End of previous chapter

Kidou watched as Gouenji disappeared into the building, before he quickly turned around and basically marched to Endou and Chanel.
"Endou," Kidou said strictly.
"Hey Kidou," Endou said, standing back up happy to have Chanel off his shoulder.
"Gouenji saw you just then. And trust me when I say this, he got the wrong idea from its all," Kidou said.

Endou eyes widened in shocked.
"Wait... Do you mean..." Endou started.
Kidou simply nodded.
"Oh god..." Endou said before beginning to sprint towards the main school building, leaving Kidou and Chanel.
"What have I done?" Endou thought.

Endou spirited into the main building, almost knocking people over on many occasions. He had to find Gouenji and explain what just happened, and fast. Endou felt like he was running as fast as Kazemaru, looking in all the classrooms on each floor, in all the bathrooms and every single corridor, but still no Gouenji. He asked everyone around if they'd seen him, yet no on had. It was almost like he had disappeared completely.
After searching the entire school, then retracing his steps another three times, Endou stopped just outside the soccer club room, completely exhausted. Endou had no idea where to look next. Suddenly the bell went for the end of the break, and Endou saw all of his class mates and others moving back into the main building for their classes.
Endou sighed, and followed them back to class. He knew Gouenji should be in his next class, yet he wanted to explain everything that was going on in private. He didn't want Gouenji to lash out at him in the class room in front of all their friends. But he had to say something to him when he saw him, and to try and convince him that nothing happened.

Endou walked slowly to class, rehearsing what he was going to say to Gouenji in his head. He made it to the outside of his classroom, took a deep breath, and entered. He looked around at the average classroom atmosphere, seeing all the girls chatting and the boys on the bridge of fall asleep. But everything else became a blur when he noticed Gouenji, sitting alone at a desk on the other side of the room, with his chin resting on his hand as he stared out the glass windows. Gouenji turned his head slightly towards Endou standing by the doorway. But he didn't look angry, or upset... Just... Lifeless almost. It truly broke Endou's heart to see Gouenji like that. It was like the strong flame in his eyes that burnt so brightly had completely burnt out. And Endou know it was his fault. Endou destroyed this fire in Gouenji that helped him push through, carry on and except things, just by a misunderstanding. But it had happened, and Endou had to fix it.

Endou walked over to Gouenji and stood firm. "Gouenji..."
After no response, he spoke again. "Gouenji, I'm sorry. I know you saw me with Chanel, but nothing is going on between us."
Gouenji still didn't reply, he only continued to stare out the window like before. Endou felt saying sorry was probably the most basic thing to say. But what else could he say?
"Gouneji... I'm... I'm telling you the truth. I don't like Chanel that way. It's only you I feel that way about, and it's always been you. I don't care if she's rich, or pretty or anything like that, nothing compares to you."
Gouenji finally turned his head. Only a little, but that was better than nothing.
"I promise, nothing is going on between Chanel and I. I've never had feelings for her, and I don't get how she could like someone like me. Heck, I'm still amazed that you like someone like me. So... yeah," Endou said, still seeking a response. Yet Gouenji continued to look at him with dale eyes before turning back to the window.
Endou sighed in frustration and disappointment. "Ok... I completely understand if you're mad at me, so I'll just leave you alone for awhile," Endou said before turning and began walking back to his desk, but stopped to say one last thing. "Oh, and one more thing. If you still don't think I'm telling you the truth, just remember. Why would I want someone who has a million dollars when I already have someone right in front of me who's priceless?"
Gouenji's head quickly turned around towards Endou, but he could only watch as he walked away. Gouneji could truly tell he was sorry, and he felt a bit bad for going him the cold shoulder. A smile suddenly appeared on Gouenji face.
"You think I'm priceless, huh?" Gouenji said to himself while laughing under his breath. "You're truly hopeless Endou."

Endou's P.O.V

As the day went on, Gouenji looked better than before. I truly hoped he had forgiven me. He still hadn't talked to me yet, but I think what I said got to him. After the final bell of the day went, I began clearing my desk as usually, looking over to Gouenji very few seconds as he did the same. I thought of going over to talk to him again, but I thought it was best to leave him alone for a bit. When I looked back down to my desk, I noticed a folded piece of paper that wasn't there before. I picked it up and unfolded it, realising it was a note. It said "I'll be waiting in the soccer club room. Come meet me - Chanel" in big fancy handwriting. Ok, now this was getting annoying. This would be the best opportunity to tell her that I was not into her. I decided to leave my books and go see her now before soccer practise. I was really sick of all of thing, and I was more than ready to tell her, and no longer afraid to hurt her feelings. When I made it to the club room, I slid the door open, seeing Chanel sitting on the small desk inside.

"Hey Endou," she said cheerfully, standing up and walking closer.
"Hi. Look, there's something I need to tell you," I said firmly, looking her straight in the eye.
"Really? So do I," she said, wrapping her arms around my neck. It felt so different and weird when someone else did this. Gouenji has really been the only one who ever gets this close to me.
"I think we should take our relationship to the next level," she said in a seductive voice.
"Wait... What?!" I said loudly. "Next level?! Wait... We're not in a relationship."
"Yes we are. I like you, you like me. It's simp,e that we're in a relationship," she explained, inching herself closer and closer to me.
"Ok hold on here. We are not in a relationship," I stated. "And I don't like you that way."
Her expression changed to shocked. "What so you mean you don't line me? Is this another one of those jokes like before?"
"No, it's not. I don't like you, ok?" I said again strictly. I've never said something so mean to any one before, but there was no way I was going to go easy on her. All of a sudden, she started laughing.
"Ok ok. Enough with the jokes," she said still slightly laughing.
"For the last time I'm not joking!" I shouted. This girl was so stubborn!
"Oh come on now," she said in a sweet tone, but to me it was more sickly sweet than anything else. "You don't need to shout."
"I don't care! Can you please just understand that we're not in a relationship and I don't like you?!" I begged loudly, screwing my eyes shut in frustration.
After I long and awkward pause, I suddenly heard her giggle. As I began to open my eyes, I was suddenly pushed against the wall of the club room, banging my head.
"Ow... What was that f..." I couldn't even finish my sentence, as I was interrupted by Chanel forcefully pushing her lips onto mine. It was all wrong. Because she kissed me so quickly and was forcing it so much, I was finding it difficult to breathe. She purposely pushed me against the wall so I couldn't pull away. Plus she again had wrapped her arms around my neck, trying to deepen the kiss. It was disgusting having someone else kiss you when you were so used to the soft gently kiss of another.

I suddenly heard the door of the club room slid open. I couldn't turn my head with Chanel's arms around my neck, but in the corner of my eyes, I saw a head of platinum blond hair. I finally pushed Chanel away and turned my head fully, having a sudden wave of sickness run through my body when I completely saw who it was.
"Gou... Gouenji...?" This was it. He now officially hates me. He was in completely shock, with his expression soon changing to pure angry, with clenched teeth and a sharp piercing gale, before we marched over to us. I prepared for the worst, being hit multiple times. "Gouenji, wait! I can explain!" I begged holding my hands out to try and stop him. But it didn't help. He grabbed my waist and tugged me towards him, but he didn't hit me. He... He pulled me behind him and spread out his arms.
"Don't you dare come near him," he said loudly.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Chanel asked angrily walking towards Gouenji to try and get past him, to Gouenji only grabbed her by the shoulder ang pushed her back.
"I don't want you ever coming near Endou again. He's mine!" Gouenji shouted. I was amazingly surprised. Was he... Protecting me?
"Yours? What do you mean yours?" She said, sounding offended. "We're the ones in a relationship here."
"No you're not. He's my boyfriend. And I'm not letting a stupid daddy's girl like you take him from me."

"What?! Daddy's girl?! You jerk!" She shouted. "How dare you say something like that to me! You can't just take someone from someone else and say they're yours!"
I heard Gouenji sigh as he lowered his arms. "Ok, look here. I'm only going to say this one more time. And if you don't understand, it's your own fault," Gouenji said walking closer to Chanel. "So I'll make it clear. If I ever see you even 5 metres away from Endou ever again, I will personally rip out your eyes, shove them down your throat so you can see me rip your body open with my own two hand!"
Gouenji's voice echoed through out the room. Chanel looked utterly terrified, while I probably stood there in completely shock. I mean I know Gouenji was tough, but... Wow... I had never heard Gouenji say something like that to anyone before. it was bad ass! And I liked it.
"Now get out of our club room," he said holding back even more angry than before. And with that Chanel sprinted out of the club room, not saying a word.

Normal P.O.V

Endou and Gouenji stood there in silence after Chanel left.
"Wow Gouenji... Where did that come from?" Endou said laughing a bit. "I've never heard that side of you before."
"Don't get to cocky Endou. I'm still mad at you," Gouenji said not even looking in Endou direction.
"Why are you still mad at me? You knew I didn't like her. I told you that remember?"
"You... You were kissing her. And you weren't even pulling away," Gouenji said crossing his arms, still looking away.
"How was I suppose to pull away when I was been pushed against a wall? It's kind of hard if you ask..." Endou stopped in mid sentence when he realised what Gouenji had just said. "Wait... You're upset that she kissed me?" Endou asked.
"Well... Of course I am. I mean would you be as well if someone else was kissing me?"
"Yeah I guess. But maybe you were just jealous."
"What?!" Gouenji shouted finally turning around to Endou.
"I'm saying you were jealous that Chanel was kissing me instead of you," Endou explained with a devilish smile.

Gouenji didn't know what to say to that. He tried thinking of a comeback, but nothing came to mind. "Just... Shut up Endou," he said looking away again from embarrassment. "And I wasn't annoyed just by that. The fact that she was all over you was annoying the crap out of me."
"Then... Then it must be true," Endou said in a over cheerful voice.
"What must be true?"
"You being annoyed that I was with someone else, me kissing someone else, you protecting me and saying I'm yours. That means you must truly love me!" Endou shouted.
"Oh will you shut up?" Gouneji said seriously but with a smile.
"Oh by the way. How did you find me here? I mean I got a note from Chanel to meet her here," Endou asked.
"Oh... That. Well you left the class room with your books, so I thought you were going some where quickly. So I wanted to talk to you to say that... I forgave you for what happened."
Suddenly, Gouenji felt a pair of arm wrap around his back. "Thank god. I though you hated me," Endou said.
"I couldn't bring myself to hate you," Gouenji replied returning the hug.
"Gouenji? Thanks for helping me before with that psycho," Endou said after moved away from the hug.
"My pleasure."
Both Endou and Gouenji smiled at each other, happy that there wouldn't be any more problems with that girl. Gouenji then walked over to the club room door and opened it before looking back at Endou.

"Come on. We'll be late if we don't hurry up and get our uniforms for practise."
Endou continued to smile as he ran over to meet Gouenji before quickly giving him a kiss.
"Sure thing sweetie," he said before running off.
"Endou! I told you not to call me that!" Gouenji shouted as he ran after him.

The next couple of days were filled with non stop questions about what happened to Chanel, for she hadn't been seen since Gouenji lashed out at here. There were multiple rumours of her getting badly sick, or going to another school, or even another country. But no one really knew where she had gone, not even the teachers and staff knew. Everyone was quite worried about her. Except for really Endou and Gouenji, who were joking about how Gouenji probably scared her.
"Don't you find it a little weird how she's just disappeared?" Endou asked Gouenji as he rested his chin on his desk in boredom.
"Frankly I don't really care. Good riddance if you ask me," Gouenji replied with his arms crossed as he sat on the other side of the desk opposite Endou.
"Now that's rude," Endou said sitting back up straight.
"Don't tell me you're actually sad she's gone?" Gouenji asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Hell no. But the way you said it was cold," Endou replied laughing. The two went silent for a bit, and just listened to conversations of their class mates.
"Hey Endou?" Gouenji asked.
"Yeah?"
"I know this is sort of sudden, but... You seemed so upset when I told you I meet up with my family a while ago. So what I'm trying to say is I'm seeing them on the weekend, and I was wondering if you wanted to come and you can meet them?"
Gouenji looked towards Endou for his response, only to find him with eyes so big they looked like they were sparkling.
"Are you serious?" He said, looking like he was tears eyed. "I'd love to!" He then jumped out of his chair to give a massive hug to Gouenji, while accidentally throwing Gouenji backwards off his chair with him on top.
"You're an idiot Endou."
