hello againg readers and writers! first let me just say i'm sooooooooooooooo sorry for not updating this story for awhile. School has been driving me crazy and i have other ideas for other fanfictions on the brain. But i would like to thank you to those who read, review and favorite this story. so in this chapter, Sarah and Aphrodita get to know each other a little better in this chapter. so please enjoy this chapter: Getting To Know You!

Chapter 7

Getting To Know You

Aphrodita reappeared in the hallway and went walking towards her room. Then a sudden thought came to her, causing her to stop dead in her tracks. Aphrodita thought about all the other times when she gotten Jareth mad at her. It was usually the next day when Jareth would stop being mad and would forgive her. Now that she thought about it, Jareth was no longer mad at her and it only took her a few minutes. If she had gotten back on Jareth's good side this fast, that could only mean one thing and one thing only; Jareth was up to something.

I don't know what you're up to, brother dear, but I'll be one step ahead. Aphrodita thought to herself.

With that in mind, Aphrodita walked back to her room. When Aphrodita came back in her room, she saw Sarah out on the balcony looking up at the sky. Aphrodita saw the look on Sarah's face. It looked like she had a lot on her mind.

"Sarah, is everything alright?" Aphrodita asked, walking towards Sarah.

"I'll be fine." Sarah answered, turning towards Aphrodita. "I was just thinking about something."

"What were you thinking about?" Aphrodita asked.

"I was wondering if I should even be here right now." Sarah replied sadly.

"Well, of course you should be here, Sarah." Aphrodita said. "Why would you think otherwise?"

"Because, from what happened earlier, Jareth didn't look too happy to see me." Sarah answered.

"Don't worry yourself over that, Sarah dear. That was just Jareth being his stubborn self." Aphrodita said reassuringly. "Deep down, he was happy to see you. He missed you a lot."

"But, how can you be so sure, Aphrodita?" Sarah asked.

"Because, sometimes I know Jareth better than he think he does. Trust me, Sarah; everything will work out alright in the end." Aphrodita answered. "But let's not worry about that now, besides, I have good news for you."

"What is it?" Sarah asked.

"Well, I'd convinced Jareth to let you stay here." Aphrodita replied happily.

"You did?" Sarah asked, with a look of complete shock on her face.

"Sure did, and I got back on his good side." Aphrodita replied. "At least he didn't say he was going to throw me into the Bog of Eternal Stench. He's been threating to do so for months now."

"He really said that?" Sarah asked Aphrodita.

"Yes, although he doesn't mean it half the time." Aphrodita answered. "But, why don't we save that story for another time. I would really like to finish the conversation we had in the library so we can get to know each other. Shall we go back inside?"

"Okay, Aphrodita." Sarah said, as she and Aphrodita went back in the room.

The two of them sat down on the bed and Sarah told Aphrodita about her life for the past five years. Aphrodita found out that after Sarah left the Underground, Sarah had gotten closer to her family and she would still call on her friends from the Underground.

Aphrodita also found out that after Sarah had graduated high school, she still have her active imagination and now she's in college and works part-time at the library.

"Okay, now it's your turn." Sarah said to Aphrodita. "Tell me about yourself, Aphrodita."

"Alright. Well, besides of being a Fae and the sister of the Goblin King, I'm also a Guardian of both the Underground and Aboveground." Aphrodita said.

"A Guardian?" Sarah asked.

"That's right. Being a Guardian means I give anyone the choice to change their dreams or nightmare based on the decisions they make or had already made. It's similar to the powers of my crystals." Aphrodita explained. "Now only that, I can also reorder and alter time."

"It all sounds very exciting." Sarah replied, slightly yawning.

"We can finish this conversation tomorrow. You need to get yourself some sleep." Aphrodita said, getting off the bed. "Come, I'll show you to your room. It's right next to mine."

Sarah gotten off the bed and follow Aphrodita out the room to the room next door. When Aphrodita showed Sarah the room, she was stunned. The room looked exactly like Aphrodita's, but there was some furniture, a fireplace, two large bookcases and the colors were blue, silver and white. Sarah didn't know what to say.

"I take it that you like your room?" Aphrodita asked as still very stunned Sarah.

"I don't know what to say." Sarah said, finding her voice. "Thank you, Aphrodita. It's beautiful."

"You're welcome, Sarah. Now, there are some dresses and nightgowns in the wardrobe and the bathroom is the door near the fireplace." Aphrodita said. "I'll see you in the morning, Sarah. Good night."

"Good night." Sarah said, as Aphrodita left the room.

Sarah looked around the room as she went to the wardrobe. When she opened the wardrobe, there were at least dozens of dresses and shoes on one side and nightgowns on the other. After standing in shock in front of the wardrobe, Sarah pulled out a long white nightgown and went to the bathroom to take a bath. Even the bathroom itself was large and decorated with the same colors of the room. While she was taking a bath, Sarah couldn't help but to wonder what other surprises Aphrodita had in store for her. Knowing Aphrodita, the possibilities were endless.

After taking her bath, Sarah walked out the bathroom wearing the nightgown she had picked out. Just as Sarah climbed into the four-poster bed, her thoughts went to Jareth. For some strange reason, Sarah couldn't shake the feeling that the Goblin King was up to something. But what that something was, she didn't know. Sarah just sighed, laid her head down on the pillow and went to sleep.

There you have it readers and writers! it looks like Aphrodita and Sarah are both suspicious of Jareth. I do wonder what's he up to. Not sure when the next the chapter will be up, but i do hope soon. so please, leave nice reviews and stay tuned...
