Hey guys, Carmen here.

Wow- it's been such a long time since I've worked on this story. I originally published this as "Persona, What Really Happened" back in 2013, when I was just fourteen years old. Over the course of time, this fanfiction went through many changes as my writing improved and of course, as my original plans for this story evolved. Eventually, I changed the stories name to "The Fools" as it is now. And I, of course, intend to keep it this way. I just wanted to give you all an update on this story to inform you that I am currently in the process of rebooting this as a series of one-shots instead since I realized the timeline inconsistency in certain chapters. When I first started this story I didn't even know what one-shots or drabbles were ha-ha. But I guess I'd been making them all along.

With that being said, I also would like to let you know that I am also re-writing each chapter. Although I find what I'd written years ago to be decent enough for the age I was at the time, I'm not one-hundred percent happy with it. And I know I could do better. So I'm excited to share how much I've improved in writing with you all.

I'm also super excited to wow all the original followers of this story. A few in particular who had given me their input from the very beginning. The first re-written chapter should be up later this week or early next week. I can't wait to post it! I truly hope you all stick around to see the completed rewrite of The Fools!
