Violet ran down the halls of Hogwarts, wand in hand. She stopped, listening. The sound of her panting filled the air. She heard sounds of blasts from different spells. Distant screams were heard. She shivered slightly, her Slytherin uniform consisting of a short skirt and a blouse with a cloak hardly keeping her from the cold. Her left sleeve was in shreds, cut open from a Death Eater's spell to prove that she was a Death Eater herself. Her Dark Mark showed clearly on her pale skin.

"Draco." She yelled softly for her boyfriend.

She huffed in annoyance. She was tired and had yet to find Draco despite her frantic searching. She had made a promise to his parents, his mother in particular, that she would keep him safe. How hard could it be to find someone with platinum blonde hair? Apparently a lot harder than she thought it was. She had slunk around the edge of major battles, standing on her tip toes to see if she could see just a glimpse of his hair. She had no luck and was now looking through the more desolate parts of the castle. She heard a loud commotion around the corner, and she ran to it. She ran right into the arms of Draco.

"Oh, thank god!" Both said at the same time.

They embraced each other tightly, refusing to let go again. They kissed a few times, hands gripping each other.

"Where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you." Violet said.

"I've been with Crabbe and Goyle." Draco seemed a bit choked up. He paused for a moment. "Crabbe's dead."

She pulled away slightly.

"No." She breathed. "I'm so sorry."

"There's nothing to be done now." He said, his eyes dull.

Violet stroked his hair, staring at him.

"Don't worry. I'll keep you safe." She whispered.

This war was a hard time for both of them. They were magical skilled, but they weren't ready for the horrors of war. They were much too young.

Draco looked into her eyes.

"I should be saying that to you." He whispered back.

He kissed her softly. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer. His hands were at her waist. Their kisses soon became more frantic, and he pushed her against the wall. Their wands dropped to the floor. He broke the kiss and began to kiss her neck, lifting her legs to wrap them around his waist. She ran her fingers through his hair.

"Draco." She moaned.

He maneuvered his hand between their bodies, opening his pants to reveal his erection and moving her panties out of the way. He touched her gently down there, getting her wetter. She gasped and pushed herself closer to him. He brought his lips back up to hers as he thrust inside of her. They quickly formed a familiar rhythm.

"Oh! Draco!" She gasped.

"Vi!" He said back.

Their kisses became more and more sloppy and their movements became more frantic. Each strived towards their own end. Violet's back began to hit the wall from the power of the thrusts. She ignored the growing soreness as Draco plunged deep into her. She kissed him deeply as she went over the edge, him following her soon after. They leaned exhausted against the wall, panting. A boom was heard on the other side of the castle.

Once they rested enough, Draco put Violet back down and they fixed their clothes. They looked into each other's eyes.

"I'll keep you safe." Draco said, grabbing her hand.

He led her down the hall, wands in hand, back into the battle.
