Heavenly Throne

A lone figure stood before Heaven's Throne, white and blue flames danced along the ground as the person stood. A massive beast made of white stone floated before them, its name was Polaris.

Ah, so you have bested me again Hibiki. How many more times will we meet like this?

Hibiki didn't answer him. The only sound that came from her was the flapping of her torn jacket in the winds blowing around her.

"I would assume until you end this little game of yours Polaris."

Hibiki spun around to face the owner of the voice, becoming shocked when it turned out to be the Anguished One.

So, you survived after all, you heretic.

Hibiki stepped away from the boy as he smiled at her. He was supposed to have been defeated, it cost her friends' lives to stop him, and he was here smiling.

Feeling something snap in her she rushed toward the boy, her phone glowing with a red light as she punched it toward him. He simply caught her hand and knocked the phone away.

"Now Shining One, I am not here to hurt you."

Then what do you want?

Smiling even wider the boy turned toward the Septentrione king and began to speak.

"You have been putting this girl through the same thing for the past seven weeks, and I think this is enough."

Polaris seemed to contemplate his request as he just sat for a few minutes doing nothing.

Very well, I shall put this girl through one last test challenge, and the outcome of this final week will be the last.

The Anguished One nodded as he returned his gaze to the girl.

"Shining One, this is the last chance to prove yourself."

He leaned toward her and began to whisper his next sentences.

"I will make it to where you keep your memories, this will allow you to make the choices that need to be made. I also have given you a gift that will give you an advantage for this last challenge."

Hibiki slowly nodded as the world around her began to fill with light. Both of the Septentriones vanished from her field of view and the world began to rewrite itself.

Testing Site

A small group of students chatted amongst themselves as the testing hours ended.

In the back of the class sat a girl wearing a white jacket with rabbit ear extensions, a blue and white stripped shirt, blue pants, and black shoes. She sat there with no emotion evident in her blue eyes.

Pulling down her hood she ran a hand through her short, messy black hair. She had a feeling that this was familiar, like she had previously done this, but she couldn't put a finger on the reason why.

The door to the class suddenly slid open as a student wearing a grey jacket and pants strolled in and walked over to her.

"Hey Hibiki, so how was the test for you?"

Then it really began to seem familiar to her.

I hope you enjoyed this short introductory chapter. I will attempt to make the others longer. If you are curious about why the main character is female in this is because I have always wanted a female protagonist in this game ever since I beat about seven or eight times. Also for the fact that I get try and write a story like this. I hope you have a nice day!
