Eren shook his head, "I don't know… All I know was that she held on that pendant for like years. She even has a tattoo of the wings of freedom on her back. She has always wanted to be in the Survey corps but her mother begged her not to enter! When she died recently, it's only then she joined up."

Levi's eyes widen as he was getting the picture, "she likes me and wait, her mom died?" Eren nodded as he sighed, "She was able to save her from the attack in wall Maria but Trost was lethal on the woman."

Eren looked at the ground, "These days, she keeps to herself a lot. I know, almost, nothing about how she is doing. She used to talk to me a lot but I guess we didn't even have time to talk ever since the attack on Trost."

Erd nodded, "That's why she was always teasing Levi with such ease." Gunther frowned, "We were pretty cruel to her. Levi meant that much to her and we literally forced her to stay in HQ."

Petra crossed her arms defensively, "She still lied to us. I won't trust her because she has a crush on Levi! " Auruo was curious, "How did you know about her crush, Eren?"

The young boys scratched his chin, "When Levi entered the military, she wanted to enter too but I think she was too young when he did. Also she had that pendant on her for years and I'm pretty sure she said something along these lines: I want to be near Levi, once. Reason why I suspect she has a crush on the man."

Eren's eyes widen in realization, "Also, whenever we went to the gate to see you guys coming back from an expedition, she would always look at him with sad, longing eyes. Those eyes were almost begging him to look at her. If she doesn't have a crush on Corporal Levi then she really, truly cared for him."

Levi closed his eyes and exhaled, "stupid idiot, why didn't she just come clean? I owe her an apology…" Erd displayed a grim expression, "we all have to apologize to her."

Gunther nodded as he stared at Petra who just shrugged, "Yes, let apologize to her and get our backs stabbed again."

The guys stared at the red head who shrugged again, "Fine, I guess so."

The squad nodded and went towards the direction Erwin and (name) took.

Your POV

Erwin and (name) left the group and went in an alleyway, devoid of human beings, looking at your commander as you played with a strand of your (h/c) hair, "What have I told you yesterday, Erwin! Answer me!"

Erwin frowned, "What does it matter?" You blinked, "A lot matter!" The blond man brought his big hand on top of your head, massaging it, "Well, you told me, scratch that. Asha said you had a crush on Levi." You blushed.

Erwin continued, "You were upset because you didn't know how to fix things with Levi." You frowned at the words, "Anything else?" Erwin hugged you now and whispered in your ear, "I know you are a titan shifter."

The woman took a step back, "So, I was that smashed?" The blond man nodded, "You also showed concern about Levi finding, you were afraid of him finding out the truth."

You took another step back, "Do you think I can go back to Levi with that secret? Do you think he'd be able to accept me? Remember what he said at the trial..." Erwin thought back to yesterday, "You aren't a human but a monster..."

You held yourself as your entire body shook, "I'm too afraid to go see him. Even if, like I said and you laughed, he's my 'Prince'. When he visited me when I was younger, I was always so happy. You imagine if I were to tell in front of my parents that I'd want a thug as my special someone. I was 7 years old and my dad was part of the stationary troops, he knew who Levi was!"

You side glanced as you held the pendant Levi gave you, "I have held on to this, waiting, hoping to see him. For 13 years, I have been wondering about him. Literally, he was all I thought about. He was, like, a sick obsession. At the end of my goal, I just wanted to realize that pinky swear and be near him. Nothing else mattered, all that mattered was him. I want to be his life partner and I want to devote myself to him!"

You exhaled and stared at the ground, "but I'm afraid I fucked that up, Erwin."

You bit your lower lip and beads slid down your face as you sobbed, "I love him, I love him, I love him..."

You feel to your knees and started pounding the ground with your small fists, "Oh god, I love him so much but I'm afraid to become a burden on his shoulders, I'm afraid of not being worth him, I'm afraid of not being trustworthy..."

You paused and looked up at your commander, "I'm afraid of not being loved by him." You sat and curled up in a ball, rocking yourself, "I'm so afraid."

The blond man felt bad because he really needed your strength and even if he were to say that he'd always be there for you, in the end she would lose Levi, "(Name)... I know this is hard... This is hard for me to say."

You stared into the blue eyes and feared the worst and the commander spoke, "Forget about Levi, I need your strength." The words stabbed your heart, "But..."

He hardened his facial features as he harshly talked to you, "He's making you suffer, (Name) and badly at that."

You shook your head in denial and he continued on, "Get a grip, dear! So what if he doesn't love you? Will you fall over dead? If he were to die, would you drop dead?" At this you unleashed more tears, what is he saying?!

Erwin's stare bore into your eyes, "If you are just going to mop around, I won't need you here!"

Erwin narrowed is eyes and slashed his words towards you, "Do you think I didn't do sacrifices? I sacrificed my humanity to fight the titans outside! Countless soldiers died under my commander, people that I cared for are dead but do you see me mop around? No, I want to finish what I started! So that their deaths have a meaning."

You clenched your jaw as he continued hammering you with raw words, "Tell me, what is that patch on your back? Is it just for show? Is it just a stupid promise to meet up with Levi?"

He paused and exhaled, "If it's just that, leave the Scouting Legion." Your breathing became ragged as you blinked, letting all the words sink in, "What do you want from me, Erwin?"

He knelled down and wiped some of your tears off, "Like I said, I need your power. I want you to carry about one special mission, but this will hurt your relationship with Levi even more because I need to you to deceive everyone."

You gave him a pleading look, "No, please... Not this... I-I..." Erwin exhaled, "I'm sorry about this. But you know what they say: Keep your friends close and keep your enemies even closer. I need you to do this, (Name)."

You pinched your lips together, "What do you want me to do, boss?" Erwin gave you a sad smile, "I need you to deceive everyone. If the enemy is within our ranks, I want you to sniff them out. I need you to become friends with everyone in trainee squad 104. I need you to help the enemy, find out who they are so we can ambush at least one of them."

You tightened your balled fist and exhaled, "I understand..." You got up as Erwin did and you saluted him, "For humanities glory!"

Erwin showed you a smile, took you in his strong arms, pulled you towards him and hugged you as he whispered in your ear, "If Levi really gives you up, I'll be there to look out for you."

You knitted your brows as you hugged him even more tightly as you murmured in his ear, "Thank you, Erwin."

As Erwin hugged you, he walked forward, pinning your body between his body and a bricked wall as he lowered his lips to your ear, "I will always be there for you..."

He nimble your ear, in result you pressing your body closer to his, "Erwin, we shouldn't... Not here..."

He wasn't listening and you were forced into stifling you're mewls as you felt his teeth graze the sensible skin of your neck until he reached the base of your neck, lightly biting the soft flesh, "E-Erwin..."

Closing your eyes, you threw your head against the wall as you mingled your hands with is blond locks, keeping his head there as you heard him moan at the contact of your hand on his scalp, "Geez, if someone found us..."

One of your hands slowly descended his back, landing on one of his firm butt-cheeks, earning you another groan, "hum, pervert..." You felt him smirking against your delicate skin as you heard faint gasps of surprises coming from the street, well fuck...

Erwin, who was concentrated on your neck side-glanced towards the group of people, glaring at them as he removed his face from your neck, "Yes? Is there something you guys need?"

He straightened his hair as you exhaled by the nose, closing your eyes and trying to calm your racing heartbeat and nerves.

You released his butt, to your displeasure and Erwin brought his lips to your ear, "sorry to cut this short."

You shook you head mumbling, "Nothing a cig won't fix." You both walked to the group while they were observing you curiously.

You saw Levi's surprised face, you side-glanced and swayed your hip as you walked towards his squad, bringing your hands to the pockets of your jacket, I'll forget about him, I HAVE to forget about him if I were to do Erwin's bidding.

As you arrived to them, you took out a pack of cig and a light, "So Erwin, you want me to go to the old HQ?" the blond man smirked at you, "I didn't even have to announce it."

You shook the pack and a cig slide half its way out as you brought your lips around it, taking it out completely, "Well, might as well say it now. No point hiding that I will be staying in the old HQ to look over Eren and see that the cadets drill seriously."

Levi frowned, "what is the cause of you changing your mind?" You glared at the smaller man as you light up your cig, inhaling the poisonous smoke to exhale it, "What does it matter, Levi?"

Your tone was rough to hear, "you aren't going to whine now, will you? I'm going to help you look after kids."

Levi was pissed off, "Watch your fucking tone with me, kid?!" You smirked and laughed, "Look at the mighty little Levi getting all pissy because I don't give a fuck anymore. But if you really want to know, our dear Erwin asked me to 'help' you. Talk about it with him."

You half turned your face towards the blond man as you put your hands back into your jackets pockets, "I'll leave for a bit… "

He nodded at you, "I'll see you at HQ later. Swing by my office…" You looked at him, gulping and opening your mouth making your smoke lower itself, took your hands out and saluted him, "Sir!"

You closed your lips around the smoke once more, securing it and marched away from him and Levi's squad.

you puffed your smoke as you were walking away towards a local bar you knew, I… I… Just totally send him off… HAHA… Ha… Unknown to you, invisible tears were silently sliding down your face, I'm sorry Levi…
