Also, for those of you who didn't know the song used in the first chapter, it was by a group named Skillet and the song was Not Gonna Die. Only four people commented on the music thing and it was split. Two people loved it and two people hated it. I just want to say it was the first time I did something like that and I don't plan on doing it a lot. Naruto will still like music and I might say what he's playing or listening to but more than likely I won't be doing the whole lyrics thing again. I just thought it really explained how they felt and the situation.

Author's Note: I am so sorry for not updating for such a long time guys and I feel bad making you guys wait so long but if I'm being honest, on my list of things I like to do writing is near the bottom as I procrastinate and get writers block a lot. And I also have even less time to myself now as I recently got my first full time job. It amazes me seeing people update sometimes weekly and some people can do even more. So for those who can actually be patient with me I just want to say thank you. I know in my new story I said this was one of the stories on my latter list I got some ideas and got typing so hope you like it.

Chapter 2: Meeting Ice and Anger

Konoha

Tsunade was currently sitting in her office with a major headache thanks to two Uzumaki who had made a huge show of their departure by showing equipment that Tsunade had never seen but only heard about from the deceased Kushina. She had taken to drinking after hearing everything that had transpired as she had seen only the end of the show Naruto and Karin had provided for the village. She also could not believe that Naruto had gone so far to burn down his parents' home. But knowing that he had grabbed everything from the building before burning it down did makes things a bit better.

What she wasn't expecting though was that another one of her shinobi had left the village shortly after the meeting she had called the day after all of the excitement.

Flashback

Tsunade was in her office looking at the group who had been able to come at such short notice. Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Shizune, Yamato, Sakura, Sasuke, Ino, Sai, Tenten, Neji, Hana, Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma, Shiho, and Shikamaru. Looking around the room she saw that some looked like they could really care less at the subject of the meeting "Now then in case it is not obvious I have called you all here to explain why recent events came to be. Anyone have any ideas?" She asked looking at Sakura and Shizune with a heavy glare. Shizune looked down still upset with how her choice created a gift with someone she had spent years with, on the other hand Sakura looked like she could really care less.

Anko was the first to step forward "Well Tsunade-sama I think some of us have a good idea but not the whole story. For example, you seem very calm considering the Namikaze estate has been burned down. I mean who knows what valuable documents that were part of this village's history is now gone."

Tsunade merely smiled at this "Oh you don't have to worry about that Anko, Naruto and Karin made sure to grab everything that was of importance to his parents before leaving, although I didn't think he would go so far as to burn it down but all that really got burnt down was furniture it seems."

Anko merely nodded her head before almost everyone in the room suddenly yelled out in surprise "H-his parents!?" Ino and a few of the other girls yelled out.

Tsunade merely smirked thinking to herself 'Serves you right you selfish bitches' she thought seeing the wheels spinning in Sakura's, Shizune's, and Ino's heads. she got up holding two photos, one was a photo of Naruto with Karin without her glasses on and the other was Minato with Kushina. She held them up next to each other so everyone in the room could see them "Take away Naruto's whisker marks and I still find it confusing no one ever put it together. You'd have to be blind, stupid or selfish not to see the resemblance." Tsunade gave the photos to Anko so they could go around everyone coming to terms with Naruto's lineage.

Tsunade could only hold her grin back so much as they all compared the photos when she noticed Sakura didn't even bother to look "Hokage-sama but on the matter of how Naruto left, shouldn't he be placed in the bingo book as a missing nin?"

Tsunade merely held her hand up before arguing about how Sakura would even say such a thing "Sakura that will not be needed. Someone has to leave the village without permission to be labeled as a missing nin." At this she took two ninja headband out from her desk and looked back up "I gave Naruto and Karin Uzumaki permission to retire from Ninja status and leave the village. Even if Naruto still wanted to be Hokage I know after all the heartbreak" Tsunade stressed this word "and bad memories he would never be truly happy here so I suggested he leave and find someplace he and Karin could be happy."

Sakura scoffed, while the others were either indifferent or deep in thought. Anko was the first to catch Tsunade's attention as she looked like she was going over choices in her head when Hinata spoke up "Um, Tsunade-sama do you know exactly where Naruto and Karin were heading?"

Tsunade shook her head at this question "I do not know where Naruto and Karin were going but I do think Naruto said something about meeting someone who was close to his mom and that is all I will be saying for the moment." She looks around once more at everyone "Everyone except Hinata, Shino, and Anko you are dismissed." Everyone nodded and calmly walked out with the exceptions of Kiba, Sakura, and Sasuke who couldn't shushin out of there quick enough.

After everyone else had left Tsunade put up her privacy seals and say back down "Is there anything else you wish to know or tell me you three?" All three of them looked at each other before Anko stepped forward.

"Tsunade-Sama, I have a favor to ask." She stopped before Tsunade nodded her head "When and if you find out where Naruto is located can you relay that to me? I'd really like to go and talk to him about things I never had the chance to." Tsunade merely smiled on the inside

"If that is what you would like Anko that is fine. Anymore questions?" She looked at all three of them so see them shake their heads. "Alright you are all dismissed."

End Flashback

It took Naruto and Karin a while but after getting used to how things ran differently here they finally made it to the city he believed his mom's master lived in. There were so many different things here that he had not found in his house that amazed him such as cars, and the people here dressed so differently.

Naruto and Karin were walking around in amazement at how different this place was from the Elemental Nations and decided to take a break when they saw a park and decided to go and relax for a little. Naruto was looking all around while Karin had decided to relax on a bench.

He was walking around when he saw what appeared to be a young girl with short, light brown hair, and from what he could see her eyes were like rust color. She seemed to be wearing nothing but a long white coat that was covered in blood. Her face and eyes had a blank, depressed expression on them that reminded Naruto of his childhood.

He slowly walked over to her and tried to get her attention. "Hello, Miss? Are you ok?" He asked the concern in his tone obvious. He worried when she looked up for just a second with the same blank expression on her face. He walked over and kneeled on the ground in front of her so he could look up to meet her eyes and tried again.

"My name is Naruto. Are you ok? I was walking by when I saw that your shirt had blood on it. Are you hurt?" He asked finally getting her to look at him but still got the same expression before she finally spoke.

"Why are you talking to me?" She asked in a cold neutral tone.

Naruto softly smiled "I wanted to make sure you weren't hurt and wanted to see if you needed anything."

The girl looked back down "Why are you being so nice to me when I don't deserve such kindness?" She asked quietly "I am nothing but a tool that can no longer be used. I'm broken and I will never find an Ashikabi because I am useless."

Naruto was about to respond to her when a voice interrupted him from behind "Hey you there! Scrapped number! I'm going to need you to come with me."

Naruto turned around and had to rub his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. When he was done the newcomer's appearance changed. 'For a second there I thought I saw Sakura.'

This new girl was a little over five feet and was wearing a kimono-like shirt with one sleeve missing. She had pink hair in a side ponytail with two daisy clips. And her eyes were pink as well but a little darker than her hair.

She looked down finally noticing Naruto in front of the girl sitting on the bench. "Hey I don't know what you were here for blondie but beat it. I'm taking her back so they can try and find out what's wrong with her. We can't have her going wild in town."

Naruto looked at the girl and got mad with her tone and the way she was talking about taking this girl away and maybe even by force. "Why should I listen to you? Who are you anyways?"

At this the pinkette looked like she was about to yell before she calmed down "I work for MBI you little brat. I'm No. 105, Benitsubasa."

AN: Ok then that was the second chapter of Restoring Naruto's Broken Heart. For those of who that are still with me I know this was not as long as the first chapter but it was all I could get out of me this time. Now for this story and my original if I ever get back to rewriting it I would like a second hand to help out with ideas such as fights and how to move forward. I would also like to know it anyone would be interested in drawing covers for any of my stories. Now as I have said before I know have a full time job so I can't make promises on update regularity but I will do my best. And if you like this update and haven't checked it out yet please read my new Fire Emblem story and tell me what you think of that one too. Also for the last time I will take guesses on who are the six girls that will be with Naruto. Not sure what I will do to reward you other than correct you or tell you that you are right though.
