Author Note: This is my first "fic" in 7 years and this was a prompt.

Prompt: Jean and Marco happy.

I do not own Shingeki no Kyojin nor any of the characters.

I hope you guys like it? I haven't done anything in years, so it's probably pretty bad. If you want, I'm accepting other prompts related to SnK. Definitely not adverse to Ereri, Riren, JeanMarco (obviously). Though I don't mind trying my best at any other pairing. Anyways, onto the short! I hope you enjoy it!

"They did it! They sealed Wall Rose!"

Cries of victory rose up as everyone saw the trail of yellow smoke lift into the sky. It was one small step for humanity. Eren had completed the mission and it was just a matter of cleaning up the remaining Titans. After getting rid of all the titans within Wall Rose, everyone headed back to rest before having to go back and gather the bodies of their fallen soldiers.

Jean walked around the mess hall after everything settled down, looking around for a particular person who had risked their life while Jean was caught up with damaged gear.

"Hey, has anyone seen Marco? No? Tch, where could he be?"

It seemed that no one had seen Marco lately and Jean started to get sick with anxiety. He looked around frantically, trying to find his freckled friend's face in the crowd.

No, he's fine. He's okay. I need to stop worrying.

Despite trying to reassure himself, Jean began to panic.

He left the mess hall and stood outside, looking around before he spotted some of his fellow classmates. He walked over, but he didn't see Marco anywhere.

Where is he? Where could he be?

"Yo, Sasha. Have you seen Marco?"

Sasha looked at him with a raised brow, "No, can't find him?"

Jean shook his head and started to grow even more nervous, "If you see him, tell him I'm looking for him. I'm heading to the barracks to see if he might be there."

Jean jogs off, hoping that he'll find Marco in the barracks. He approached the building with a racing heart and entered with a feeling of dread.

"Hey, Marco? You in here?"

The barracks were void of any living being it seemed and Jean's panic really started to set in.

"Shit, Marco, where are you?"

He started to mutter to himself before he stopped after he heard running water. Someone was in the bathing area. Jean started to rush in, but as he turned a corner he ran into a stark naked form. Stumbling back, Jean blinked several times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating due to stress.

"J-jean? Why are you in such a hurry? What's wrong?" the all too familiar voice broke through his thoughts.

"Marco! Where have you been?" Jean grabbed the other boy by the shoulders and started to shake him. "I was so worried, I thought you were gone. Oh god, why didn't you find me after the mission?"

Marco stared at Jean in surprise and took hold of the hands that shook him, "Jean, it's okay. I just came to the barracks and decided to take a long bath. After everything that happened, you know."

Tears start to leak out of the corner of Jean's eyes as he withdraws his hands from Marco's and pulls him into a tight hug, "I thought you were gone, I was so scared."

Marco chuckled before pulling away from Jean's embrace and putting his hands on either side of Jean's head so that he can put their foreheads together.

"Jean, it's okay. I'm right here. It's okay. I'm fine. I'm whole." Marco continued to reassure him as Jean wept. He would stroke his hair and occasionally kiss Jean's forehead. Finally, Jean calmed down after a few minutes and looked up at Marco.

He gave him a sheepish grin, "Sorry, I got all weepy on you."

Marco let out a quiet chuckle before bringing his face closer to Jean's and planting a soft kiss on his lips, "It's okay, Jean. I love you and I'm here and it's okay."

Jean melted in Marco's bare arms and sighed as he finally relaxed, "Thank god, I don't know what I would do without you here."
