Oh, God. I really should give up this. But I'm sentimental. I'll never pay attention to whatever thing it is, but I'll never give it up. I have a condition.

Right. It's been months since I said I'd write this. This is all I've managed to write. You may have noticed I've gotten a couple of Skulduggery Pleasant stories out. I want you to look at the response they've gotten and what this has gotten. 17 reviews in something like two years. 43 in barely two months. Says something, doesn't it?

I was going to say something real heartfelt to the peeps who did review, but I've honestly very nearly given up on this Fandom. If you do want more, please say so.

Oh, and 1160 reads on this. Wow. Yet, 1090 in What's My Name. *cough*

Great. Now sit down if you want to know what's happening here." Lisa commanded.

Old Cesar leaned back in his chair. He sighed and began.

"right. So, the-" he made quotation marks with his fingers "-'time machine' brought you back something like twenty years into the future. Rex,you have three kids with Circe. Doctor Holiday and Six have two children, twins, a boy and a girl. I have a daughter, whom you have met. She is the most annoying and infuriating person you will ever meet. She gets that from her mother."

Nicola paused from her constant tapping and slapped Cesar on the back of his head. He grumbled slightly under his breath, but didn't say anything out loud to her.

"Now,from what I can guess, the time machine will take some- or a lot of time to recharge before it can be used again. This can be anywhere from a few hours or a few months. This is the most help you will be getting from me, as Lisa here needs to learn to listen and not screw things up for once in her life. Honestly, she's nothing but a hindrance. I really don't know why we haven't kicked her out yet,but I surely will as soon as she's 18."

"Hey!" Lisa started to protest at what was said, but seemed to think better of it.

Shooting her a glare, Cesar continued, "-until then, feel free to meet up with yourselves or to check out things you find interesting, I have no idea the effect this will cause to the space time continum thing, but I've long since stopped caring. Good luck. Please don't talk to me again unless one of you is having a seizure or has his head stuck in a chair or such. Goodbye." With that, old Cesar swirled his chair around with all the grace of someone with dramatically exiting experience and swirled over to a conveniently placed monitor.

Rex blinked. "Well then. That was helpful."

Lisa sighed. "I don't really blame him. After all, I have caused a lot of problems. Do you wanna meet your kids or yourselves? Dad said it was okay, even though I doubt the validity of what he's said,he's said it, so..."

Young Cesar shuffled slightly before finally turned to Lisa. "Ahem... Lisa? How about you take Rex and the others and I'll stay back here? Some of these configurations and designs are astounding."

Lisa nodded. "Okay. Yeah, sure. You and yourself can even chat and stuff. Have fun."

Young Cesar nodded, already seeming distracted.

"And you. Pardon me, I have to.." He trailed off,a beeping egg shaped machine catching his attention. He immediately went over to it and the Scientist in charge of it watched while looking really confused and pretty freaked out at the fact that there were suddenly two of his bosses.

Lisa shrugged. "You get used to it."

She led them out to another lift/elevator and tapped a few more buttons, and the left started moving, although they weren't sure whether it was moving up or down. It worked ultra-smoothly, and that made it hard to tell whether it was going up or down or even vertically.

"Where are we going?" Holiday asked. She'd been slowly coming to terms with what had happened, and her natural curiosity was resurfacing.

"Up. We're something like 5 stories down. Then we'll go meet you guys." Lisa smiled. She seemed to like Holiday, and Holiday decided she liked her too. She was dry and sarcastic, although Holiday sensed a kind and caring person underneath the remarks. Sorta like Six,really.

The lift reached the top and Lisa strolled out, leading the way into what looked like a huge mansion. The designs and everything was beautiful and picturesque. Most likely so would guess that an eccentric bunch of scientists were shuffling about beneath their feet.

They'd followed Lisa through a hallway and she turned seemingly randomly and ducked through weirdly placed doors. They finally reached a huge hall, Rex panting with the pressure of walking five whole minutes straight. He could fight Evos and save planets, but exercising? No,thank you very much. "How far is it? Why is this place so huge?" he whined.

Lisa sighed. Her uncle was still much the same, but his younger self was waaay more whiny. "Because it just is. Now stop whining."

Rex deflated for a bit when the realization hit him. "Hey! You cant be rude to me! I'm older than you, young lady! And your uncle!" his 'Dad voice' was extremely bad, and everybody cringed away in the most synchronized motion ever.

Lisa looked at him for a while, like she was waiting for the violent urges to subside. Finally, she spoke.

"Uh.. no. Physically, you're 20. Mentally, you're four. And since I'm not even born yet in your time, you're not my uncle. Also, I'm always very, very rude to you. You're always too terrified to respond. You do not want to challenge me."

Six and Holiday stared.

Six resisted the ridicioulous urge to let out a long whistle. Holiday was pleasantly shocked. Damn.

Rex blankly looked at her, trying very hard to think of a good comeback. And failing. "Yeah.. well.. I'm taller! An-and not kooky!"

Lisa strode over, until they were almost nose to nose. "We are the same height. In fact, I am actually taller. And my IQ is significantly higher than yours. As is my ability to come up with worthwhile comebacks." With that, she turned gracefully, gestured for them to continue followng her. Six and Holiday obliged, both with a newfound respect for the girl.

Rex hung back, sulking, but the thought of being lost in here made him hurry to catch up. Through one final door, they emerged into a huge hall. There were a set of Double doors at one end, and they'd come up right near them.

Rex let out a groan of relief and Six scoffed and rolled his eyes at him under his glasses. "Wuss." he muttered, pushing past him. Rex glared at Six's back.

Holiday looked back at the both of them and shook her head. They might have saved the world multiple times, but they were still remarkably immature.
