**Author's Note 7/14/20**
I been curious about the whole reincarnation OC Self-Insert theme considering it's a spin-off from the original idea of someone from our world waking up in a fictional one. So I've created this story using a particular and somewhat complicated character — which nicely fits with my own idea.
Please note, this will be written in a different story format but still keeping in touch with telling you, the reader, a story.

There's something to be said about life, you see.
We're born crying, live to complain, and eventually die disappointed.
It goes without saying that I had gone through the first phase, currently on the second and here's hoping I won't die till I'm eighty or something – and hopefully not disappointed either.
That will be way too depressing when you consider all the time we have to *not* die disappointed
Frankly, it's sad that I'm already contemplating about my life when I'm only twenty. Far too young one would say but damn it all – there's a lot I had gone through and a lot I wish I had not. What can you do? It's life. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my life despite all its flaws. You just can't possibly have life be sugary sweet and not be occasionally stained with decay.
The good and the bad go hand in hand.
Like Life and Death.
I'm getting philosophical again.
That's one of my many quirks I'm proud to call my own. Nothing grand or noteworthy and it definitely does not gain me a lot of friends either. Doesn't take a wild guess as to why, right?
I'm just as average as a girl my age can be — whatever average is. Between still living with my parents and working a part time job, I barely had enough time to do what I want. I'm either running from one point to another and once I'm ready to just sit back and really relax, it's already time for bed. Luckily enough, I still managed to catch up on my entertainment thanks to the ever-so-modern smart phones my generation are blessed to own cheaply. I'm talking about those prepaid phones — I'm not about to get tied down with a contract just to pay off my phone and service.
Between reading an ebook, watching a show or listening to music — I had an entertainment center that fits comfortably in my hands and back pocket.
So while I may be busy running here or there, I still had something to do in those short downtimes. That is one of the many things I love about this life.
To live in an era where everything is practically safe and medicine can practically cure all. Where you can go to a different country and it would only take hours to get there; while at the same time you could learn and come close to immersing yourself in a culture from the safety of your own room.
You can do all of this and more while being surrounded by the ones you love.
That's one of the things I love about this life and wouldn't change it for anything else in the world.
AN: Yes, the chapter is shorter than what you'd expect but I will still be telling a story, granted, in shorter chapters but more frequent. All chapters will be a continuation from its previous ones, so there's no standalone jump points that you'd expect in drabbles.
