Chapter 1: The Family.
Percy lived in a very abusive family. I will tell you about each member.

Will Wetmore: The lord of the household. He has many set chores for his children, and if they do not do them, they get beaten. He is very strict and usually drunk. His favorite child is Michael, but he likes Bill and Bernie too. He does not like the other children.

Victoria Wetmore: The drug addict mother. She is often too high or tired to watch her 8 children.

Michael: The bully big brother. He is the oldest in the family, and he loves to take advantage of that. He invented a game were they see who can hurt Jade, Percy, Judy Belle, and Luke the most.

Bill & Bernie: A twin set. They are the only other people who get to participate in the "game". They often let Michael boss them around because they are afraid of him.

Jade: The mother figure. Jade is a mother figure to Percy, Judy Belle, Luke, and Jon. She loves them near and dear to her heart. She would someday like to home school them, so they did not get bullied in school. She is often the bully target for her brothers.

Percy: The small child. Will wanted a strong, agile, muscular boy to help with the farm work. What he got was a short, skinny, sensitive child, who hated to work, and was more interested in his hair. He is
Will's least favorite. Percy also desperately wants a "girl friend".

Judy Belle: The little one. Judy Belle is a scrawny little 5 year old. She hates school just as much as Percy does. Her brothers most often pick on her because she is the little one who cannot defend herself.

Luke: Luke is a little 3 year old who often distracts Jade from her school work. His brothers can't bully him because Victoria still cares for him somewhat.

Jon: A little baby boy, this is the only child in the household that Victoria watches over, and cares for.
