The same day Austin decided not to go to work. He called the record label and told them that he was working from his house, and by work it means that he is finalizing his album. Austin had been working day and night for the past couple of weeks to make up for the lost time. He had already recorded most of his songs "pre-breakup" and the rest he recorded when his life was back on track. The producers were really supportive and caring. That is why they sent their final options like the venue for the release party, and the photo-shoot dates for the album cover etc.

Around mid-day he woke Ally up. "Ally? Sweetheart wake up. It's time to get some food into your system."

"Yeah, okay.." she mumbled as she slowly got up.

"How are you feeling now?" he asked worriedly.

"A bit better. I don't feel nauseous at the moment so that's a good thing. And I am a little hungry." Austin smiled after hearing this. Maybe it is only a viral infection that was taking its time cool down. Maybe the doctors have it wrong.

"What do you want to eat? Tell me and I will cook it for you. I wouldn't recommend eating out because wouldn't want to reset whatever was causing you all this." He rambled on.

"Slow down love.." Ally laughed. She was looking a bit better as well. "And I was in the mood for some Pakistani food." She replies sheepishly.

"Wh-Whaat?" Austin was now confused. As far as he knew Ally, she had never even tasted Pakistani food.

"Are.. Are you sure? Do you even know how to make that?" he asked her.

"No, but that is why we have the internet. Plus the other day I was in the grocery store and saw some boxes that contained mixed spices. All we have to do is follow the directions on the back and we will be good to go." She explained.

"Okaay Ally, I am still not sure, but if that is what you want, then we will make it." He smiled. He was glad that Ally wanted to get out of bed and eat something. "Just tell me what box to bring and I will bring it for you"

Ally showed him the picture of the box with biryani (rice with chicken and spices) on it online. "Okay I will be back in a few! Love you!" with that he kissed Ally and went down stairs.

On his way to the shop, his mind kept on wandering on to the doctors phone call. He should have told Ally, he thought. But she seemed so happy and better, he didn't want to ruin it. He decided that he will tell her at dinner.

Austin went to the shop, got the box and some other stuff he think he needed and went straight home. When he got home, he saw Ally was watching television. As soon as she saw Austin, she got up and asked him to follow him into the kitchen. While she was making the dinner, she would get some headaches and Austin would beg her to stop working but she wouldn't budge.

They followed the exact directions from the back of the box. The final result, it was really good. Well Ally thought so. For Austin, it was a bit spicy.

"Austin it is not that spicy!" She exclaimed. "yeah it's not THAT spicy, but its good. I like it." He answered.

A few moments passed and Austin broke the silence. "So the hospital called today."

"Yeah? What did they say?"

"Nothing, they just said that they have a feeling that they know what it is. That is why they want you to come in tomorrow for one last test so that they can be sure of it." He explained.

"Oh, okay, but why another test? God I hope it's nothing serious."

"Hey, hey, don't worry." He grabbed her hand and rubbed his thumb on the back of it. "Whatever it is, we will get through this, together. Now stop worrying and let's eat this delicious food" he tried to lighten up the mood.

The next day

"Austin I have a weird feeling about today.." Ally said as she walked into the hospital with Austin. To say Austin himself was not nervous would be a lie. He was beyond nervous. He just wanted his Ally to be okay.

"Don't be. I am sure everything will be fine." He gave her a smile. They walked towards the front desk and told the girl working there that they are here for some tests. The girl nodded and told them which room to go into. Austin and Ally walked inside the room only to find that a doctor was waiting for them. It wasn't their doctor, just someone to take Ally's blood and what not.

"Mrs Moon I presume?" he asked. Ally just nodded.

"Please take a seat" he said. He did the usual procedure of taking Ally's blood pressure etc. after that he took some of Ally's blood. Next he asked Ally to pee in a cup. Once Ally was in the bathroom Austin finally spoke.

"Do you have any idea what's wrong with her?"

The doctor gave Austin a tight smile and said "we are not sure at the moment. These tests will confirm everything. They won't take long. You can come after an hour to see the doctor. She will tell you everything." Ally came out of the bathroom and handed the cup to the doctor. The doctor just smiled and walked out.

"What did he say?" Ally asked.

"Oh nothing, he just said that we can come meet the doctor after an hour so that she can discuss these tests of yours" Austin told Ally.

"Oh.." was all Ally said.

"Hey! Don't worry. Let's go grab a bite to pass the time" Austin hugged his wife and kissed her on the head. But he couldn't help but feel scared.

An hour later

Austin and Ally were in Dr. Seth's room waiting for her. Ally was trying her best not to eat her hair. The only thing that was stopping her was Austin's hands.

"Hi. Sorry to keep you waiting." Dr. Seth walked in with some papers in her hands.

"Oh no its okay." Austin said.

"Right, let's get down to business. Ally, I had to double check all your test results just to make sure we were clear on everything. That is why we called you in for another test today to confirm everything. We wanted to be 100% sure on everything before we talked to you guys" She told Ally as she opened her files.

S-So what is it?" Ally asked nervously.

"Cancer."
